this company is fraud, they collecting inaccurate reviews from people make purchase from a company, then they start to spam both the people who wrote the review, as well as spamming the company the person purchase from. They are just another scam company on the internet...sad

Trustpilot is manipulated by companies that pay to be a part of their program. Companies can pay into what they want to do- companies can flag your negative review for anything they want. Those same companies are permitted to supply positive reviews. If a company itself tells Trustpilot that their reviews are from 'verified buyers', Trustpilot believes them. The reviews I see from a company I am having severe problems with are 98% fake, I've tracked them on dozens of websites and they are family, friends, clients who were provided money to supply a review. Trustpilot does not care. That being said, if you fight hard enough to prove that you are a real, true, upset consumer, and jump through all their hoops, they'll leave the review up.

We are a business in healthcare industry. Our patients wrote reviews after all the treatment processes completed in the Clinic. Trustpilot removed all of them because of their policy. I respect. Now we started to invite patients by e-mail when they go back to their country. I read negative reviews about Trustpilot in this website. I'm surprised. Because we have absolutely different experience. They are very keen to check if the review is genuine. They do not remove negative reviews even though we told TrustPilot there is an unfair evaluation from the patient side. They advised us to write our own arguments.

I wrote a review for my husband upon his request, provided proof of purchase, and they took down my review because it wasn't him specifically. He doesn't have time for this kind of crap, I do. Clearly though, any company can say any bad review was "fake" ask for proof and most people will just say forget it. So in short, the ratings are far from accurate.

TrustPilot thinks they own the web and can do as they see fit with reviews. The verification process has more holes in it the Swiss cheese.

Do not trust them. Once you leave a neg review, a few good ones will be added automatically. They should be investigated by authorities for misleading us with fake reviews. Maybe one day.

Trustpilot allows dishonest companies to pay offshore internet companies (mostly based in India) to post dishonest positive reviews about them. This really is the opposite of what they advertise to do!

Just one more reviews company that wants money from you. There is only a little issue with it. They want A LOT OF MONEY. The pricing of truspilot is simply VERY VERY HIGH. Absolutely not logical pricing. You don't want to pay? No problem! You can open a free account. But be ready they will delete reviews from your customers :)))) You will get 5-6 reviews and than every new review will me marked and deleted. They delete even a VERIFIED reviews!! When you would ask why the hell they removed VERIFIED reviews, they will try to sign you for paid service. Very simple. Don't waste your time with trustpilot.

Using Trustpilot enabled me to get a full refund on a purchase that never arrived from a scrupulous online business with an appalling rating on their website, however my review was initially removed because I had used the word "fraud" in my review, but after complaining to Trustpilot, the review was reinstated after I had amended my review. For this reason, I must give Trustpilot some credit, however they are clearly on the side of the businesses being reviewed and for that reason I do not fully trust their website.

I have had a very bad experience with Trustpilot. Every time that I post a negative review it is taken down by their compliance team at the request of the company being reviewed. It seems to be impossible to get the review back on the website again, despite the fact that it is a genuine review of an actual purchasing experience. I now understand what is going on and will no longer take any notice of this website as it is run purely for the benefit of the companies and not their customers. I had always wondered why the reviews on Trustpilot seemed to be so positive compared with other review sites, but now I can see why. As usual it all comes down to money!

I thought Trust Pilot were a review company, only to realise that they are a business promotion & marketing company to promote the brand of paying companies. For example, take ebay who favour the buyer on their website and sellers are at a disadvantage. If a buyer posts a negative feedback on ebay it up to the seller to prove it wrong. Trust Pilot are the opposite, they favour the companies. So if you post negative feedback about a company then it is the reviewer that has to prove that the negative review is correct. Looking at other reviews online proving the negative feedback right is a very difficult task. Trustpilot's business model is completely in the favour of the companies being reviewed on the site. This is the reason that many companies that have a poor rating on other review sites have a good rating on Trustpilot. All a company has to do on Trustpilot to get good reviews is to be actively flagging negative reviews as dishonest and Trustpilot will instantly remove the negative reviews. Reviewers then have a chance to prove the negative review is correct, but searching online and getting feedback from other users, this seems to be a difficult task. For a company to get a good rating, all the company has to do is either post fake positive reviews or get customers who are happy to post their reviews. This method will easily get a bad company worth 1 star have a rating between 8 - 10 stars.

Still at their usual game of allowing dishonest companies to take down your review for totally spurious reasons, then refusing to accept evidence and totally failing to respond to communications. They are merely shielding the companies who pay £800 a year or so to have edited and therefore artificially positive reviews posted. Appalling company.
