Every month Vodafone fails to take our money via direct debit and then suspends our broadband. We have given them the correct details over and over again. Every time they insist they have the correct details and then proceed to use a different number. WHAT MORE CAN WE DO TO ENSURE THAT YOU TAKE OUR MONEY?

Absolute joke. They will take every penny they can of you. I've had a sim only contract for years, been on the last price plan for nearly 2. All of a sudden, it doubled in price. £40 for 18 gig data and unlimited minutes and texts. You can get a really nice phone paying this price monthly. Vodafone claimed in the small print of my contract it says there is discount applied. Cancelled my contract with them to find out I have to pay for another 30 days. Absolutely disgusted. £120 for 2 months of 18G, unlimited texts and minutes and to cancel.

AVOID! MISLEADING INFORMATION & VERY POOR SERVICE! Vodafone for home broadband and have to say the service they offer is awful. Paying for Superfast 2, the provided service is not even Superfast 1

this is by far the worst customer service i have ever come across, i had a dongal sim only for £15 a month the dongal is very rarely used but i received a bill for £145 when i queered it i was told that i used over my allowance and was charged £6.50 per gig never explained when i took this contract out, so i asked if i could spread the payment they said i could over 6 months but with no data service i waited nearly 2 hours to sort this out finally manage to speak to the most rude obnoxious patronizing person called Erin who insulted me and talked over me whilst trying to speak i decided to pay for the bill on my credit card and cancel my contract i was told i had a £112 cancellation charge i gladly paid that as well just to get free of this company by far the worst company anyone could have the misfortune to deal with Be warned

After many years with Vodafone, saying I was a first class customer and yet for the past 12 months I had been unable to get into my account to question extras charges. So much so I had to request an email for a detailed account for me check on my bill. Spending many many hours on chat line over a period of many months they were still unable to give me access to my account. On one occasion when they were trying to set up a new account they miss spelt my name locking it up. Going into the local Vodafone shop although my account was on line the staff spent 45 minutes trying to sort it out to no avail and then suggested I went back on line. After numerous recorded letters to them and receiving numerous text letters from them with promises my account would be closed so I could open as new, each time this failed even after quoting the special number I had been given, they had no record of it. Three months previously I had renewed my contract, no copy of contract was received. Having previously a kept all my texts over several mouths months, I told them if after ten days they had not sorted my account, I would leave. On July 1st my new mobile supplier rang on my behalf to ask for a pac number, she immediately past the phone to me and I was asked for my pin number, which I told them I did not have. After security checks I was told that as I had broken my contract I would have to pay balance. Knowing these calls are recorded I emphasized they had broken the contract by not giving me access to my account. The same thing was said again and I repeated they had broken the contract not me and I would not be paying. As the speaker phone was on the staff with me could hear everything along with customers waiting. Both them and a customer said what a lousy customer service and how rude they were. Changing over I sent a payment for the month of July in good faith only then to get a bill for over a hundred pounds. Taking it to arbitration with copies of letters and texts. Vodafone stated I asked for a final price to leave them, my reply was that was a total lie as I had emphasized twice on that day, they had broken the contract not me. My above statement would obviously be on record they could not produce anything else. With regard to my appeal, it appears that the requirement to be able to see my account is not part of the contract. even if it had been it did not justify a reason for leaving early. Who would deal with such a company when you can not see your bill detail before paying. I lost my case, but was was awarded damages on the grounds of 13 mouths of stress and very poor customer service. This amounts to nearly as much as they demanded with threats of court action and bailiffs. So they will pay themselves to clear my account. They have been also instructed to give me a written apology for the horrendous customer service and stress they have given me. I now get the best service from a competitor at a cheaper price thank you Vodafone I should have moved earlier.

Sent to a closed store for a warranty issue, had to drive 12 miles to another store, lied to about my repair.... Mucked about over a replacement handset, given a broken temporary phone, my original phone could not be repaired so gave me a SCRATCHED secondhand phone, lied to about compensation, had my consumer rights broken and sent to deadlock, Honestly best avoided

The worst experience ever in Luton shop. The manager totally ignore you. Start conversation gives you a phone to call yourself customer service and gone.... no one looks after you. Spending 1,5 hr in the shop on the phone with customer service and staff ignoring you just passing phone over form one person to another. This is a joke. I have 2 mobile contracts with Vodafone and wanted to get home broadband which again service was rubbish. I've asked for a refund for engeeneer visit and no one could do it. They charged me within a second but no refund facility is available. Engeeneer visit rubbish, could not get broadband working for 4 days . Everyone lies to you and ignore you pretending they doing a job. Very disappointed with this visit, especially with manager service. Manager should be always on the floor helping staff and customers not hiding in the back office

Stopped my direct debit without telling me and then called me out of the blue to tell me I owed them £900. Still paying the price since the RUINED my credit score and now cannot finance anything. If I I could give zero stars all round I would

I recently ordered Vodafone broadband and the customer service was awful. First , I got the router delivered to later than what the message mentioned . Second , when I called the customer service with regards to my activation of broadband , I got varied answers and not a clear explanation. Finally , after waiting on call for one hour , I get the information stating they misplaced the address and would not be able to activate the broadband for another 10 to 14 days . This has wasted my time and also delay in my work . I strongly recommend not to go for Vodafone broadband service as in future if there is any issues , the customer service won’t be of any help .

Vodafone have tried to scam me into upgrading my contract my threatening me that I need more data because ‘5g will be coming soon!’ - they did this after trying to force me to give up personal information about my account, saying ‘we have important information about your account, but you will need to confirm a few details before we can tell you anything’. When THEY CALLED ME. Very unprofessional. When I cancelled my phon contract to SIM only, they also continued to charge me for insurance on a phone I wasn’t even in contract for anymore. I have had countless issues with them, although I have been a loyal customer. I am leaving them at the next opportunity. Good riddance

A company that says sorry but essentially pays lip service and takes your money. For stress free experience with people who wish to help go somewhere else. New phone had problems from the very beginning, took it to the coda phone shop- incredibly rude - took it to Apple shop left the country next day phone still not working. Now apparently it’s not there problem. We are too far down the line!

Absolutely terrible! I was not informed for 2weeks that my order has been cancelled eventhough i have recieved a confirmation of a DD setup. When i called vodafone to enquire when will i recieve my router thats when i was informed that the order was cancelled by not even talking to the customer explaining what are the other options available and was suggested on the call to place another order which meant i have lost the benifits that vodafone has promised when my initial order was placed as they have now expired and had to now wait for another 4weeks for the reorder to be activated with no benifits at all. By the way the customer agents were so rude on the calls even though vodafone has a 1 Star rating on all the review websites on internet. Its absolute time waste to opt for vodafone and if you still want to go ahead with then then its your wish and only god can save you....

Bunch of liars work there, confirmed delivery date but phone was not sent. I was told there is technical issues even though I followed up multiple times after order was placed, I was given false information by saying it was processed and would be delivered on time. Delivery turned the next day and found out in the receipt that order was only processed around closing of delivery promised date. I think the management should learn and teach their staffs about ethics and morale. After this contract ends will never use vodafone in future. As I was promised a call back from senior manager which never happened. Worse is call centre located in india - working ethics don't match at all.

Good offers but the worst services. I've been with Vodafone for 2 and a half years so far. They give you great deals, but then let you down. The customer service is the worst I've seen. I got a sim replacement and it took 4 days the get activated (which normally it should take max. 15 min). Further on, I am waiting for a proof of purchase for already 10 days, but I haven't got one and I am without a phone as is needed for my insurance company to be processed. Also, 1-2 weeks ago a £375 bill popped up in my account out of nowhere. I needed like 3 days to sort it out. There are many more other things on which I cannot remember.

Hello I would just like to let you know that I will no longer be paying my bill for contract with Vodafone ever since I started my contract with you over 2 years ago I have had nothing but problems from you .. Evrything from being over charged and reserving bad service I have also had some great people that have helped me so much with these on going problems I have to be honest there but unfortunately the bad problems and service that I have reserved outweigh the good one by a long shot ... when I 1st got the phone I was being overcharged then I was being blocked and cut off and having to ring up and get it unblocked most weeks just to be told it’s a problem your end I have spent many wasted hours on the phone to your team to never have a problem fixed or helped I have spent hours on the phone to your team being promised all these different things to help me with my problems with my phone to then get passed on to somone else’s and be told what the last person said was all rubbish and that you cannot help me there are many more problems like this that have haunted me throughout the duration of my time with Vodafone and it has caused me endless stress and anxiety issues the latest issue have made me realise that this is no longer with the stress and anxiety .. I called you guys and requested some more data and the nice lady sorted that out for me she asked me how long I want the extra data plan on my contract for and I said just this one off month please and she reassured me that i would only be charged the one month that was great until a few days in and all the data was taken away so I had to spend more time on the phone sorting that out .. to then find out I have been charged again that is the last straw Vodafone I have been fair with you and you as a company have not returned the favour all or The time I had to call you back I had to take time out of my working day to sort them out it’s the only time I have to do it ... I am a very disappointed and let down customer and I will not be paying my lady bill .. I have already payed off both of the phones that I have on the account they belong to me now and I will not be paying the remaining bill for either of them as I think this is a fair compensation for the bad survive I have reserved ... for such a grate company you have not trained your staff well enough because no 2 staff member say the same thing they all contradict each other some are great I have to be fair this was my 1st contract and you gave me the worst time ... I will never return to Vodafone again and I will advise any one that is thinking of using you to think otherwise and go for anyone else and just keep there wits about them

Very poor. Our broadband transfer was delayed then they lost our home phone number which we'd been promised we could keep. Took many long calls to sort it, but it was never properly sorted as the number had gone and could not be retrieved. Staff want to be helpful but are obv v limited in what they can do. Biggest bugbear: it says calls are free from Vodafone handset, but they still come out of your minutes allowance, so if you have to make multiple calls, insist they call you back. I didn't realise this till I got my bill. I'd been charged 25£ to sort out their mistakes. I would def not recommend. Once the service is up and running it works well, but when there's an issue, you just know it won't be quick.
