I've been with Vodafone for over twenty years as a contract customer, initially through my employer and later personally on a 'Sim only' deal. When I was offered a much cheaper and very similar deal with another supplier, I contacted Vodafone and asked if they could match it. After continually being given the run around over a period of weeks, they simply refused to answer the question, despite being passed to various departments. Therefore, I ended the matter, left and went elsewhere. Message her Vodafone, vastly improve and overhaul your Customer Services which are currently far from customer services, and stay competitive with other suppliers or your customers will do the same as I did and leave.

Of i could give 0 star I would ! Vodafone is one of the worst provider ever. Have been a customer for almost 4 years, I've always found my bills higher than expected! Once discussed to customers service regarding my bills they have found out that almost 200£ has been added to my bills without giving me any reason why! If I didn't try to understand my bill I would certainly had to pay the full amount ! Vodafone you are dishonest and thief ! Advice for all avoid being Vodafone customer !

I'd give a lower star rating if possible. I started a contract with them thinking they were reputable. However they would always add "late" payment fees to my bill even when I told them multiple times that it wasn't made available online because it isn't yet the bill due date. So basically I'm charged extra for paying my bill "late" when I'm paying it 2 days in advance. They're also no helpful if you call them, and when you speak to them on live chat they always promise to remove these charges but do f all. Now waiting for my contract to end so I can change to another network.

I give Vodafone 0 stars, it is dreadful, I feel sorry for any new customer, they have been talking so much money from me, my bill went from £35 to £160 just with a couple of phone calls, complete rip off. I am a very unhappy costumer and as soon as my contract is over I will be leaving Vodafone and finding a better company.

I had the worst experience with Vodafone. I had a contract over 2 years ago with them wich ended after 24 months in February. I was sent an email telling me in February i was to pay my final bill. I assumed this was the end of it, only to notice in May 31st I did not have enough money for my rent as Vodafone had been taking out bills for the last 3 months. After ringing them that day I was passed around to at least 8 different people after being promised by the first person due to the fact i was unaware of the fact you must cancel your contract 30 days before it is due to finish or you will keep getting charged. I thought this was great and was passed around until we found someone who could actually do this. They told me this would take 2-3 days which was too late for my rent due the next day. They then said get the money refunded immediately by the bank and we would look into it and sort the refund with the bank. I was delighted and got the money back from the bank absolutely no problem and was able to pay my rent. I then noticed an email from them on 21st June to say I owed them 4 months worth of bills. When I rang them up they denied that i was told i could get a refund and that due to terms and conditions i would not get my money back. I explained i had received an email in February saying it was my final bill they went to look for it and came back after a very long hold to say they conveniently couldn't find it so i had to pay them the money. he mentioned that i could pay the money over 3 or 4 months. After i told them this was unacceptable as i had already been told the refund was good to go they just quoted their term and conditions to me and refused to listen to my plight. They didn't have any sympathy for the fact I am a single mother who is scraping by and because of them I will now very possibly face living on the street due to being unable to pay rent or buy food for my 7 month old baby or myself. They had no care and said it was no fault of theirs. They went on to say they could take just 30 off the bill, which is not even one bills worth. I accepted as the guy wouldn't listen and said there was no-one else i could speak to. He then said did i want to set up a payment plan and i said yes because i knew i had no other choice. I was then asked for my card details and when i asked why they said they needed to take 3/4 of it today. I didn't have the money and with no way to get it they said the debt department would deal with it but refused to help e get in contact with that department. they said someone would be in contact somehow but he didn't know how or when it would be left. I was forced to leave it there and now have debt on my account simply because i was unaware i had to cancel my contract when it was finished. Please no-one go near them. They will mislead and lie to you to get money. They are cheats and liars and just terrible customer service all round.

Awful customer experience. You ask for one thing and you get something else. I called to get my phone disconnected before the contract expires and made sure it happens. But apparently he was too busy to make a simple note on the account. I am seriously furious !

I took out a two-year contract. After eight months they told me their monthly tariff would be increased which I thought would be a breach of the contract.. So I called them and asked to break my contract. They said I could not do that without penalty. So it seems they can break the contract but I cannot. Watch out at the beginning. They will give you a cheap deal to start with but check the data allowance which will be really low. After a couple of months they will tell you you are using too much data and they are going to charge you extra - a lot extra. You have been a sprat to catch a big fat mackerel. I think this goes under the heading of a con or a scam. Either way it's immoral. Don't use them.

Lies lies and more lies, that's what the staff at Vodafone are good at doing, they will tell you exactly what you want to hear, but it's not always the truth, to get a sale I was told the phone I was about to buy would work with wifi calling, so I bought it, it didn't work with wifi calling, I returned it, waited nearly 4 months for a refund after being told it would take 14 days, told I would owe nothing, I never received a bill but then found I had a mark on my credit score for £20, told I should not worry and pay the £20 and the mark would be removed and i'd get the £20 back, the mark is still there and i've given up trying to get the £20 back...I would't trust anything the staff at Vodafone says and personally I would not use Vodafone again.

I was charged an extra £200 on top of my network bill yesterday, this took me £200 over my credit limit with my bank as i only use this account for paying bills and pay into it as required. I called them at approx 9AM the next day as their help lines are not 24hrs and spent almost hour on the phone to them (at least 40 mins of that was spent on hold.) They admitted fault and agreed to return my £200 and to pay the charges they have incurred and to suitably compensate me for their incompetence/negligence but they said they would need to discus the matter with the customer relations team so asked if they could call me back later that day. I agreed to this but they never did, so i called them at 9am today and was told that the customer relations team would get back to me within 2-3hrs, once again they didn't bother. so i called them this evening, (They said they couldn't process the £200 the day before as the woman i was speaking to was having technical issues.. this is NOT what the woman had told me the day before so one of them has lied to me.) They have now processed the £200 so i will get that in 3-5 working days, initially they offered me nothing else so i voiced my unhappiness with how this was being handled and had to repeat to the lady on the phone what i was offered the day before. (Was that info not already on the system? if not then this is another case of incompetence if it was then i feel she was trying to cheat me!!) so she then offered me a £20 "goodwill credit" for the inconvenience and £20 in cash to cover the charges, i refused as the charges will be £6 per day plus £10 payment fee, so that will amount to 2 days already + the 3-5 working days +Sat & Sun. so that's 7-9 days before resolution which is £42-£54 + £10 Payment fee. so £20 is a bit of an insult really. i rejected that so they then offered me £30 credit and to take in a bank statement (at my own expense and the fact i won't receive it for a month) to prove the fact i have received the charges before they will reimburse me. At this point i had had enough and told them i would call them back with my decision. i called them back about an hour later with a counter proposal but the individual on the line said i had accepted the deal of £30 credit and to take my bank statements in once i had them. It was at this time that i asked to be put through to cancellations, but apparently they close at 8PM unlike the "helpdesk" which is open until 9PM. well since then i have been forced to bring my balance back into credit today by borrowing money from my partner as i need the account to pay money into for another bill later this week. this has now effectively left us £400 out of pocket between us (At least temporarily.) but will now mean i won't incur the additional fines to my account which now leaves me ineligible for any reasonable reimbursement/compensation/"goodwill" money from vodafone for this disgusting display of what they call customer service. So i am writing this review in an attempt to gain a small amount of solace that i can pass this information onto other potential customers so they won't fall into the same issue as me as their customer relations team at least in my eyes is VERY below acceptable.

Issues at every step of the upgrade process. I was about to move to a new network to get myself a better deal. Vodaphone's loyalty team offered a discount on the iPhone 6S, so I decided to stay put. Sales rep ok'ed everything with his manager and the order was placed for next day delivery. Great! Next day, phone didn't arrive. Called customer care and they had no record of the order or agreed discount. Wen't through the whole process again from the start and phone was scheduled for next day delivery. Again, no phone the following day. Called again only to be told the order had actually gone to head office to be manually added to their system due to a technical issue, but should be delivered on Tuesday (4 days later). Tuesday came and went with no delivery. Called again. After waiting in the queue, and going through security, I explained the scenario to their rep. Was put on hold while he checked some details, and was then put back into the queue without explanation. Next person picked up. They had no notes or information from the previous rep, and I had to go through the whole explanation again. This time I was informed that the agreed discount wasn't possible, despite being approved by a senior member of staff. Had to re-negotiate for half an hour before we finally settled on a new deal that was miles away from the first one, but fractionally better than their competition. Order was processed and scheduled for next-day delivery to my work address. Following morning, I got the delivery confirmation that my order was on it's way and a tracking link was provided. After checking the link, the delivery address was incorrect, despite the Vodaphone rep reading it back to me correctly. Had to call up again and modify the delivery address, which has offset the delivery date by another day. Should be delivered tomorrow, so here's hoping. ------ On the plus side, their coverage in the Bournemouth area is actually quite good. But the customer service leaves a lot to be desired :/

Worst company ever - how can it take five session lasting an hour each time and three resends of emails to deal with a minor query - which still hasn't been resolved over five weeks now. I am cancelling my phone and going with a new provider...most ridiculous, ineffective customer service ever.

I have unfortunately opened up a 2 year contract with Vodafone as they had a good deal for data. However the signal is so shocking I can never use any of that data anyway! When i checked the map it showed my area would have 4G coverage yet at home i get gprs and no phone signal most of the time. I travel for work and most places the signal or 4g coverage is pathetic. I was with three before and they were super fast with no issues! now i am stuck with a contract... I now understand why they could offer far more data per month than other packages, the coverage and signal is so terrible you can never really use much data anyway!

I have been with vodafone for quite a few years but now im afraid i must change networks, the coverage in my area is pathetic and always has been, i live in avillage just soutg of scunthorpe, a big village with a population of 5000 plus , and in this day and age i expect a half decent signal! But no, after making countless complaints at both the local shop, and the call centre there is no improvement. I have been payinv for 4g for over a year now but im lucky if i have one bar on the 2g network, i have been paying for a service i am not recieving! To be honest i would be happy if i was getting 3g, but no , so if you are thinking of changing to vodafone dont bother, they just want your money and are not interested in customers complaints, go to o2 they seem to be a lot better, and i think next week i will be joining them too!! Russell fox, dn17 3rs tel 07867800019!!!
