the courier gave my package to the neighbour even though i was at home. my bell was never rung. i was fuming. then the neighbour denied accepting any package. i contacted vinted saying the parcel never arrived and they sent me instructions via chat then emailed me a form. i sent it back filled out, in email. then vinted wrote me on chat that i didnt reply to the chat by the deadline?! they made me so upset and they do not have proper complaints procedure. not good customer service at all.

Please don't waste your money. In summary, here is what you can expect: 1) There is a high number of scammers = Extremely high. A lot of counterfeit products are sold too. You could receive an empty parcel, or you could receive the wrong item. You could also interact with someone who cannot control their emotions if something doesn't go their way. Those kinds of users will do anything to harm your account. 2) Some products can make you actually sick = Vinted allows several make up and hygiene specific products to be sold in their platform. These are sold completely unsealed. Make no mistake, people try out a lipstick from a corner and then sell it to you. You can never know for sure how old is that item you're buying. This can be disastrous for people with low immunity. 2) If you receive the wrong item = You will pay. A majority of sellers are uncooperative when it comes to returns. 3) If you ask for help, you won't get any. There is technically no customer service. You can write many times and you'll have a bot that will reply briefly before closing the ticket. If in the off-chance you get a human or two, they will be untrained in their own processes. They will also not align on what they say to you regarding the same issue. They are currently expanding onto the luxury market with an authentication service. This would get even messier because they are not able to maintain regular quality on lower priced items. Too many fakes, too many risks and too many issues that arise with absolutely no support. Finally, if you make sales, do not expect to be able to retrieve your money very easily. The best recommendation I can provide is: Avoid. You deserve a better platform.

Terrible customer service hiding behind copy and paste replies and inadequate processes, explains now why sellers on the platform actively scam people & feel so confident doing as they are allowed to do so freely and without consequence. Don’t waste your time with buyer protection either, biggest scam going. I pushed back on the customer ‘support’ replies several times and essentially got told to go away. I won’t be using the platform anymore because of the terrible culture and experience the Vinted team have created.

Appalling customer service. Tried to sell a second hand pair of boots and was accused of dishonesty and them not being as advertised. No reason given, no evidence given.

Purchased a book on Vinted on 20th May. On 25th May I received a childs straw hat. I sent a picture to Vinted and the seller on the 25th May. It took them days to ask for "further information" which was just the same as the picture I sent them on the 25th May and then they told me it'd be 2 weeks. It's now been 17 days since the purchase, no one is refunding me and I am absolutely baffled as to why my money hasn't been sent back when it's clear whatever has happened wasn't my fault. Their "customer service" have literally just told me to stop messaging them (which I won't). Worst gang of clowns I've ever dealt with. They're really fast at taking your money but they don't seem that keen on sending it back.

Ordered a watch , which looked good when it arrived. So I clicked on the received button even though the watch did need a battery. After getting two news batteries fitted the watch isn’t working. Vinted has said by excepting it I have now come back. The seller just isn’t replying to my requests. Having spent £45 on the watch I have no comeback and it will cost about £85 to repair. Do not get scammed like I have

Worst app ever! I sent my package and Vinted says I never did. The buyer got her money back, and I've lost my shoes and the money! No one helps you, no one responds. Terrible, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Sold an item of clothing. Used digital label issued buy vinted and taken to drop off point . Received a receipt and confirmation of pickup. Further label issued which I obviously couldn't use as the parcel was on its way. Vinted cancelled the order due to me allegedly not sending??. Made an automatic refund to the customer.Parcel never delivered. Endless stupid replies from Customer Service. Total lack in understanding the situation. Do not use them unless you can afford to lose the item.

My order arrived damaged, not as described. Unfortunately, customer support is siding with the seller and refusing to issue a refund. They suggest relisting the item on the site, which is absurd as it is damaged.

Absolutely awful service, complete waste of my time. I sold 2 shirts and pair of trousers on there, and had another 3 shirts listed. 2 shirts sold, a Charles Tyrwhitt and a Barbour shirt and burtons chinos, all had label photographed. Go to add more stuff and found account blocked, accused of fraud but with no specific reference as to what I'm supposed to have done. With no phone contact all you can do is appeal the decision and wait 48 hours, then I get a message with then wanting me to send loads of photos of labels etc, but with no specific reference to what. Not only that, the app would switch to everything being in French even though English selected. Whole thing is a mess, googling it, I don't think I'm the only one. If you're reading this Vinted, just because someone maybe disappointed by the item they receive and so complain it's fake, doesn't make it so, perhaps the burden of proof should be on the accuser, ask them to supply the photos and only ban a seller when you're absolutely sure, because I know where I bought my items, and so I know they aren't fake.

It's the 4th time i got scammed on vinted, and vinted always takes the part of the criminals, which are obviously smarter than I am Problem is that there is no real customer service, you deal with an AI, which is not intelligent at all. Result is that vinted protects scammers and criminals instead of a loyal costumer. Who is managing this company should really be ashamed

STAY AWAY - Filled with scammers!! If you care about your money and peace of mind don't ever use this shitt* app. It's filled with scammers and no human customer support whatsoever. So when you get blatantly robbed, vinted bot takes the scammers' side and you lose your money and health.

Dreadful level of customer service! I’ve ended up Paying for a wrong item that was received weeks late from my original order and as then I was on holiday and couldn’t return within the specified 5 days then customer service doesn’t want to know. It is impossible to have a conversation with them as there in no way to reply to the same person. I’ve now deleted the app and returned to EBay!

I bought some shoes which never arrived and filled out the denial of receipt form and sent it back within the 48 hours. Because I used my work email address ( as I had to edit the PDF file and couldn't do it on my mobile) they closed the request and won't refund me my money. I tried to dispute this and they wouldn't allow it telling me to have a nice day. I copied in the original email and referenced both my account name and the order number but the reason they gave was because I replied with a different email address. I am closing my account with them and using other selling/ buying sites. I am a regular customer both buyer and seller but this company is a joke

Blocked & banned for 7-14 days for absolutely no reason. No explanation, nothing. Have fone nothing wrong but I am blocked. Such appalling treatment of customers. Will complete orders then I am closing the account.

Vinted is a platform which steals money from customers, they use personal data, pretending as you sell something. So that to receive the money they said as they need to check your account if it is true or secure .. Then you find yourself without money in your account. In fact they make it to look like you sold something then instead to get money they take money from you. That's how they stole £294 from me. Be careful that he steals your personal data, steals from the banks. I had to change all the cards too.

Title: Disappointing Experience with Vinted: Unjustified Ban and Poor Customer Service I recently decided to give Vinted a try in hopes of selling my Xbox without having to deal with exorbitant fees. However, my experience with the platform quickly turned sour. After creating a post to sell my item, I was abruptly blocked permanently from the platform without any explanation. Attempting to rectify the situation, I reached out to customer service for clarification and to appeal the ban. Unfortunately, the response I received was unsatisfactory. Not only did they fail to provide a valid reason for my ban, but they also claimed it was my second offense on the platform, which is absurd considering I had only downloaded the app for the first time a week prior. Overall, my experience with Vinted has been incredibly disappointing. The unjustified ban and lack of transparency from customer service have left me feeling frustrated and disillusioned with the platform. I would caution others against using Vinted for their selling needs until they address these issues and improve their customer service practices.

Took my money to bump 2 items, blocked my account within 5 min claiming my items were fraud. I explained I’m not home to take additional photos with tag, serial number, etc and they will not reactivate without those items and will not give me my money back for bumping other items. The absolute worst experience, worst customer service, and they will take your money and block accounts.
