You think being a customer is bad, working for them is worse. I worked for Uber for about 4 months, I can honestly say being your own boss has its perks. My issue is really not with the orders, it is with the support system or the review team. The first time my account was deactivated was because they stated that I didn't deliver the order or didn't make it to the restaurant on time. Uber stacks your orders example ... I was at Sonic picking up 2 orders right well one of them I got right away and but the other order there was a wait on it. So, Sonic tried to deliver the first order and I asked them to take it back and keep it warm so when I deliver it to the customer it won't be cold. Mind you I'm still waiting there, and I get a third order and that came out before the second one too. The first customer is blowing me up asking for his order and I had to explain why I wasn't moving. (typical) I got all my orders and delivered them. The same night I am picking up at Benihana I had until 10:20 to pick up and deliver the order and I arrive at the restaurant at 9:45 customer is calling me and calling me. Or how about me getting an order for restaurants that are closed for the night? Or Customers so drunk or busy to answer the door or phone for me to deliver the food. My absolute favorite is when I have to deliver food to customer and there is no Unit number, Gate code, phone number nothing to help with freekin process. So my first deactivation was because of cancelled orders or late arrival (seriously)... Now here is the real kicker, my account is deactivated again. They state there is fraud. The correct wording is Collusion Fraud. HOW? I always take my picture when they ask me to verify myself and it is me who delivers the food. All my orders get delivered. It makes me so mad they can validate this decision and they aint in the car with me. I was a platinum driver, I worked weekends, weekdays after I get off my first job. Holidays... Man i worked Christmas! NEW YEARS... I worked countless hours and use over 5000 miles for them to just deactivate me over an assumption. I'm trying not for this to be an all-hate review, because Uber is a good company, for customers they need to work on how to treat their employees better. I reached out to the support group, and they cannot help, you cannot speak with anyone in the review area, so they pretty much have you by the balls over what they think you did wrong. To all of you drivers out there, be careful and I hope they do not do to you what they did to me.

This service sucks. We have been one of Uber Eats best customers but no more. We ordered dinner from a restaurant 3 miles away and they initially confirmed 35-45 minutes then, out of the blue, delayed it another hour; 45 minutes after that they cancelled the order completely. I am an ex customer.

I placed orders with ubereats and i had shoppers puchasing their own personal items and charging to my bill...they were itemized and detailed on my bill and ubereats stated to me via chat and phone that they 'cannot provide a refund' that is theft. I placed orders the restaurant was out of what was on the menu...ubereats said they could NOT provide me a refund....i placed an order for an item...the store sent me the wrong thing...i provided the picture as required by ubereats.. i was told they could do nothing.....i HAD to cancel my ubereats account...how there were doing business was NOT ok with my wallet.

The worst company to work with! I completed the hours for the healthcare stipend and now they don't want to pay me. The excuse is, I didn't upload my insurance card during the quarter period, makes no sense, my same insurance card shows effective date as 01/01/2022. I'm tired of dealing with them, they only want to pay 3 dollars an order and every time you call, the customer service agents barely understand English!

Ubereats is going to FAIL in time. They badly manage their company. With their drivers and customers. Grubhub and Instacart manage their companies better than Ubereats.

At home with an awful chest infection so ordered my children a MacDonalds. Uber eats delivered only 1 of the 2 bags that should have been dropped off. Useless!!! So now I have upset kids and when I rang the helpline - yep, they were absolutely useless! So now I’m out of pocket and having to reorder and pay for delivery again! Only reordering this way as I’m too unwell to drive, but I would not recommend or ever use this service again. #Uberuseless!!!! Lesson learned!

Waited over an hour for my food, still waiting now. There is no way to get in contact with them to say I want to cancel my order and get a refund as every driver has cancelled. By the time my food arrives it will be stone cold and disgusting. I will be applying for a refund as soon as it arrives but I have a feeling ubereats will not be very understanding about it! I never order from ubereats as I have had several bad experiences with them, however the restaurant I wanted to order from was only available on there. Learnt my lesson - will stick with reliable deliveroo and justeat next time!

Very disappointed with Uber Eats. I have been a regular customer for a few years now. On Monday, January 2, 2023 I ordered a coffee and a muffin from Starbucks. The driver got lost, so it took close to an hour to get to me. Then, as the driver was taking the bag out of his car, it dropped, spilling the coffee and soaking the muffin. So the order was an empty cup and a drenched muffin. I didn’t accept it and the driver said he’d advise Uber of what happened. I requested credit or a refund because I didn’t receive what I ordered. However, after several days, Uber refused to refund or credit me an order I didn’t receive through no fault of my own. I have removed the Uber Eats and the Uber rideshare apps from my phone and will no longer be using these services. This is no way to treat a regular, longtime customer who is also a generous tipper. Bye, Uber.

I had ordered food which was supposed to be delivered by 5:25pm after I got a notification that UberEATS driver was on his way. The app informed me that it would take the driver 22 minutes to get to my location. Then, 3 minutes later another notification was sent stating the driver had an issue and the food was canceled. I called UberEATS and they informed me the driver picked up my food and had an issue on the way to my location and the delivery was canceled. I called the Restaurant and they informed me the DRIVER canceled my order which was pretty much weird according to the restaurant manager. She said UberEATS then called them asking if the driver picked up and food and if the food was already prepared. Emily, the restaurant manager confirmed nobody showed up and the food was still there. Emily told me the restaurant was paid for the order that was canceled. However, I reordered the same thing and called the restaurant back while I was again on the phone with UberEATS. Ms. Chris, the lady on the phone told me the driver had picked up my order and had an issue on the way. I called them LIARS for not saying the truth. I told them what had happened and she said she was not lying. At that moment, I got a call back from the restaurant confirming my second order was picked up and I put her on speaker and the restaurant manager said out loud what she was told by UberEATS. Then the lady on the other phone who works with UberEATS understood the situation. The problem here is that UberEATS is lying to their customers. When they have glitches on their system, they will find a way to blame the drivers avoiding taking the responsibilities on their ends. They do refund you for the money but do not compensate their customers in any way. The inconvenience and embarrassment we go thru is really bad since I do buy food for my VIP Customers and today is one of those days the issue is taking place once again. Uber is a business full of liars and people who don't know what they are doing and it is really sad what they do with their drivers blaming them for everything.

My Delivery was chosen by a driver who was still in the process of delivering other orders. He took over 45 mins to pick up my order. It was already 37 minutes past the promised time. My order then was delivered another 33 minutes later. The food was ice cold / soggy and inedible. When I contacted Uber Eats they offered me a $16.00 Uber Cash refund for a $95.00 order that we threw in the trash. I talked to numerous agents and it was the same run around!!! Complete joke

Continually spammed with £10 off discounts at eventually decided to use one. Payment page showed the £10 discount yet charged full price when the transaction went through. Wont refund either so having to do a chargeback with my bank. Avoid!

Pretty much everything has always gone wrong with my interactions with this pathetic excuse for a company. I’ve paid for priority and had to wait over an hour for breakfast that was 1km away, then received what I can only describe as inedible slop. They refused to give any refund or credit, I had to pay $30 for literal garbage. It had sat so long that the eggs were RED from the paper under the takeout. I’ve had drivers not understand how my neighbourhood works despite the internet and google maps and then have been charged $10-$20 for nothing. Tonight my kid (4years old) mistakenly cancelled an order within 30-60seconds after placing and they told me they had to charge me $28. Regardless of the stated instructions and policy. I called the restaurant and they had barely received, let alone started any order from Uber. I then had to spend 45min trying to get the refund they themselves offer apparently once a lifetime 😒 This is a pathetic excuse for a business. They rip everyone off. The customers, the drivers and the restaurants. It’s a disgusting company that profiteers off those who require service.

I placed a order at Bubbakoo Burrito on new Brunswick thru uber eats than I canceled it, called to see if I can get a refund they told me that my order was still being prepared so I can pick it up , so when I contact Bubbakoo they threw my food away so I think I should have been refund without a fight now I have to file a dispute with my credit card company 11 days later I'm done with uber eats bad business and they over charge for there services

Really shocking service - don't use it. You'll lose your money and your food won't be delivered and they won't want to help you. Absolutely hopeless company!

Terrible service. Wrong item, food came late and reimbursed me less than half of the item which was wrong. Have contacted to no avail.
