I have called Vodafone for the 3rd time, so now took 60 days for SARs request. Also asked for ID, which they are not meant to ask for also. This means that after speak to 4 different agent all of them not know and Vodaphone website states 40 days. Come on Vodafone get your act together. I then speak to Vodafone complaint who state CR dept refuse to take the call and ask me to fill in the for agin and wait 30 days again. This is not acceptable POOR POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FORM CUSTOMER SERVICE AMD. CUSTOMER RELATIONS. Then next to be told by a complaints agent CR don't know what they are doing and something about a chocolate house. I least this person understands SARs. Was fed up by this time and let's see if a get my SARs in writing. For people that need to know the correct process for SARs use the link below. TILL VODAFONE GET FINE BY ICO, they will never learn To vodafone, I DO NOT HAVE FACEBOOK, TWITTER, INSTAGRAM if a compentent person wants to speak to me then call me Guidelines are as follows. icoorguk/for-organisations/guide-to-data-protection/guide-to-the-general-data-protection-regulation-gdpr At a glance Individuals have the right to access their personal data. This is commonly referred to as subject access. Individuals can make a subject access request verbally or in writing. You have one month to respond to a request. You cannot charge a fee to deal with a request in most circumstances. Example An organisation receives a request on 30 March. The time limit starts from the next day (31 March). As there is no equivalent date in April, the organisation has until 30 April to comply with the request. If 30 April falls on a weekend, or is a public holiday, the organisation has until the end of the next working day to comply. For practical purposes, if a consistent number of days is required (eg for operational or system purposes), it may be helpful to adopt a 28-day period to ensure compliance is always within a calendar month. Can we extend the time for a response? You can extend the time to respond by a further two months if the request is complex or you have received a number of requests from the individual. You must let the individual know within one month of receiving their request and explain why the extension is necessary. However, it is the ICO's view that it is unlikely to be reasonable to extend the time limit if: it is manifestly unfounded or excessive; an exemption applies; or you are requesting proof of identity before considering the request.

Never use Vodafone! I have 2 contracts with them paying over £80 per month. I have a Blackberry under warranty and the screen has partially detached and they will not assist me. The phone hasn't been dropped, is kept in a case and in otherwise perfect condition. They are only interested in selling me another contract and making me buy myself out of my current contract! I can upgrade for free in 2 months BUT they want £160 to upgrade now! I visited the local store today for assistance and was intimidated by their all male staff who were very rude and condescending to me! Considering Vodafone called me yesterday to offer me something as a valued customer, they are a joke! I will be posting everywhere how bad my experience has been both with the customer care team but more importantly in store, I wouldn't recommend any females visit the store n question without a male partner, friend or relative with them!

DON'T DO IT . Cannot and would not recommend Vodafone to anyone. All the time I was with them I was getting unsolicited sales calls as many as 15 a day. some as early as 2 in the morning none with my new supplier. All the time you pay, you won't hear from them but god help you when you try to cancel. I was a customer for ten+ years. But, when I tried to take my custom elsewhere the problems really started. They will charge you a further month beyond the last time you use your phone , if you refuse to pay they will make the account live again and run your bill higher, then charge you £5 late payment charge, then call in debt agency (ardent) who will threaten you with a further 15% charge plus £100 to forward it to debt recovery. when I said I wanted to take my old number with me to a new supplier they couldn't or wouldn't issue me with a pac number. Apparently I had a golden account (a special number, valued customer) see what they sell for on ebay. I am absolutely appalled by their treatment. They will give you the run around telling you to go into their branch who will thrust their phone at you and tell you to phone customers services, just as you were previously. Every phone call they keep you on hold for around 20 mins waiting for someone to talk to. Even if you succumb to their robbery and pay their bill, they will not confirm in writing that there is nothing outstanding and I wait with baited breath to see if a debt new letter arrives in 2 months time.

Vodaphone are a professional rip off company. I had a very bad experience and would highly recommend to stay away from them.

It is the worst company ever! I've been told by the sales representatives when i made my contract in Germany that i will be able to cancel my phone contract in case i leave the country. And when this happens, i've been told that i can only talk to the customer service and my demand of contract cancellation was rejected even if had all the needed papers (Kuendigen Brief, Anmeldung (Registration) in der Schweiz, Apmeldung (cancel of Registration) in Deutschland)!! So i keep paying the basis because i am not allowed to cancel the contract and i cannot use the phone because the extra-fee is too expensive. This and also, even when i was still living in Germany i would pay a bigger bill than usual because of some services i did not even ask for. and every time i cancel them, i have extra-fees for other offers i did not ask for!! I don't recommand vodafone to no one!

Really awful. Slow fibre broadband. Tried moving house with them, all seemed fine. Had a call a week later to say this was going to take over a week longer than expected, so I've already moved house and I have to wait over 2 weeks for my internet to switch over. The lady I spoke with seemed utterly disinterested in resolving my complaint, or that I must work from home WITH internet. Wish I'd listened to the reviews & avoided them.

Vodafone suspend my account whilst I was abroad, they claimed I was over spending on my monthly bill. I was by £40. It left me no contact capabilities. I have been with for well over 10 years. I have had holidays all over....tossers caused me a lot of problems, if I could sue them I would.

I have recharged with their plan for 398 for unlimited calling and 1.4GB data per day, but all of a sudden, it stopped suddenly and balance started deducting from main balance. After complaining, they said it wasn't under any offer so you may enjoy data(which I don't need) but need to further recharge for calling(after deducting). When talked to them they asked me to submit proofs of 2 months back(Screenshot of SMS and app notification). That's totally ridiculous.

NO LETTERS NO EMAILS NO NOTHING. i tried on 3 ocasssions to cancel the contract. Originally paying £12 a month then all of a sudden it goes to £20 a month. No warning, no letter or email to say this was happening. I only ever use this phone as an emergency so it hardly gets used. I contacted their customer service which i have to say its the worst customer service to exist. First person I spoke to said you have to give 28 days notice. I said thats fine , i am giving you the notice now. he said after 28 days it will be cancelled. 2 months later, im still being charged. I contact them a second time. the chap said the previous agent did not cancel it. he will do it now for me. GREAT i thought. anyways next month same thing. I phone customer service who i get this stupid women who was like " i can see you do not use your phone much, not a fan of technology hahaha" how unprofessional. I told her enough is enough this is 3rd time I am phoning to cancel. They have had 3 months notice not just 28 days. I told her i am cancelling the direct debit and expect to recipient confirmation in the post it has been cancelled. 3 1/2 months passed no calls, no letters no emails. Then today I got a call from a debt recovery agent. Vodafone have sent it to debt collectors. what a joke. STAY CLEAR OF VODAFONE. i will never ever deal or associate with this rubbish again.

Five months ago, I got out of an abusive year long relationship with Vodafone. I got a year long contract - a very expensive one as well (I think I was paying £40 a month). The contract seems good at first because I was paying half price at first and everything seemed to be working more or less fine. After a few months I moved houses and my connection was completely gone, except when I held my phone out of my window at an arms length and upwards! And even then the chances of it cutting off were very high. The only time it would more or less work would be in very specific places in central London and when I went home to Geneva. I was virtually stuck with an unusable phone for 10 months. I have called Vodafone a thousand times to ask what I can do. They told me first that there was some work being done in the area and it will finish in a few months. Then they said to turn my phone off and on having the adjusted some settings. None of this was true or worked. I've had to call people with my arm stretched out of my window for a year. (I have O2 now and it works perfectly, which means none of this is the fault of my phone itself.) After all of that, I finally called them to cancel my contract. I requested a PAC code at the same time. The lady said when my contract comes to an end, it will be canceled for good and the last payment was going to be for that month. A month or so ago, I received a notice saying I owe them money. I am extremely meticulous and there is no way I would have forgotten to pay that last bill. Being suspicious of this, I called them. They have told me that this was actually AN ADDITIONAL month that I have to pay for, because when you request a PAC code, it is useful for 30 days, and you thus have to pay for those extra 30 days. Also, according to the man on the phone, the contract does not end when it ends UNLESS you give a 30 days notice to end it even if there is a specific end date on your contract. I was not informed of any of this when I called to cancel. This has truly been a nightmare. I will add, though, that my brother has a VOXI and he is happy with it and it works for him. He does not seem to have any issues with it. However, I would not recommend to get into any long term contracts with this company and be aware of all the ways they try to cheat you out of money.

Called me to offer me a discount after requesting my PAC code and when I accepted the tariff they offered I found out (by following up another issue) that they had in fact put me on a completely different tariff. The one they had offered me "did not exist" and they refused to honour what was promised. Then managed to screw up my final bill and tried charging me double! Absolutely useless professional buck passers (it's always a 'different department' that you need to speak to). Only with them as my area is limited for signal with any other providers.

I've been trying to organise a new broadband contract with Vodafone. I've been through the setup three times which involves listing a load of past addresses and bank details and has taken me most of an hour. Everytime something has crashed on the website or a link stops working or I get sent to an error screen. It's taken me half the morning and I'm now just angry and frustrated. Won't be buying their broadband anymore but still feel they owe me for my wasted time.

No service at Chichester store. Only 2 people working and both with customers. I only wanted to ask a quick question. You should implement quick service to your stores and keep them separate to renewing or taking out contracts. Even if I just wanted to buy a screen protector no one was able to run it through the till. Just abysmal.

I WARN anyone that consider using vodafone as a telecommunications provider do your research first e.g https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/10/19/great-mobile-phone-rip-off-millions-still-billed-handsets-have/ https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-37772118 https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.vodafone.co.uk Vodafone are the worst company I have ever ever dealt with in my life. I raised a complaint over the mis-selling of a service over 2 year ago and it is still outstanding i was forced to take the complaint further with the ombudsmen due to their once again short fall in customer service and the fact that they could not be bothered to acknowledge either of the 4 complaint letters sent to them. After the ombudsmen dealing with the complaint and closing the case down vodafone were to get in contact with me with a remedy within 28 to resolve the matter. This was not the case and i did not received any correspondence e.g telephone, email, letter, nothing. To my knowledge this has been settled. I have been left 2 years down the line with black listing against my name, my life ruined for 6 years, nothing but stress and worry due to the fact i cannot obtain credit and have the luxury id like to have because of this THIEVING, SCAMMING,AWFUL,SELFISH COMPANY. I WOULD NEVER IN MY LIFE DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN IF SOMEONE PAID ME OR PAID MY SERVICES FOR ME. Their customer service is absolutely appalling when i realized myself after 2 years that this has been put against my name i contacted them to solve the matter and i was told nothing but false information by each CSA i spoke to they could not even tell me who the 'debt' so they call it has been passed to because they didnt even know themselves. @Vodacom @VodafoneUK @Vodacom @VodafoneUK @VodafoneIN @VodafoneIN
