“I use vinted to buy, not sell. Had a clear put some designer sunglasses that were a gift explained this in listening then got blocked? Challenged this said fake and need the proof. Sent over the receipt my friend forwarded to me and still waiting. Cannot speak to anyone and keep saying l have vialated terms and conditions. I see lots of fake bags on the website but nothing done about this!!!”

“I would give 0* if I could. I've been selling on Vinted for fee years now. 100% 5*. Lately I've sold glasses, they were packed properly in a case, box, bubble foil and tape. Put into mailbag (brand new!) and sent. Glasses were stolen from the box, bag ripped and taped by someone who stolen them. Vinted doesn't want to refund me money as they insist it was MY fault! I've never taken pictures when sending items as this situation never happened before and now Vinted says "no money for you, you naive idiot as you don't have pictures" Im soooooo angry! Ive lost money and item and no one wants to help! They take money very easily but when tou need help - they avoid any! Guys be careful when using Vinted! They are not good at all!”

“I literally created a vinted account, and purchased 3 items. My account has been blocked and all the money refunded as they're accusing me of fraud??? Not sure what i have done, i have literally paid with my bank account and the items were coming to my address?”

“I sold an item, the buyer paid for delivery using Evri, but on arrival there one vase was broken and one vase was missing. The buyer contacted me they would like their money and so I cancelled the order and refunded them their money which is the most honest thing to do because it’s only fair. I contacted Vinted about the issue and the customer rep (Juan) I spoke to treated the case like it was nothing, they said there was nothing they could do as I cancelled the order and I shouldn’t have been in a hurry to do so. From a buyer’s point of view, how do you not get your money back in such a situation. I pleaded and asked for a better resolution and for the case to be properly looked into but the customer service has no care in the world and parred me off, it was almost like they derived some sort of joy from it. The level of customer service I received was soo poor, the worse I have ever received and I mentioned this to them, but they still carried on their I don’t care attitude. I’m at a loss of both my items and my money. This was my first time using Vinted and mostly certainly my last, there are other platforms I would rather sell on and I now wish that was a charity donation rather than going down the drain with Vinted. You can’t call either, so you only get what they tell you because they are in such control and have got the power, you’ve got nothing at all.”

“As a seller you are not protected, Vinted don’t even want to listen to what I have to say, and have automatically given the buyer a refund, and they also got to keep the item, even tho it was only the packaging that got damaged, and the item inside is still usable an awful site as it’s all automated replies, and no way of communicating to sort this issue out properly or fairly, very disappointing, sellers beware! Vinted automatically say that the buyer is under no obligation to return the item and the buyer can block you and you have no chance to resolve or get your item back, I don’t understand how the buyer has been able to talk to Vinted as all I get from them is automated replies. Now £20 down and the buyer has been refunded there money and also has the item in perfectly working order, albeit damaged packaging which does not affect the item.”

“Courier delivered my stuff to someone else and it was proven by an email from the company evri yet jordan from vinted 'customer service' absolutely disregarded the proof and dcided to still keep my money saying that the item was delivered.”

“Do not sell on vinted. Sellers have zero protection from scammers. I was forced to accept a return and Vinted paid the refund when there was no proof the item was even sent back to me and I was told I would be compensated and now i can't get in touch with anybody. Their customer service is SHOCKING”

“Do not use vinted. If you have loads of clutter at home throw it in the bin or give it to charity. I didn’t believe the negative feedback 2 years ago I still believe that vinted is decent. But No it’s a scam and customer service has no manner it seem. If you are honest person then this site is not for you. And this company shouldn’t be allowed to run in the uk. If I listen to the feedback I wouldn’t be writing my experience here. Do not use this site go to charity if you want used item, do not wait until you will be of us.”

“Vinted is allowing scammers who abuse their terms and conditions to deceive and defraud buyers. When fraud is discovered by buyer, seller can just ask for return of item (which the victim needs to pay for) re-list and pull same scam again. Vinted does not accomodate for sellers to pay for return postage in case of fraud. They are aiding and protecting scammers!”

“Scammed Sold on Vinted a bracelet which was a gift my daughter got from her ex. It was LV and it was never used. I told the buyer in advance that it was a gift and that I didn't have the receipt. I've sent it in the original packaging as the buyer insisted. The buyer sent back a photo of a different broken bracelet and complained that it was not original. As I've sent everything to the buyer I did not have at hand any further way to confirm that the item was authentic. In absence of my ability to provide a proof (as the item was with the buyer), Vinted decided that it will be considered not original, that the buyer can keep both, the item and the money. So if you want to scam someone and get an item for free, all you need to do is to confirm that the seller does not have the receipt and ask the seller to send you the item with the original packaging. Then you complain, seller's hands are empty, and you get the item for free”

“MASSIVE FAILURE TO PROTECT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I agreed to buy an item and then i realised the item wasnt right for me. I hadn't received the item so contacted the seller + vinted + inpost to confirm this. I assumed that would be it amd the item would get cancelled or at the worst i could return it back especially as the seller indicated this was an option in earlier conversation BIG MISTAKE. I received no contact from the seller until 1.43am where they proceeded to send me a number of EXTREMELY threatening and abusive messages. The messages have continued onto the next day where i am being threatened with violence to myself and my property. The seller has sent so many messages that i have reported this to Vinted who have basically brushed it under the rug and said just block the seller but only when the transaction has been completed/returned. What kind of advice is that? I am being abused and threatened with violence repeatedly with vile comments being made and all vinted care about is the flipping transaction? Vinted should be ashamed of themselves. I would have expected the seller to be contacted/warned or even the threat of further action legally or via the police but none of the above. Seeing as the seller knows my address and is making very serious threats to visit my property i think this needs to be taken alot further. Happy for Vinted to reply to this review and see what they have to say but i doubt they will.”

“the lost my item i sent by post locker point I recived message that it's was correctly sent But when they lost they answer me i can't have my compensation because it wasn't correctly sent : It's a scamp , i sent it how was indicaed with their ticked i printed and applied on the pack”

“I sold a hot wheels car, it was still in the packaging, I sent it well packaged, filled the void and in extra bubble wrap, I took pictures of how I shipped it, unfortunately the package was damaged during transport, so only the packaging and not the car itself. After 7 days this is reported by the buyer, Vinted went to investigate, their message said that I don't have to do anything, after 6 days I received another message that the purchase has been cancelled, the buyer did not want to return it but also wanted the money back, and vinted agreed to this, so the buyer has my son's car and she had the money back, and my son has nothing! It's a small amount but I think this is ridiculous, I just think it's a scam, Vinted has a contract with the carrier so the carrier should reimburse Vinted for this and I should get my money, Vinted literally says that I have to sort this out with the buyer, the buyer no longer responds because he thinks it's all fine, she has my sons money and his car.”

“I listed a collectable figure and game case,no game but they removed my listing and no reasonable expectation very unhelpful but there's alot of collectable stuff on there. Had 5 watcher's all gone without a reasonable explanation... And they can't be bothered to sort it out for me...”

“Today I went onto my account ( only it wasn’t my account but one with a similar sounding name ) which I found out later . This in itself was odd as I hadn’t logged out . I didn’t recognise my favourites and saw there was £0 in my balance , I had over £40 . When I contacted them , they said I couldn’t have two accounts !! Wtf so they said to delete the one I was on but now I can’t get on to my first account . Thieving bstds why don’t you get your act together and behave in a decent manner . Waiting for them to reply don’t suppose they will . Meanwhile if anyone has been buying anything I can’t respond . Pull your finger out vinted this is appalling”

“Someone hacked my account. Kept getting foreign messages. Changed my username. I ended up giving the money I had made to charity as I couldn't spend as it looked like it was nt my account. Now deleted vinted will never use again”

“I have purchased a bag £900 and have received a bathroom towel instead. After 3 weeks of discussion with a different customer support agent every time, they have decided to close the case and pay the seller. I have lost the money and did not get anything. Easy one for scammers - no quality/authenticity check.”
