Absolutely shocking customer service from Wickes. They mis sold me a work top leading me to believe it was something its not, and did not tell me anything or provide me with any information about its high level of care. I was lead to believe pre Xmas I was going to be given options to resolve and over come my issues and now they have completely back tracked. They have admitted their designer can't remember the conversation, which actually means he can and knows he has done wrong. This was from the Brentwood store so avoid at all costs. I am shocked and appalled that they can take customers money, call them liars and totally disregard what is a very stressful and costly situation. I am so upset and angry how I have been treated, they had plenty of opportunities to over come this and I have had nothing but disgusting service. Bad Bad times Wickes you can do better than this!

Ordered a kitchen from the Rushden store and it is all in and I couldn’t fault the designer and the fitting team. Everything was organised from top to bottom, well floor to ceiling so I could relax. I have recommended to family and friends because I love it so much

Orderd some bits online to build a little green house in the garden some wood screws some fenc staples and some pvc green fence. Orderd for next day delivery. The next day and only the timber turns up thought that was a bit weird and whats that smell of cannabis from the driver he might of eaten it because of the munchiws that would explain it but I received a text and email to say it would all be with me that day so I ring in to be told that because the screws I orderd were not in stock in there ware house they could not send out the rest unless I had a refund for the screws. That was a bit strange as if I whent to any of their shops they have them in stock any way refunded the screws and delivery charge and was told the rest would be with me the day after. I get a text in the morning saying it will be with me by 12 no delivery ring in to be told by 1pm still no delivery ring back in and they say there is no update. Delivery turns up at 2.30pm but I'm missing the fencing ring back up to be told there is a glitch or something and the drivers did not hand it to each other computer says no comes to mind. So I aske for a refund and he says OK will take 3 to 5 working days. But I never received an email so I rung back to be told the refund will take up to 14 days absulousty disgusting service so I am 2 days out of work waiting. For delivery's that never turned up and miss informed and lied to Trustpilot Choose country United Kingdom About About Jobs Contact Blog Press Community Trust in reviews Support Center Log in Sign up Chrome App Businesses Trustpilot Business Products Plans & Pricing Business Login Follow us on Privacy Policy Terms & Conditions User Guidelines System status © 2020 Trustpilot A/S. Absolutely appalling service: a simple click and collect transaction. From the point of being served to receiving the item: 20 minutes. The store was not busy. Situation got bad to worse when a person in charge got involved, and the aggressive manner in which he dealt with me, left me shaking as I left the store. I have made a formal complaint to Wickes Head Office: no customer should be treated in that aggressive manner. I have not named "the person in charge" but Wickes Head Office are aware of who I am referring to.

Do not buy a kitchen from Wickes unless you have your own Installer. As all previous reviewers have mentioned once you have paid to have one installed the problems start. The TV adverts are an "embarrassment " and would Wickes Staff really like to be treated the way the general public are? I don't think so. There is no Expert service & support and certainly install your kitchen as fast as possible with no care or attention to detail. Give your local business a try you may be pleasantly surprised.

My star rating would have been zero but I had to put one in order to write a review. The process started OK, the staff at Wickes in Baildon were helpful and pleasant. The problems started when the AluSplash splashbacks were fitted. The fitters had no idea whatever how to fit it properly, and it looked poor with the edging strips fitted the wrong way round. It also brought to light that the wall cupboards had been fitted far too high and after a few days lots of the trims fell off together with a blanking panel. It also showed up that the remedial work done on the walls prior to fitting had not been done correctly round the window so it was impossible to fit the splash back round the window and fit a window sill. also the overhead cupboards over the breakfast bar started to shift when anything (mainly glasses) were put in them so the glass doors were very badly out of line. I managed to get a visit from the so called Installation manager who also had no idea how to fit the splash backs, he also tried to adjust the glass doors to no avail only damaging one of the end panels, in fact he appeared to know very little. The fitting instructions for the splash backs are plainly available from the manufacturer and also on U tube and even I could understand them. He didn't even know that the edge trims that are used for the corners round areas such as the window frame were available, he said they weren't. After that I heard nothing, I made complaints almost every day to various departments to try and get something done, and while the people who took the calls appeared to want to help nothing happened. In effect they had got their money and couldn't care less. eventually I resorted to emailing the CEO of Wickes and something started to get done. It was eventually rectified by two somewhat older fitters who had to do a lot of remedial work to get it into a reasonable condition. All this took around six months during which time it was impossible to use the kitchen other than cook meals and we were basically camping out in the living room which at my age is not very good and we found it was very stressful. While the quality of the kitchen seems reasonable the problem was with the incompetent fitters employed by Wickes . Also Wickes senior management don't appear to give a damn once they have got your money. Lets face it over six months to fit a kitchen is not remotely acceptable. I certainly would not recommend Wickes to change a door handle never mind a kitchen. While the adverts say you "should have gone to Specsavers for glasses" I should have gone to B&Q for a kitchen.

Destroyed My Bathroom Negligence Company Wicks destroyed my bathroom costing £7000 with negligence workmanship. There will now now answer my calls and I have wrote a letter to their head office to CEO David Wood. All the workmanship is negligence and when I complaint I was told "The plan photo provided by the store is for illustration purposes only". Tiles are not straight, workmanship is poor, plastering is negligence. Moreover, they will not come and fix the problems.

Another dissatisfied customer. The bathroom fitting was a bodged job from start to finish. Despite water coming through the ceiling and numerous additional plumbing problems that didn't exist before the job commenced, Wickes have sent me a threatening letter as I have not paid the fitter the balance and have refused to sign the completion paperwork.

23 months ago we made the biggest mistake possible and ordered a Wickes Kitchen! The fitters, Andrew Cooper and Andrew Smith of Cooper JOINERY in Weymouth were supplied by Wickes. They turned up when they felt like it, left our house and especially the kitchen in an unusable state for over 3 weeks. The workmanship was amateurish. They damaged our property! Tiled up to a door so it wouldn't open, I had to remove the door myself to get into the kitchen! We had 4 pages (A4) of issues! They lied and were threatening and abusive when I refused to sign their "completion" paperwork They were also Fraudulent! I have evidence!! Wickes's Customer Service were absolutely useless!! They lie, break promises and deliberately make matters worse!! The Wickes Installation Manager, Mark Bond, turned up smelling of Alcohol and could see no problems (despite the 4 pages of A4 listing the faults), probably due to blurred vision! He accused me of assaulting the Wickes electrician. Then told someone that he lied!! He is renowned for bullying and threatening customers who complain! Again I have evidence!! The Wickes Regional Manager agreed there were significant issues! Yet it took months to get some of them addressed. I had to constantly chase as contact was pretty much 1 way!! We are still left with major issues which Wickes fail to deal with!! The designer came and was apologetic for the poor workmanship, yet did NOTHING!! He said Customer Services would sort it out!! Mind you he wasn't capable of checking whether the kitchen was square!!! I had to show him how to do it, basic maths, but then he is a kitchen designer so probably measuring and maths are not his speciality!!! We had taken out "Interest free credit", yet despite us NOT signing any completion paperwork because it was incorrect, incomplete and Fraudulently completed by the fitters, Wickes notified Hitachi Finance we had and were satisfied with the kitchen!!! We have STILL NOT signed any paperwork, yet have had to pay for a totally abysmal Kitchen installation. I wrote on 2 occasions to the Head of Customer Services and received no reply from him. I wrote to Wickes CEO who forwarded the letter to one of the people I was complaining about!!! DO NOT USE Wickes!! I, and hundreds of other people have had poor Kitchen Installations, and cannot get satisfaction! Wickes Customer Service is atrocious and also Fraudulent!! Don't buy a kitchen from Wickes!!!

The stores don't even have simple things like light bulbs. When asking if they had a certain type (gu5.3) was told they don't stock then anymore as halogen lights are against the law now. When I pointed out that this was the fitting type was told no your wrong it's against the law. Never use them for big stuff ever - now you can't even use them light bulbs.

went into wickes (Oldham Store) just after xmas to see about someone coming out to measure my kitchen and do me a design. was told nobody available then just to leave my number and someone would (hopefully) get intouch. nobody did.....i then went online and requested for someone to come out and they were on it right away! a lady visited my home, measured up and left. i called into the store for the design and cost. they never even offered me a drink i had to ask for one. the lady didnt seem too clued up on design and i had to basically tell her what would work. she wouldn't give me the design at the end of the chat so i had nothing to go on and have totally forgot what she designed so not a very good service. i didnt want the measurements just the design but she said no, so i'm saying NO to your custom. i will go elsewhere and know what i am getting

I would like to share my lovely experience at Wickes-Worthing branch. Me and my friend were browsing in the kitchen & bathroom showroom of Worthing branch and we were promptly approached with a smile on his face by a design consultant Zed. He was very professional and had an excellent product knowledge. He was also helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome in your store. We are looking forward to coming back!

Got to be the worst company I've ever dealt with. Buy from them at your own peril. If you value your mental health, your time, your well-being then please heed the advice of so many on here. There are MUCH better companies out there that offer MUCH better products, MUCH better service and MUCH better customer service. Wickes fail in all 3 of these areas and do not accept any blame when problems arise. They do not recognise consumer law or what it requires of them as a retailer and even if they admit (after much badgering) that they are wrong, they will still make it impossible for you to get a refund unless you jump through hoops for them. You'll be left either out of pocket or (if you have the strength to carry on) having to take them to court for a refund. Buyer beware! There's a Facebook group purely for disgruntled Wickes customers. If their company was any good, why would there be a need for hundreds of customers to go there to vent and ask for help? What's even worse and more shocking is that they know about this group and instead of using it to resolve issues, they use it to threaten and intimidate customers into removing comments and thereby attempting to deny you your right to free speech. They are hateful and they don't care about their customers - please don't fool yourselves into thinking they do!

Totally rubbish delivery service. They tell you the evening before of you're going to get your delivery in the morning or afternoon and then only give you a 5 hour time slot. So you can't plan ahead and you have too wait half a day! Never going to use this company again!

I would never use Wickes again , The fitter they provided ,even though they knew there was damp, did not schedule me in for a block of fitting so I had odd people coming in and out and many of the things I had to ask to be re done. The tiling in many areas, grout missing, the bath panels - one cracked, one cut badly. The job took almost two months to complete. Would never use Wickes again. Obviously some fitters they 'employ' might be better but you do not know who you would get so not worth the risk. i also felt threatened by the fitter to sign paperwork as finished when it obviously was not. I have never signed this paperwork so I wonder if he did and that is how he got his money from Wickes - all very disappointing.

If you want to give yourself a huge amount of hassle then use Wickes installation. It is expensive as the fitters will come in and ask for the maximum on top of the installation price Wickes ask for, regardless of what extra work is involved, that is an extra £2400 on kitchens and £1700 on bathrooms. If the work was of a high standard that might be acceptable but it isn’t. Six months on and we are still waiting for a resolution to a problem. My friend got a much deal from Wrens.

I wish i had read these reviews before i purchased my kitchen from Wickes Sheffield, the aftercare is beyond poor . After delays ,supply chain problems, terrible communication and shoddy products they turned a 3 week job into 4 months of disruption. We are still unresolved.
