Vodafone are the worst company I have ever had dealings with, my 24 month contract ended and account was clear of any payments. They passed my account to two debt collection companies saying I owe £150 when I contacted them they said it was a mistake my credit score as gone from a 5 to 1. Recently got turned down for a car loan because of them, now taking them to court for £500 damages

DO NOT GET A VODAFONE CONTRACT. it is next to IMPOSSIBLE to cancel the contract once you have reached the end of it. based abroad, i no longer need the contract i had with them whch ended in december 2015. -called in january to cancel and get pay as you go. all ok. -april: receive an email concerning my bill...odd. call up and the contract's still going. cancel again. assured the last four months will be refunded to my bank account. -2 weeks later: contract still not cancelled. half of the money has been credited to my phone account. -today: finally cancellation has been confirmed. half of the money is on its way to my bank account. still waiting to hear about the rest of it. (all phone calls took at least 30 minutes and involved speaking to many many different people resulting in me answering security questions over and over and over again each time they transferred me) how likely are you to recommend vodafone to friends or family based on your experience with us? DON'T DO IT

Vodafone deserve their place at the bottom , the customer service experience is truly awful with incorrect information given out on a regular basis, long waiting times and promises of return calls never materializing. Rudeness is common place with the front line staff poorly trained and be prepared to ride the merry go round of being passed from one department to another as no one has the ability to deal with straight forward problems. If they hope to be on a level with the likes of First Direct for customer service then their only chance would be a complete overhaul from the top down...even then I find it unlikely that a leopard such as Vodafone will ever change its spots.

Absolute disgrace, we have a business account and they should be ashamed of the customer service (or lack of it). No one seems to have a clue what they are doing and pass you from department to department and don't even have the decency to explain to the next advisor what you have already told them prior, entailing having to constantly repeat yourself, totally exhausting, overall a very unhelpful inexperienced lot of nonsense staff.

Been with vodafone over 30 years wont be staying. Got 3 numbers on contact 2 of which has recently been upgraded but so much hassle and false promises. I qualify for loyalty discount but on my daughter's they added 20% on instead of deducting it. They assured me my sons was discounted it wasn't. I was promised 10gig i am only getting 8gig and awaiting a management call back, promised but not yet recieved. This is the last time with this unprofessional outfit. Regards Mr Swift

Before buying the Galaxy S7 I asked 2 separate online customer advisers if the S7 worked with wifi calling at this time and they both assured me that it did and tried very hard to get me to sign up through each of them but I said I was going to think about it. The next day I decided to buy online and collect at my local store.Once at the store I asked the staff member to confirm the s7 will work with wifi calling now and he also assured me that it did, great can you set the phone up so it will work for me when I get home. Before leaving the store I again asked that the phone had been set to work with wifi calling and he said it had.Once home I discovered that it had no option for wifi calling so I called customer services and they said the S7 does not work with wifi calling. So 3 different Vodafone staff members either gave wrong information or lied to me to get a sale.Back at the store was a nightmare...the same staff member ( assistant manager) thought it was acceptable to shout at me at the top of his voice in front of other customers that he hadn't told me it would work with wifi calling, after reminding him of our earlier conversation when I bought the phone he again shouted in front of a shop full of customers ..WHO ON EARTH BUYS A PHONE WITHOUT KNOWING HOW IT WORKS!! very intimidating..I left the store and called customer services to complain but they wasn't interested saying they could only put it on my notes so I wrote a letter and posted it to the address on their website recorded delivery but they didn't even acknowledge my letter or reply. After making several requests I finally received a returns bag and have now cancelled my contract and sent their phone back.NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE VODAFONE AND I HOPE IF YOU'RE READING THIS VODAFONE YOU SHOULD HANG YOUR HEADS IN SHAME .......IF YOU CAN BE BOTHERED THAT IS.

I hope that the person that pays all of his or her Vodafone employees to lie and steal my money gets what they deserve. This company has made my life miserable for months stealing whatever amount of money that they fancy from my account and then telling me that it will be credited back. LIARS!! Hopefully they will go out of business.

Hello I would like to inform customer service manager that my experience today was positive. I rang to cancel contract and pay early fee but my problem was resolved with a very friendly assistant who was informative and helpful. He is an asset to the department and would like to thank him very much Patricia Evans 07502544964

Shambolic company. Tried to get my IPhone unlocked to go to a different provider. Its taken five days, hours of telephone calls, numerous emails - I could go on. They gave me e a PAC code to transfer my phone number but then when you try to get through to them you have to put your mobile number in - guess what, it wasn't recognised. In the end I rang the corporate services number and kept asking them to put me through. No wonder Vodafone is listed as one of the worst companies to deal with - NEVER AGAIN.

AVOID VODAFONE!!! My advice to everyone out there. DO NOT USE VODAFONE!!!!! Use some other phone network. It's just not worth it! I wish I could give 0 stars for this review. I've been a Vodafone customer for 10 years now and their customer service in the last 2 years has gone completely down the pan. Honestly the worst experience I've ever had! I'm definitely leaving at the end of my contract. - Terrible experience trying to get through to a phone adviser. Long call hold times. Automatic security doesn't work and is a waste of time. - Phone advisers regularly pass you on to one of their colleagues without telling the colleague anything about your issue and you have to go through security again! - Regularly promise to fix things for you but never do anything - resulting in you having to call them back several times - Constant barrage of pointless offers from them - Constant barrage of surveys on their service. Regularly tell them how bad they are but never get any call back from them to try to resolve it. - Constant technology issues causing incorrect charges to your account - Every call to them is guaranteed to take over 20 minutes. Most take 40 minutes!!! Time wasters!!! - Impossible to get to speak to a manager. Request them to call you back but they never will.

Had such a problem with visa phone over the past year. Told them had no service anywhere with my phone, so I was offered to pay extra for a booster in my home, well then it makes me only able to use my phone at home, I can't take a booster with me everywhere I go. In October last year was sent constant reminders that a bill was due, and the phone had been kept getting cut off since July, which I couldn't understand as it had been set up as a direct debit, after phoning them and finally being able to speak to someone after 35 minutes of waiting, they said they had changed systems in July and our direct debit details had been lost so had been re setup as a pay your bill online/ monthly yourself, which I had no idea about as I hadn't been told. After getting to talk to someone about the problem they said we still owed £200 which we refused to pay as the phone had been cut off each month since July so had no use of the phone whatsoever, said we would pay for what the phone costs each month but not the sim and what comes with it, as it was their fault we were being cut off. After numerous times saying 'our manager will call you back' (DO NOT EVER BELIEVE THIS) after days just sitting with the phone not putting it down, no phone call ever at all. Finally in December I told them I just wanted to cancel the contract, they said I would have to pay the now £290 plus the cancelling costs, amounting to £450 all together to just get out of the contract, I paid it because I just wanted to be out of a contract with this horrid terrible company, causing way too much stress and problems for just a phone! Paid and finally thinking it was finally over, I am now currently on the phone to them as they have still been sending me bills! I do not understand this company! as for people saying it's obviously people's own doing which is why they have problems, is just lucky!! They will mess up your contract as they do everyone else's. PLEASE EVERYONE DO YOURSELVES A FAVOUR AND NEVER EVER JOIN VODAPHONE, AS IT WILL ONLY CAUSE YOU STRESS MONEY PROBLEMS AND YOU WILL NOT GET A GOOD SERVICE FOR YOUR PHONE. I hope VODAPHONE gets fully shut down to stop them from getting anymore money out of people and letting everyone down.

I just don't even have the energy to write a full account of my experience but trust me when I say stay way from Vodafone. Their employees lie, mislead and make false promises. The way the system is set up, you always speak with someone else so they can make all the promises they want to get you off the line without any repercussions. Been with them for almost 20 years and the deals they offer as 'upgrades' are basically the same as what you can get as a new customer at EE. Stay well away!

Dreadful dreadful dreadful. 4 hours trying to get through only to repeatedly be told my number and personal details can't be found on their "new system" and continually get transferred to someone else on the "old system" only to have to wait in a queue all over again. Then to get transferred to a different department i.e returns, only to have to go through the same old system/new system operators and phone queues all over again. Farcical and utterly shambolic. So I purchased a Samsung S7 Edge for £50 p/m with a promise of being able to use the employer discount scheme to save £10 per month. Salesperson confirmed employer was on their list of accepted employers for the discount. Great. Receive phone, try to apply discount after the phone received as instructed, only to be told that in fact employee not on the list at all and no way to get that discount. So I was blatantly lied to then. They say they can't comment on what I was told when ordering (convenient). So I tell them I will cancel under 14 days cooling off period. Another 4 hours trying to speak to someone over two days, eventually get through to retentions who now say they'd be willing to apply the discount after all. Too late I tell them. What a nightmare company to deal with. They agree for me to return the phone a week later I'm still waiting for a flaming return envelope to cancel the order and contract . Do not, I repeat DO NOT use this company, if you want ANY sort of customer service. I have since gone with a 3rd party company and EE and saved £15 per month on the advertised price. Absolutely the worst company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with.

I contacted Vodafone about bad signal in September 2015. After being told it is work being carried out in my area service will return as normal. Now it is April still nothing has changed so I contacted them on the 05/04/16. I was told to buy some form of booster for my home if I have bad signal! When I informed the operator on the line this happens most place I go and I can not see how a booster in my home helps and I would like to raise a formal complaint. I was then told to email or to post a letter as we can not take complaints over the phone! So there for sent an email and I later received a phone call. In this phone call the woman that spoke to me must have been reading a script as this was out of order. I got told we want to make your package better by giving you more internet but it is going to cost you an extra £10! But when I tried to negotiate for a better deal to resolve this problem caused by them I might ad. I was told if you do not wish to except are deal and a £20 credit that is fine. But we do not wish for you to phone again as it will cost you the sum of £20 a phone call for a complaint!! They have given me no choice but to complain to the Ombudsman Service now as I found that to be a threat. I am a paying customer Vodafone and I hold the right to know what I am paying for and if it is of poor quality the right to complain! Sadly Vodafone or should I say Dick Turpin wish to have the sum of £676.09 for me to leave this hellish service of bad signal and poor internet. Please I urge anyone looking for a new phone contract to not go with Vodafone! As they are robbing and do not care as long as they have your money they could not care if they sold you a lemon!

I am into my 4th month of wrangles with this awful company, which started when they sent my phone upgrade to an incorrect address despite me speaking to several different people trying to stop it being sent after receiving a confirmation text, about 3 minutes after arranging the upgrade. I cancelled my upgrade so i could leave at the end of my contract, in 8 weeks. Then 2 months later they suddenly took over £1,000 from my account for the lost phone and another 2 years worth of contract fees. To top it off, they then suggested I go to get the phone from the person who signed for it and SELL it to cover the bill!! Other issues include; charging me £50 for a 'free' handset, overcharging on my monthly payments without explanation and cutting me off after trying to get through for hours. So they now owe me around £1,200. Avoid.

I was woth vodafonw for 2 years. Everything fine until i went to upgrade my phone. Nexus 6 kept turning its self off. Rang to get a replacement and they said they woupd send me a bag to return it to them. I had tobrequest the bag 12 times as it never showed up. In the end i threatened legal action and demanded conpensation. They then sent a courier 2 days later to collect the phone and cancelled my contract. Awful customer service. Awful company
