Absolutely disgusting service! Will use everything to wriggle out of a cost! I had a comprehensive plan with them and they wouldn't pay out despite all works covered! Would not recommend this company!

A RIP-OFF!! The slogan to get 'worry free motoring' and that 'you're getting the best, and most comprehensive cover possible - regardless of make, model and mileage of your vehicle' is simply not true. I have had a dreadful experience with this company since taking out an extended warranty plan in May 2020. They are very nice when offering the plan and taking your money but it is a different story when it comes to honouring a claim. I was told that the plan I was getting was the best and most comprehensive cover possible as per the slogan!! I am not surprised when new customers provide favourable reviews but that is before they try and claim!! I have had the most stressful experience in trying to claim for the cost of repair from a sudden breakdown of my car. My claim was rejected as their ‘independent vehicle examiner’ found no evidence of any sudden mechanical or electrical failure and that the faults were not confirmed. The cause of the sudden failure was diagnosed by the garage and the car manufacturer advised on the parts to be replaced. Incredibly the independent examiner, who was only present at the garage for about 10 minutes, was shown the old components but somehow could not confirm that there was a fault!! The car would not have been taken to a garage unless there was a sudden failure. I then had to engage in numerous telephone calls and a string of emails to pursue this claim but to no avail. All of this also resulted in my family not having access to a car for nearly three weeks with all the stress and inconvenience that entailed. I have now cancelled the extended plan but even that was not straight forward!! Unbelievably their initial refund calculation showed a deduction of £84 for the independent examiner inspection who then rejected my claim!!! I objected to this deduction and eventually they agreed to waiver this charge. They wanted me to pay for somebody to tell me that there had not been a sudden failure – unbelievable!!! I have since received an offer of a goodwill contribution to assist with the cost of the repairs but the plan would need to be reinstated for any financial contribution. I will not be reinstating the plan as I do not want to go through the stress and worry in dealing with this company again. I had copied the Quentin Willson email address into my last email to them but this has not been acknowledged or answered within 5 working days as stated in their Warranty Plan. It beggars belief how they can claim that they are ‘frequently recognised for a great product and service they provide’. My experience is a million miles away from that and I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are total scammers!!! Regardless of the policy you have, covering the breakdown, they will make up any reason they possibly can to avoid paying, they make it up as they go along. Do NOT trust them!!! A policy with this “outfit” is a complete waste of your money.

Shocking nightmare to deal with and wriggles out of any claim. My engine went bang 6 weeks into ownership, firstly they tried to suggest it hadn't been serviced, when I proved it have indeed been serviced correctly and on time, they then said its ware and tear, which, just like others have had, contradicts the garage and manufactures assessments. Just don't bother wasting your money on these people, and I took the Platinum plan too!

False engineer reports Contradicts Dealer and Manufacturer The company is a scam and not worth the paper its written on. Will not pay for the repair when I am totally covered but they are giving false engineer report to avoid paying when the Manufacturer and dealer has told them otherwise. My email to them and no reply since. Dear Sirs, Thank you for your recent communication. Having considered your engineers report and its finding I find it hard to believe your engineer could have come to such a conclusion without inspecting the vehicle by removing the necessary parts. For your information please see attached images provided by Volvo and the forwarded email below also form Volvo. The engineers at Volvo have confirmed the issue identified is not a result of "wear" but a result of sudden failure of a mechanical component. In the event this part failed it would cause a shut down of the vehicle as it did at the time the incident occurred and I required emergency recovery. Your allegations the part was faulty at the time I took the policy are completely unfounded, it would not be possible to drive anywhere in the event the part was found to be faulty some 3000 miles ago. As result of the Volvo report and as evidenced in the enclosed images the "engineer" report you have provided seems to be some what of a guess as to the fault, I would have expected the engineer to provide a detailed report to confirm the fault not a guess. Volvo have confirmed the engineer attended the premises and spent around 7-10 minutes to identify the problem, the process used to identify the problem as witnessed by Volvo was "drove the car in circles" and then "glanced under the car", this to me does not sound like the correct way a diagnoses should be conducted. To conclude Volvo (Hatfield) have now repaired the vehicle as your service standard fell short of what one would expect. Your "engineer" report and the way you have conducted yourself throughout this process has left me feeling disappointed with the service I have received. It has also become clear you are not willing to accept that a warranty for a vehicle is taken out to ensure such incidents are covered. I also feel as a organisation your initial attempts are to get away with paying noting and to sell an insurance policy which is not worth the paper its written on, I feel I should also make other consumers aware of the sub standard service I have received. REPLY TO YOUR REPLY ON MY REVIEW Again you give false information as there has been no independent engineer that has given a report. On both occasions the same engineer employed by warrantywise wise came and made the same report. According to law an independent engineer means both side have to agree on the independent engineer, not you sending out the same engineer either working or contracted by warrentywise. The courts will decide when I take the matter futher.

Pointless. Don’t waste money on warranty. Refused to pay for the repair although paying £1200 approximately for the 2017 year low million car with all the services done by main dealership. Not helpful at all . Cancelling the policy

Pointless warranty. Rejected claim as “part not covered”. The list of covered items specifies Turbo is covered, this part was a Turbo pressure regulator which is part of the turbo, but not according to warrantywise. Waste of money and time

Made a claim recently for my Mercedes and was surprised at how quickly Warranty wise dealt with my claim - over the Christmas period too! Everything was authorised and sorted directly with the garage. Glad I decided to get the cover, I nearly didn't.

My first claim was handled in a matter of hours-received, reviewed, accessed and approved so I could go back to approved garage to repair my car promptly. I was really impressed by the whole process. The cheque arrived in a couple of days too and reinforced my first impression of Warranty Wise as a quick and efficient company. The agents were all very polite and professional and gave me quick updates at every stage of my query. I would definitely recommend Warranty Wise to anyone considering buying a used car insurance. I purchased a vehicle from a dealer that issued a 6 months warranty purchased from Warranty Wise, in its 3rd month it developed a fault, I contacted Warranty Wise and they insisted that the car be checked by a reputable garage and that the garage must ring them for authorisation before carrying out the repair. The garage found that the ignition coil was faulty and requested authorisation from Warranty Wise - they refused to pay stating that the dealer purchased cover is the cheapest and it does not cover replacement of the faulty iginition coil!!! The garage also could not believe it! To cut a long story short - I ended up paying for the repairs and in addition also for the 'diagnostics result' that Warranty Wise requested! DOUBLE WAMMY!!! These are nothing but 'Conmen' and 'scammers' issuing repair warranties not worth the paper they are written on!
