I'm now starting week 3 trying to port my number and the porting department just shows no signs for service,very incompetent staff , Vodacom should be ashamed of them self with terrible services like this

Since the beginning of 2024 Vodacom has no backup power for their tower in Luckhoff. **This tower is in town and there is safe to theft and vandalism of batteries and solar panels.** When load shedding occurs the Vodacom mobile reception and 3G/4G/LTE is cut off immediately. 20 Minutes after the power is restored the signals come on - one by one. ***With the power off, it's impossible to contact emergency services like a doctor, police, ambulance, fire brigade or hospitals*** No chance of any mobile communication what so ever. *** This is completely unacceptable service from a "major" company like Vodacom. I hereby give Vodacom notice that I'm going to cancel my existing contracts unless this problem is rectified within this current week.

Be aware Vodacom does not disclose the full information to you, The different departments tell different stories, I was told my account was settled, but then kept receiving debit orders, No invoice was sent saying you owe this much but a debit was charged against the account. I would recommend the following when canceling the Vodacom Contract: 1: Call 2 Months ahead of time, Ask for a reference number that the contract is canceled. Ask for an email and SMS that the contract is cancelled. 2: Request the Agent you are speaking to Name and record the time you called Vodacom. 3: Call the claims department 30 days Before the contract being canceled and ask for the final invoice. 4: Pay the final amount and then request a letter that your account is paid up. 5: Request them to cancel the debit order and ask for a reference for the call that the debit order is canceled. These are hurdles they will make you jump through just to get your contract canceled, they won't explain it to you and you will need to give them the references as proof. I hope this helps anyone preparing to close their Vodacom contract and also warns anyone who is thinking of getting a Vodacom Contract.

WORST service from Vodacom. Moved into a new house and had to move the fibre to our name. We got the contract to start from the first of the month, it is now the 5th and we have been calling everyday, fibre still not activated (that we are paying for) and keep on being told the problem is 'escalated' with nothing done. Poor service delivery... It CANNOT be that hard...

i was surprised by a debit order that i do not know about it.someone used my vodacom account to take 2 phones.I was due for upgrade but i did not upgrade on time so someone went to mainlane game store to fraud my account .I tried to get help at woodmead vodacom but they are referring me to vodaworld store.why must i battle to get help after i went to police station to do affidavit but no help. A lady from vodacom send an email to fraud department and they deleted the two lines but i still get debited everymonth . can someone get a camera footage who could have done that but it seems like it is difficult .They used my old contract to upgrade of which i suspect is inside job.

VODACOM is exploiting people. We canceled our contract a month before time, and now, 3 months later, after phoning, emailing, and getting reference numbers, the installments are still going off. What a bunch of wankers, that after not slipping one payment in 20 years. I now called on the ombudsman to solve the victimisation.

Worst customer service trying to reconnect my fibre. got better service from MWEB. Vodacom agents are the rudest because Vodacom is big. Customer comes first remember that when Vodacom no longer has customers.

I wish I could give zero stars. The worst customer service. They have no idea what they're doing. They tell lies every time. Managers say they will call back but they don't. their manager assigned to hellopeter complaints says they will call back but they don't. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES

Vodacom is the worst network provider and a scam because I have a contract that I get data for everything amd data for youtube but when I use youtube iy uses the real data and they wont let me cancel my contract

Fibre is down daily for 7 days and vodacom continually closes thr tickets and expect customers to wait patiently while they do nothing to remedy the situation. They take their full premium but only deliver half the service! If i could give 0 stars I would.

Vodacom network has become the WORST of them all!. I switched from this other popular service provider since it kept having network problems, not knowing that Vodacom will be worse. I have a contract with Voda, so I went to the EC and I’ve never used my data because there is no network at all. I’ve been using MTN to connect with people. Now I’m travelling to CPT and I still have ZERO network on Vodacom.

I am Overseas and I need assistance regarding my travel data bundles. I sent 2 emails 6 days ago and received no response so l sent a 3rd one now. When I called the agent at the call center , she assisted me but it is still not working. Imagine being in foreign countries and you need data to travel around and Vodacom couldn't bother!!!

Poor service from this company I’m having issue with my contract for long time now calling Vodacom and they promises to help or call back with solution I’m getting letters and dent my name.they say I’m sharing contract account number from KZNso was not paying.

Our business internet line went down. We reported it. We then waited a week with zero response to any of our calls. Kept phoning the 082 1940 number with a logged ticket but was constantly kept on hold listening to your inane hold music, all the while being passed from pillar to post, left on hold for literally hours, and then put through to various consultants that are incapable of doing anything but put us through to yet another incapable human. Even the second tier squat leaders number doesn't answer their phones on 087 289 1538. You get an answering machine that is a pointless waste of time since I don't doubt that they won't return a call either. VODACOM IS APPALLING AT COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I was contacted by Vodacom telling me that they can migrate my package and add R20 to what I was paying,few days after I called and that was not the case,I tried to cancel the migration,the agents kept on saying I will be contacted by managers to resolve these…till these day no body contacted me,be careful with Vodacom

What terrible customer care. It should be customer Don't care. I'm having trouble with my router through vodacom. Talk about lack of professionalism!!! It was disgusting.. There was so much noise in the background that I could barely hear the agent. He couldn't hear me either. I even asked if he was working from home and he assured me he was in the office. I ended the call, hoping he'd call me back. That didn't happen. It's the first contract with Vodacom and will certainly be the last.
