“My whole order was out of stock and after waiting for 2 weeks I was told it was all out of stock and I would have to wait 3 months! I asked for a refund and they take minimum 2 weeks to refund and say that this is the law and all companys do this which is rediculous, just an excuse to keep your money as long as possible... avoid like the plague and goto a reputable company... this ones a scam”
“As an installer, this company is shocking. They will sell you anything. Wrong type of showers or taps for current water supply etc. Sellers have no clue about plunbing. Installed one last week and required some information on a part. My colleague rang to be told send email of part fitting and will ring you in an hour. No call back. Rang three times more. Told they guy who we need to speak to will ring back. No call. No email. 5 days gone now. Absolute rubbish firm. Avoid. Will cost more in the long run, chasing up broken or incorrect parts.”
“Do not order from this company, really bad quality and the customer service is none existence, we have bought from a smaller on-line retailer and couldn't fault them, buy from a company that actually cares about what they sell.”
“We bought two heated towel rails, which look very nice apart from the cheap fittings which were useless and wasted hours of our builder's time. Why cut corners on the fittings? I will never use Victoria Plum again.”
“The bath had patches without enough fibreglass so that the plastic could be flexed by hand. It was replaced 'as a goodwill gesture' but I wish I had got my money back because the new one feels flimsy.”
“Cosmetic touch up on the toilet scratched taps and scratched bath end panel.
A One off.. No my daughter bought a toilet off same site but found a repair had been made so no more purchases from them!”
“Original delivery was problematic but I could get over that. Since then I have had a bath tap fail and the level of service/interest in reolving my problems is nil.
I bought thermostatic bath taps in August. They failed to deliver any hot water over a month ago. I spoke to VP who will not move until they have pictures, so I sent pictures showing water coming out, but how do you show it is cold only??.
Then then closed the case having done nothing.
Case reopened and assured new parts would be sent, they never arrived. I was also emailed a guide on fixing the tap with the parts that never arrived. The guide was for a completely different style of tap, which odd since I had sent photos of my tap.
After 2 weeks with no bath I purchased new taps and requested a refund. Almost a month later and still nothing. No spare parts, no refund and case is again closed.
At least I paid on a credit card so t hat is my next port of call.
So much hassle for a tap. Never worth it.
I will only buy from a decent, reputable, local company in future.”
“Ideal standard tesi semi pedestal basin initially out of stock. Then delivered - smashed to smithereens. 2nd delivery - sink cracked. 3rd delivery - sink cracked. Customer services obfuscated, said there was no manager; my builder had to insist a manager phoned him. They made little effort to sort the problem other than repeatedly resending a sink, and now they're out of stock again so I will probably have to have a sink I don't want that's going to cost me more!!! The problem? A China sink delivered in a cardboard box, no additional packaging to protect it. DO NOT SHOP WITH VICTORIA PLUMB. My building project and tradesmen are being severely delayed with associated costs. SHOP ELSEWHERE - with a company that DOES care about providing good customer service and a product that is fit for purpose. My experience is that Victoria Plumb does NOT. VERY ANGRY AND FRUSTRATED CUSTOMER 😡😠🤯”
“Terrible experience when you have a problem.
I bought a ~£420 bath from VictoriaPlum coming with a 25 years warranty. It has been fitted 3 weeks ago only to discover now a crack on the side.
According to VictoriaPlum, this is a damage caused by too much pressure and as a result cannot be considered as a material defect hence not covered by the warranty.
Apparently a material defect does not cause damage for VictoriaPlum and this is how they get away with saying it is not covered by the warranty.
We just used the bath for showers so to me this is a material defect which caused the damage.
Unbelievable answers from the customer service! Never heard this before!
Avoid if you can as no matter how long the warranty is this is the answer you will get.”
“Avoid this company at all costs. Bought a bath panel which is wrong colour and does not fit which cost £50.00. To return it is £49.99. So have to exchange for item we do not require. Absolutely ridiculous!!!”
“As others have mentioned on here DO NOT USE Victoria Plumb. I had a shower tray delivered which was of dreadful quality. My plumber said it was the worst of it's kind he'd ever seen. I phoned to arrange it to be returned but was told that I had to pay a £49 return free!! I wasn't aware of this but I guess it is hidden away somewhere in their small print. Very bad for business and dreadful quality. Avoid!”
“Worst experience I’ve ever had. It started well, website was easy to order from.. delivery was set; phone call before delivery, delivery men were lovely and very helpful. Problems occurred when it came to fitting the bathroom suite.. spent over £400 and it was problem after problem. Really hard to fit, no instructions, some of the products damaged, missing parts and wrong parts resulting in us spending even more money in b&q on the needed parts. Will never buy from Victoria plum again and will be warning everybody I know to avoid them. Shocking service, shocking products and just a terrible experience all round.”
“Very unpleasant experience using Victoriaplum. Ordered a bathroom suite back in January for a Saturday delivery at the end of April. Received a text Wednesday night that it would be delivered on the following day. Being self employed I had to lose a days pay to be there to accept delivery. Spoke to customer services and was very little help.
Suite was then delivered by the most bone idle rude pair. Barely spoke, grunted that the door was too narrow for the bath to come in so I removed the post box for them. No thank you from either. Then tried approximately 90 seconds to get the bath upstairs before giving up and asking me where they could ditch it downstairs or I'd have to return it. Only when I physically turned the bath on its side and showed them how to get it up did they do it. Took no more than a minute no exaggeration. They then left without a word. Embarrassing.
The email I received following all this then declined me any sort of goodwill refund and instead offered me 15% discount on my next 2 purchases! Bathrooms are a pretty one off purchase for me unfortunately.
Very, very disappointing. Do not recommend, would never use again.”
“Poor customer service. Ordered a tap in February. Received an email confirming shipment only to have a phone call later that day saying it was out of stock and would be shipped in April. No more communication from them until I chased it at the end of April to be told it would now be mid May. Cancelled my order after a 3 month wait.”
“Awful, bathroom was delivered damaged and they refused to replace it initially. Customer service was shocking, only replaced the faulty goods when approached with legal action would not recommend to anyone.”
“Rubbish quality product, brought a cabinet with mirror for over a basin cheap low grade lighting and the shelf is in the way of the sink when you wash or shave lol. Terrible design don’t bother!! Tried to put a review on there site but un-trustpilot decided otherwise amazing what you can pay for these days”
“Victoria Plumb advertise 14 day no quibble returns - however what they dont tell you in the big headline print - only hidden away when you look for it - is that it costs you £49.99 to return a "no quibble return". Although the items were good I will never shop with them again because of this - and wont recommend to anyone.”
