Vodafone service as bad and 3rd class service. I transferred my mobile number from Vodafone to another company on 18/02/19 which I had paid 235 advance bill and also had 200 security deposit which I am eligible to return to Total 221 for which I have visited Vodafone Store 8 times. To date, they have not received refunds. Plays like a thief for 8 months. This is a cheter company

DO NOT USE THEM! Cannot express how rubbish Vodafone are! We were with them when we bought a new house, when I informed them of the house move they told me the people buying our house had taken over our line so when they took it over we would get a £139 fee for our contract terminating before its end date. I had numerous phone calls about this and after speaking over me and being completely unhelpful they told me it was my responsibility to get our buyers to cancel their order with Plusnet. Luckily I wont settle for things like that so I Googled it and contacted BT and Plusnet who both told me that this wasnt right and Vodafone should have rejected the request for my line to be taken over in the first place (fyi this procedure of taking over another line without permission is known as SLAMMING). After me telling Vodafone that it was against Offcom regulations and was known as slamming they suddenly decided they would contact Plusnet and sort it out. I then got told I had to wait over 2 weeks for an engineer to come to the new house to connect the line. The appointment was made for the afternoon then on the day I got a message to say it was actually booked for the morning. Then after being connected (after specifically telling them I needed to keep it) they told me I couldn't have my old number as I had moved from one exchange to another. Bottom line.... I have 18 months to go until my contract expires with them and Im counting down the days!

Absolute nightmare. Customer service is a joke. Stuck with them for another two years. I was trying to cancel my contract with them which I had for a while (too expensive, much better prices with competitors), when they have first presented me with a more expensive option (?!), to which I have said clearly that it's too much and I don't need it. Then a much better option was presented, I was really excited about it. Discussed the new plan in detail, I have confirmed that this is what I would like. The whole process was taking forever, and they new I was in a rush. They have asked me to confirm which phone I wanted (gave me two options), stupid me thought that as I have said that I want the cheaper plan, this is what we were talking about. It was not. I'm stuck with a contract that I do not need, with ridiculously expensive plan and they won't do sh** about it, . Their "representatives" won't help as this is what I have chosen apparently. Again, I told them I need a cheaper plan and this would be the only reason for me to stay, if and only if, I can pay less. Vodafone is a disgrace, do yourself a favour and avoid them at all cost

Dispute with Mobiles.co.uk and Vodafone over duplication of contracts. On 4 July 2019 @18:30, I ordered a Samsung S10 phone on a two year Vodafone contract from Mobiles.co.uk. Four days later the original SIM number was changed to my personal number by Vodafone. The day after that the phone developed a fault and was subsequently sent back to Mobiles.co.uk, who apparently requested Vodafone terminate the contract on 10 July (well within the cooling off period of 14 days). However, I was not made aware my contract had been terminated until I called Mobiles.co.uk on 19 July, and after my first monthly payment of £24 for that contract had been taken by Vodafone. Mobiles.co.uk advised me that as they had terminated my contract of 4 July with Vodafone, I should order a new phone with new Vodafone contract from them, and this I did on 19 July, and received my new phone with Vodafone SIM card and number on 20 July. However, as my personal number continued to receive calls, I emailed Mobiles.co.uk asking why, and they replied that the termination of 10 July had in fact failed and that I should contact Vodafone about this! On talking to Vodafone, they told me they could do nothing without Mobiles.co.uk authority to terminate the contract, ignoring the fact that Mobiles.co.uk, had already done so on 10 July. Despite going to Vodafone shops and subsequent calls to Vodafone customer services, they refused to do anything about the situation of my two contracts with them. By this time I had realised that on 10 July, Mobiles.co.uk had asked Vodafone to terminate the original number and not my personal number which is why my original contract was not terminated. This was negligence on the part of Vodafone who terminated an in active number, and did not consult their records that they had changed this to my personal number! Despite this information Vodafone continued to refuse to resolve the matter, essentially blaming Mobiles.co.uk lack of communication. On 26 July, Mobiles.co.uk promised to escalate the termination within 3-5 days, but this never happened. On chasing this on 3 August Mobiles.co.uk told me to get a PAC code from Vodafone to port my personal number out, and that after that I would receive a final bill with my termination fee attached from Vodafone. Furthermore that I should send the fee to Mobiles.co.uk so they could have the funds raised to cover this expense . Vodafone refused to give me a PAC code, but on 4 August @ 09:45 they did say they would at last terminate my first contract for an early termination fee of £431.83. This was of course unacceptable to me when it was partly their negligence that was to blame, and when I emailed Mobiles.co.uk to ask them to confirm they would reimburse this fee should I pay it, and when they would reimburse me, they ignored me! It is clear that there has been negligence on both the part of Mobiles.co.uk and Vodafone that has led to this situation. In addition Vodafone has been deliberately unhelpful throughout. Furthermore, as there is a cooling down period of 30 days when the mobile phone is faulty, both Mobiles.co.uk and Vodafone should have easily terminated the contract within that time frame. Indeed, at the precise time when Vodafone demanded that I pay them the early termination fee, it was chronologically within that 30 days (if you take each day to be 24 hours from the time I placed the order with Mobiles.co.uk) and therefore Vodafone may be breaking the law!

Terrible customer service, worst I've ever experienced. Been in to the shop multiple times been lied to and told different things, spent hours being passed around on the Vodafone and being put on hold. Will definitely change provider at the end of the contract.

Hi Same problem 3rd time and wrote to director and there is a team for those complaints as it is obvious it doesnot get resolved before. 2 Payments are leaving my bank account to Vodafone and i cancelled one and they say they dont have 2 payments 20 odd years banking my bank never put money in their account with reference Vodafone with a standing order numer. They accuse me that i try to get their money when they have claimed £20 from sep 2018 to date. Please please dont get the contract unless you would like some distress not worth the discount you would receive. Worst worst service even from directors office complaint team.

DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! We have a simple problem with a router that needs replacing. Currently, I have spent over 100 hours on the phone to Vodafone or waiting for promised deliveries that don't arrive. Their customer service staff are either unwilling to help or totally incompetent. According to them they cannot refer a case up if they can't handle it and again, according to them, they have no way of contacting a complaints department. We have communcated by phone, by email, by live chat - all were a complete waste of time. Trying to figure how to get out of a contract for a service they are not supplying. I gave them 1 star because I couldn't give any lower. Caveat Emptor! You have been warned.

Never in my life have I had to deal with such a creature like Vodafone. I paid a contract out for around £600 final! Then to be told a year later I owe £500 then 3 months later I owe £1200. They make it up someone needs to shut this place down.

Last month, I got a MIFI device to cover my internet needs because Vodafone's broadband router wasn't working properly when it arrived. I returned the MIFI device once the router was working again and got refunded for the device itself. It turns out the staff member who processed the refund did not update his notes and so my MIFI account wasn't actually cancelled. I just discovered that Vodafone has been charging me £25 per month for a service I no longer use. I contacted customer service using the online chat system who told me that the in-store staff member had not updated his notes and that I had to go to the store to get them to update their notes. I was EXPLICITLY told that I would be refunded for the £50 I was wrongly charged if I went to the store. Guess what? I went back to the same store and the guy who served me was the same guy who had processed the refund of the MIFI device. He insisted he had done the refund correctly (clearly a lie) and told me that in order to get refunded for the data service, I had to contact customer service (with whom I had just spoken). I experienced a similar level of service when purchasing my new broadband router, and I only picked Vodafone because I was already a mobile phone customer at the time (I have since ditched them for another network). In that case, I was told by a customer support technician that I would NOT need a new router delivered, but then a senior technician directly contradicted that and told me I WOULD need a new router. Do Vodafone's own staff have any idea what they're doing or who is responsible for what? The in-store staff member was just plain incompetent and clearly trying to cover for himself, but this implies mind-boggling dysfunction within the company itself. Bouncing customers back and forth between departments to process a simple refund is unacceptable. I'm no longer convinced that Vodafone's staff are any more technically competent than the people who ring them up for help.

Purchased a new contract on 21st May 2019 which included an iPhone 6s The phone went wrong on the 23rdJuly 2019 contacted Vodafone and was directed to The Vodafone store In Sevenoaks who confined the phone did have a problem and directed me to the Apple store at Bluewater Apple were surprised that the phone had so much warranty as the phone is obsolete Apple carried out diagnostics on the phone and confirmed that it did have a problem and they changed the screen which did not resolve the problem They did not have an iPhone 6s in stock as they do not supply them any more and I now have to wait for approximately a week for a replacement to be found and forwarded to them As this phone (which I’ve had for 2 months) is out of date and production what happens if and when it goes wrong again I have been sold a contract by Vodafone that is not fit for purpose as l now have to live with this contract for 3 years unless I buy my way out of it

Vodafone employees on the whole are badly trained I spoke to maybe 8 employees relating to the same subject and only 2 of them knew what they were talking about and only one of them was able to explain what had happened and give me the correct advice on how to resolve the issue. I told that person to give themselves a big pat on the back and congratulated them on being the first one in a long line of people to know their *** from their elbow. Anyway avoid if possible ee are far better in terms of customer service.

Avoid them at all cost!!! Rubish service. Network goes down on a regular basis. You finish paying for your phone contract and after you discover that these scums blocked your phone only allowing you to use their network. Phone was paid in full yet they left it blocked!
