FRAUDSTERS! SCAMMERS!!! I made an order to kfc and the app cancelled my order yet I had already paid and have all receipts that it went to their account. I called all the necessary contacts and non of them helped. I have not yet received my refund. DELETE THE APP. VERY USELESS

Absolutely shocking!! I was notified the driver was late to only then get a message from driver saying he had delivered food at My door. Best buy is he said he had taken a photo and uploaded to Uber. He asked Me to check then kept badgering Me to send the pin although I had not received food. I spoke to customer services, they told Me the driver had food and was en route only to then be told he couldn’t deliver & had cancelled the whole order!!! The absolute audacity of the driver lying, telling Me to check then telling Me he had taken a photo is absolutely shocking. To think if I had given My pin I may not have been able to get a refund is sickening. Absolute SCAMMERS!!!

Poor Customer Service at Uber I had a just started a promotion for free Uber One for 4 months to get free delivery. Then at the same time they had promotions going on for a month for buy on get one free on some items at some restuarants, and then they had a few: spend $25 save 40% up to the first $15. So, I was looking forward to buying a lot for a few months to try it out. I placed an order at Harold's Chicken Shack, and there was a delivery charge of $5.50. Any delivery over $5 is not free with Uber one. Then I saw that there was another location of Harold's Chicken Shack, and this had free delivery, I think, it didn't say if there was a charge for delivery. I had just placed the order and I thought I could cancel and reorder from the other location. I tried to find where to cancel and I clicked on a link that led to a chat with a robot. A lot of text was spewed so fast I couldn't read, then I clicked on Cancel Order, then it said I was just charged $18.50. I didn't know there was a big fine for cancelling an order, I didn't see the message, and I was rushing to cancel before the resturaunt started the order. I clicked that the problem was not resolved, and then waited for a "human" agent for ten minutes. The agent was responding by just clicking on prewritten messages saying he refused to give a refund. I said I would go to my bank and block this charge, and write negative reviews, and I was cancelling my membership. He said he had offered the best possible solution. I said "paying $18 for nothing is the best possible solution?" That didn't make sense and he was gone. Then I clicked on Problem not Resolved again and got another agent and re-explained the situation. He made many of the same prewritten comments, saying the problem was on my end. Then he conferred with his staff. He offered me $1o in Uber Cash. I said that's no good because I'm cancelling. Finally after twenty minutes of complaining he gave me the refund. My getting the refund was random chance, it doesn't mean they are nice, they could have gone either way. They think my $18 belongs to them because I clicked by accident. If they had just clicked "refund" from the beginning I would still be a member. Now I know never to try to cancel an order once placed, I've learned that lesson, but it's too late because I am done with Uber for good. They ruined my shopping experience. I would never order from Uber Eats again because there are other delivery companies. You might think you are supporting workers by ordering from them, until those workers are replaced by machines, and the customer service can also be replaced by machines, because they don't need humans to click on prewritten messages.

My food was never delivered. I called the restaurant and they told me to complain to Ubereats. Uber eats said they could not refund my money and that they did have some drivers who stole food. They did not agree to pursue by firing the driver. This food was for a friend who is homebound. I lost 60.00 and no one cares. DO NOT USE UBER EATs!

Worst company ever. Said 30 minute delivery. 2 hours later I gave up and cancelled. My consolation: $10 off a future order of $20 or more. Thanks but no thanks

I have placed an order with Uber eats last night. The order was to deliver 27 donuts to our home for my daughters birthday 7:00 -7:30 am delivery time was offered and we selected that option. Uber eats when we placed an order said our order was processed. Woke up at 6:55am to see a notification on my phone that our order was canceled. There was no explanation why the order was canceled. I reached out to them through Uber eats app and was speaking with two different people. First person said sorry your order was canceled there was an issue with a driver. I asked why didn’t you send another driver if that one had an issue. They didn’t respond to that but send me a message asking was my issue resolved and chat with first person was done. Next person on the chat said sorry and we are working on fixing this issue so it does not happen in the future. That didn’t do anything for me. He started mentioning the credit and how they can not do anything for us even though they let us down. This was for my daughters birthday and she was suppose to take the donuts to school. Now, since the Uber eats failed to notify us earlier we were late to go anywhere and purchase the donuts our selves. When I expressed my frustration the second person in chat said sorry we can’t offer any credit or do anything about it. After I mentioned I am done with them and I will be leaving a review for bad business and service he somehow by some miracle was offering $15 credit. I told them I do not care about their $15 but then to take a responsibility for running our day. This was really bad on Uber eats and we never had an issue with the app until today. What discounted me the most is that they canceled 30 min before it was suppose to be delivered. They didn’t provide an explanation for the cancelation they just said sorry cancelled. That’s all I got. I will never be using Uber eats and will tell everyone I know is using this app to not use it anymore since this can happen again and is really horrible that they can run someone’s day like this and not take any responsibility for it.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service!!! STAY AWAY!! Thank your responding. It was my young sons birthday on Thursday last week and he wanted Boston pizza. I’ve never used Uber Eats before and I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered online, and immediately after placing the order, he changed his mind about what he wanted. Frustrating? Yes, but it was his birthday so I wanted to get him what he wanted. I went back into my order to try to cancel it and couldn’t find the cancel option. At the same time, I called Boston Pizza to ensure that they knew I was going to cancel the order. I called so quickly that Boston Pizza hadn’t even received the order yet. Once they did see the order in their system, they notified me that they could cancel it on their end (on my behalf) and they did. I received a cancellation email from Uber Eats. I canceled the order within 1-2 minutes of placing it so they said it was no issue and actually had to wait a moment for the order to show up in their system. I now have a charge of $63.48 from Uber Eats on my credit card for a meal that was never prepared by Boston Pizza, or delivered by Uber. I have contacted online support through “chat” several times and I just keep getting cut off and told that my issue has been resolved even though it hasn’t. I was told by one rep that he verified that I would be getting a refund, and told me someone from the specialist team would be in touch in 24-48 hours. This didn’t happen so I reached back out again and am being told that my order is ineligible because Boston Pizza had already started preparing the order. Again, I confirmed that night that they hadn’t started it, and I called them again yesterday to confirm that they hadn’t started the order. I’m very confused about why I’m paying $64 for a service that I didn’t receive. I’m also confused about why I was lied to by a rep promising me that I was getting a refund, and I’m just in total shock that Uber is taking this money from me when they didn’t provide me with a service and I met the criteria outlined in the T&C’s to be eligible. It’s alarming how atrocious their customer service is and how, even when lied to by a rep, they won’t stand by their word and do the right thing.

This company has been a nightmare. They have banned my company card for no reason at all. The customer service has not been helpful and one actually hung up while speaking with me. This has been occurring since 2022. I have gotten no help. They are losing so much money as a corporate business we order food daily if not weekly. To get no assistance a is so disturbing.

I was charged 52£ by uber eat for food which was not delivered because the driver broke down on the way so he couldn't deliver it try contacting uber eat they don't reply they don't have proper customer service help where people can communicate with the.. Zero responses they aren't like delieveoo which is speedy in customer service and efficienctbin their responses.. I was charged without refund by uber. I m stopping them I m not using them anymore

Uber eats is fine until something goes wrong - then you get ignored. The driver arrived with an (expensive) broken bottle of wine. He assured me another one was on its way and drove off. Guess what - no replacement. There is no way to complain on the app and Uber just ignore you. No customer service whatsoever, they truly do not care about customer experiences.

I stopped using this service a while back due to Uber Eats only compensating fir up to 3 mishaps (driver, restaurant or other). Then, after much time, received a 50% off offer because “they miss me and want me back). I fell for it. Driver was sent to the wrong address (no fault of my own) and discount was not applied (which customer service rep claims was not honored “because you have had 3 refunds already, in the past, so cannot apply to you”. Translate: we sent you a bogus offer and we’re not sorry for losing you as a customer via our continued bad service. AND, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, the first rep hung up on me and the second refused. Joke’s on me. HORRIBLE BUSINESS! NEVER AGAIN!

Disgusting service. My first grocery order with them was for milk, sugar and 12 pack of toilet roll. The toilet roll got subbed for a 4 pack. When delivery arrived there was no toilet roll at all. I phoned the shop who hung up on me. I left a ticket with support telling them I am disabled and housebound, hour later left another message. 2 days later I have run out of toilet roll, so I went to the ticket to find out if the eventually responded, yes, 3 hours 20 minutes after the ticket was opened. Not a word about the missing toilet roll, just about the subbing of items. So I messaged again and they have just messaged telling me they have refunded the toilet roll, when what I "need", is for the shop to deliver what I paid for. I'm screwed now.

Sadly we join the long list of 1 star reviews. We have now used Uber Eats just twice (never again) and both times they have got it wrong. The first time for groceries they only sent half the order and charged full price. The second time was take away food that they took payment and said the delivery was completed with the delivery address being the restaurant we ordered from. The delivery driver clearly just kept the food. No apologies, no compensation, no understanding that this costs people time, money and stress. I would urge you to avoid using their service when Deliveroo, Just Eat, Food Stuff are reliable alternatives.

If I could give a negative star I would. Worst site to order from. I did a grocery order. Click the items I wanted to purchase agreed to a price for those items. Was is the. Overcharged AFTER deliver by 25 dollars and several items listed were not delivered. Nothing but a runaround with their customer service. I have used instacart and never had a problem. In order once for Uber grocery and this. Avoid them at all costs or it will end up costing you!

Uber eats has been stealing from me and refuses to offer ANYWHERE to investigate fraudulent deliveries! They refuse to tell me where the food I paid for was delivered. The mystery would be SOLVED if they told me who gets all this food. I have had to change my credit card number TWICE. Just help me out with an address, at least. They are spending MY money to shove into their FAT FACES! I can barely get by. My apartment in Boston HAS NOT HEAT. I'm wearing 3 robes a wool sweater and flannel p.j.'s, with long underwear. I sleep in my robes. Uber eats won't give me a clue as to how to stop these people from stealing from me.

Placed order with promo discount as shown on receipt. Incorrect amount left my bank account and emailing I just got parroted answers about it being a holding charge, which it isn't as it has left my account. Very dishonest company with dreadful customer service, I will never order from them again.

Rude staff at customer services…. Drivers… well mine today drove off with my order in his hand. Watched him pretend to deliver it to an address up the road and he took it and then told me it had been delivered on the app. Absolute joke of a company needs shutting down

I ordered from a sushi restaurant through Uber Eats, and I paid $90. On the receipt which was located in the bag with the food showed $59. reached out to Uber Eats to check why the discrepancy, sent picture of the actual receipt, they disconnected me 3 times, 3rd rep said, don't worry, I will not disconnect you, she put me on hold, then she said she's having technical difficulties therefore she can't help me. LOL. What a joke!!

If theres items missing refund the money straight away not 3/10 working days that’s out of order not only is your service failing but your technically borrowing people’s money without permission. Also when u buy groceries they throw in all of the wrong items and give u a receipt with a list of all of the items u was supposed to receive and there is no help number to call when this happens.
