Terrible customer service, Wickes have really gone down hill since they have lost their own delivery drivers and Clueless and Collect... We have been let down 4 times for delivery from Maidstone and are still waiting! Poor excuses, blatant lies from the staff and now its not coming because the advice was not printed!! Clueless and Collect is just as bad, order a 90deg gutter bend, get a 110deg downpipe bend. Order 50mm insulation, go to collect and they have selected 25mm and are still offering the 50mm up for sale despite having none in stock. Its not suprising because after visiting Maidstone the guttering parts were in the wrong place, seems like the staff are either incompetent or just cant be bothered. Come on Wickes. Its got your name on it so sort it out!

Paint machine never works,all decorating tools are now something you would buy from a pound shop,and there are just no staff. As a decorator I used to use Wickes a lot but now only when desperate and always leave frustrated. Its basically now focused on selling tat to the naive DIYer.

Absolutely shocking service in store ! And even worse deliver ! When called to find out where the delivery was ( 4 hours late ) got the attitude of it is what is ! Will not be using again

ordered a toilet, a bath and a ele shower 10 days ago and booked the delivery. However, noone turned up on the delivery day and no message and no call. We tried numerous time to contact company and the shop and been told there is no stock!!! Shouldn't they tell us long time ago?

My elderly mother ordered a kitchen, it took 3 monts to fit, once fitted the standard of work was terrible. Wonky plug sockets, uneven tiling and the fitter "Jay" just laid the new floor on top of the old one. Didnt even bother taking te old floor up. My mother not long after passed away, probably due to the fact of the stress an elderly women without a working kitchen for months would bring. The way they have handled things afterwards is even worse. My advice. avoid, avoid, avoid. They have ruined my life for the past two years.

Delivering our bathroom furniture turned in to a night mare, firstly we where told we could arrange delivery for £25 which we did, we where then told that we couldn't have this (after we paid) due to ordering on finance (WTF) This took a week to sort out!!! Once the furniture FINALLY got delivered the drivers accidentally hit our ceiling and caused substantial damage to the plaster. These things happen Why has it taken 13 weeks AND Counting to arrange the compensation to sort this issue out WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER why is their no 0 out of 5 option !!!

I placed an order with Wickes for some timber. The money was taken off the credit card. After a few days as I hadn't received confirmation I contacted Wickes who told me that the order was lost somewhere in the system and they would contact IT. I cannot cancel because the order even though they can see it is lost. I cannot get a refund even though they have the money, they say they haven't, and IT have done nothing! Next step Credit Card company and never buy again from Wickes.

just terrible. kitchen delivery missing items and tiles not even on the order. tried to order them and the website can't even process my order....wickes are a joke.

Several items were missing so the fitter was unable to complete the works. It two weeks and I am still waiting for delivery of the missing item. I have no bath in my house so have to go to friends and relatives to bath/shower. Unbelievably poor customer service

The online customer service is a disgrace. I ordered £350-400 worth of goods and I had all sorts of issues. I discovered a few weeks later that 1 product was damaged but when contacting Wickes customer service, they said I'd passed the 30 days in which to report a fault. Nowhere does it mention 30 days. I placed the order over the phone (no mention of 30 days) and I never got a receipt for my goods sent out to me (nothing in writing to mention 30 days). I spoke to my local store who knew nothing about 30 days and they said you have 6 months to bring anything back to store but your statutory rights are 12 months. I had to email the managing director to get my issue resolved. The online email address for queries/complaints is a total disgrace. They are slow to respond and are dismissive.

Poor customer service. Poor communication. No accountability nor transparency. This goes up to senior management level. Total disregard of their customer's plight. Wickes has left us with no cooking facilities for 2 months now and we have to wait 6 weeks for them to do remedial works to a botched kitchen installation by one of their best and trusted 'Wickes approved' installers and expected us to bear the costs of the repairs! After persistent phone calls and emails they have verbally agreed to start work on the 5th June. They have shown no concern nor empathy towards their consumers. Up to now we have recieved no formal letters or emails from them! Not even an apology! Called customer services today they don't even have a record of the complaint I filed witg them more than 2 weeks ago! Wickes have just lose a valued customer and I hope others will be more wary when they're taking their business to them.

3 bathroom refurbishments Not delivered 3 radiators, I loo, 2 cupboard doors, 2 cistern fronts, I tower cupboard, 1 piece of vital supporting structure Delivered faulty not discovered til installed I extractor fan, 1 electric shower, 1broken LED mirror Delivery problems New LED mirror delivered turned out to be a cupboard Bath panel had to be delivered 3 times Pieces missed off delivery had to be delivered at later date Planning faults No supporting bar for large glass partition between shower and loo; what I expected to be a mirror was a mirrored cupboard too big; Bi fold door to 2nd shower too big -whilst away (job now 1 week over) single door fitted -hits loo when opened. Door Had to be sourced and replaced Payed £140 for 2 ceilings to be Painted -at best first undercoat at worse rubbish job Expected times scale for completion 3-4 weeks Finished 61/2 weeks Job complete! Oh now water is coming through kitchen ceiling

Put a click and collect order in. It accepted payment. Got no confirmation.Tried again. Same thing. Accepted payment. 3rd time accepted but then said not enough stock despite having 1 on the list. Called 0330 and got charged despite Wickes website saying all providers will not charge but to check with provider anyway. YOU WILL BE CHARGED!!! The returns and refunds webpage gives an 0800 number - but then it says on calling this numbers is not only NOT IN USE but it gets a lot of calls. Great information but SO WHAT !!! It gets calls because it is STILL on their useless website. So the store I ordered it delivered to can also not help, so wasted time and petrol there too. Tried over a 3 day period. Their site goes into self protect mode and comes up with a 404 error then a 500 error then just not available as your IP address goes on the "naughty list". As with many suppliers - no better than they want to be.

Ordered some internal doors. They are cheap and look good but made from 100% chocolate. Custer service appalling. Will avoid next time.

I ordered some feather edge fencing, boards, gravel boards and Arris rails, they delivered the next day everything but the Arris rails stating they would following the next day, that was 3 months ago, I had to go through the furniture ombudsman and trading standards to get them to finally collect what they had delivered after asking for a refund, now I am having to go through my credit card company to get my money refunded, the contempt this com-any has for is customers seems to be limitless

I'm a regular customer of wickes Chadwellheath.i have always work going on as I'm in property Bussiness.i wanted to exchange few items which staff member was happy to do.than suddenly a very rude & bad manner gentleman came pointing his finger to me by raising his voleum( what a bad luck for wickes that he is the branch manager 'TONY MATTHEWS ' And what a shame for him he start telling me non stop things without even listening to me what the matters is or what I want .i don't know how he deserve this post where the person even don't know how to speak with customer.( or talk on side ) i haven't said a single word to him as the other staff members & customers were in que. I wish if there was a zero star option.will never recommend this store

What went right? Ordered 35 boxes of tiles online with a specified delivery date. The date came and went. Husband took a days holiday to be home to accept delivery. It didn't arrive. In the meantime no telephone call, text or email apologising and telling us why they had not been delivered. After three chase up calls being passed around and a fax to Hinckley store was lied to by the manager Frank saying they were coming out by courier the following day. They never arrived. Customer service is absolutely appalling. We still don't have our tiles and the manager is now ignoring all our calls. DONT USE WICKES UNLESS YOU CAN COLLECT YOUR GOODS FROM THE STORE AND YOU SEE THEM IN STOCK. Wouldn't even give them one star out of five but had to to write this review.
