Bought items online, only partially delivered and customer service cannot do anything about it. Customer service were unable to reschedule the delivery or refund it until they got confirmation from the shop that the items hadn't been delivered. I have no confidence that this is going to happen, this is the same shop that had cancelled a delivery previously without letting me know. The same shop that is not picking up the phone. So, right now, I'm over £200 out of pocket, don't have the materials to do the work but have to spend another £200 to get the work going. If I had to do this again, I wouldn't buy the materials online as it seems that the shops in charge of deliveries are not really set up for it.

customer service is practically non existent. lucky I suppose I got a refund what a joke they haven't refunded the delivery charge wouldn't mind if there had been a delivery. so back to customer services I hope to hear in another months time I expect. if this is how they run a company how do they expect to get customers. after reading all the bad reviews you'd at least think the CEO would be asking what the hell is going on. Oh don't be daft hes sitting in his ivory tower collecting his thousands each week without even bothering about customers.

When I first started looking at french doors, there was plenty of companies on Ebay for 5ft Grey French doors and they were £80 cheaper than Wickes, however their estimated delivery date was the the 15th until 29th June which was of no use to me as this was 6 weeks away worst case....so I paid the extra £80 as there was no notification on the wicked website any delays ...it just said in green writing delivery within 14 days. So I placed the order on the 17th May hoping to receive them by the 31st May, when I heard nothing at all I contacted Wickes on 1st June, and was told someone would get back to me...they didn't :( ...so I contacted again a couple of days later to which I was told the manufacturer had informed them that the delivery would be the week commencing the 15th June, now obviously I was not happy about that as it wasn't what I was promised and the fact that I had to keep chasing Wickes instead of them keeping me fully informed. But it was in fact the case and at least I now had a date....on the 15th June I received an email from the Delivery company , asking me to book my delivery date and the nearest date I could get was for the 22nd June....now another week added to the dates!!! Again not happy but now I had a definite date as I had a delivery booked in. Then today I received a "courtesy" call from the manufacturer explaining that the stock was not available for me on the 22nd June but in fact it would now be the following week of the 29th June, but couldn't promise this and couldn't give me date from the week commencing the 29th. I told her I was not happy at all with the situation and that I had seriously been messed about, I explained that I had a workman booked in as I had a booked in delivery...I was told by the manufacturer that I should NOT have done that without confirmation but surely booking in the delivery is confirmation. I was then told by the manufacturer that it is not a confirmed booking if I haven't heard from the courier but I had booked it in with the courier...she was completely contradictory and I am most unhappy with the situation. I then called Wickes, and what another mistake that was...I have screenshot how long I was on the phone trying to sort this situation and in all I was on the phone for 1hour 15 minutes and then to my dismay I find out I have been charged 35pence per minute which works out at £26, and that is only todays phone call, this shouldn't happen to good honest genuine customers...I have had to do all the chasing not once have Wickes contacted e with an update and so I can only assume that I have paid in excess of £50 in phone calls....£80 extra on top of the french doors, on top of all this I had to pay the workman as he has lost a days wages Then I had a message from a manager acknowledging my complaint and said he worked on behalf of the CEO David Wood and he was undertaking my complaint but that was 5 days ago and not heard anything since which tbh I feel I have been more than patient but I have literally come to the end of my patience

One star as cannot give zero. Best avoid dealing with this company if you can. Ordered and paid for a number of items weeks ago. All items needed to complete planned project. Last minute e mail day before delivery due to say some items not available BUT same items still show on website as available and available for next day delivery!! Unable to discuss as phones (yes I do mean phoneS) not answered - forget holding on 40 minutes it's a waste of time. Wish I had read reviews before placing order. Really, if you have a choice avoid using this company.

Kitchen designer planned the kitchen so that the dishwasher door would not open properly as it could not get past the oven door handles. We realised this at the point of fitting so had to move the position of the oven which meant changing cupboards etc. When I went in to the branch to see the 'said' designer he had the cheek to try and charge me for the new pieces needed and said he hand never made a mistake before then proceeded. Needless to say I did not pay a penny. Now 18 months on I have already had the worktop replaced due to staining, the lacquer on the door handles is peeling and the paint on the door cupboards is fading. DO NOT purchase a Wickes kitchen, their customer service is dreadful, they do not take responsibility and the standard of the materials used is appalling.

Really poor service - Internet order was only partially delivered. I have tried to contact them to find out what is happening but been unable to do so. They have stopped replying to any customer service emails and they don't answer their phones. I have tried calling 4 times and spent more than 106 minute on hold and not actually spoken to anyone. Tried to raise a complaint but again they are not answering their phone. Really poor customer experience!!

Put in a order for timber and decking at beginning of May,told it would be delivered on 12th June,got a phone call from Stockport branch day before it was due saying the order was incomplete. They said they are receiving deliveries regularly so would contact me as soon as items are available, I am still waiting and what's more annoying is my online account order history as this purchase as complete!!!! I finally got hold of a customer services adviser who couldn't tell me anything about the status of my order but they would get somebody from the store to ring me,still waiting and when I ring the store nobody is answering. This is not acceptable behaviour by any company and I recommend you don't buy anything from them.

Placed order 29/05/20 to be delivered 16/06/20 received call 15/06/20 to say sorry but items were out of stock delivery would now be 18/06/20 but this did not happen. Waited til 19/06/20 then tried to contact customer services. I also e-mailed them and got reply that they weren’t accepting new e-mails as they were sorting previous ones. Eventually after several attempts over the weekend we got through to customer services who said that they would sort out what was going on and contact me the same day with an explanation,this didn’t happen. Today 22/06/20 I managed to get through again and spoke to Maria who after a short while enlightened me that the local store manager had not only cancelled my order without notifying me but hadn’t even refunded my money. She apologised for this and arranged a refund then said if I wanted to I could place the order again but the same thing would most likely happen again. I said what’s the point and it would be the last time I dealt with Wickes to which she said I don’t blame you. I hope this is a warning to everyone not to trust what they promise.

Delivery although text received confirming delivery by 19:00 it was not delivered it is now 3 days later without any further update. Rang Customer services only to hear pre-recorded message it could take 90 minutes to answer. Rang the store 12 times over 3 days with no answer. Attempted to email customer service mailbox does not allow incoming emails. This is the worst customer experience I have ever come across, I will never use this company again

ITEM ORDERED - NOT DELIVERED - NO RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICES - AVOID THIS COMPANY Despite promising to deliver items on the 22 May 20, I have still not yet received them, despite numerous attempts to contact customer services via chat,email and telephone. They even had the brass neck to ask for a review today on the promised items! I have now filed for my money back through my credit card supplier.

Totally ignotant and arogant staff. Exeter store. Pre order could not be found as I was in a guest checkout and basically the delays were my fault. Staff slow and arogant ignoring what was being said. No masks being worn. They frankly dont value our custom and in future I will shop elswere and told them so. I hope they both are dismissed.

Placed an order over two weeks ago and still not received it. Cannot get through to Wickes Customer Services today 20 June. In case anyone from customer complaints read this my order no is 497633887. The telephone line is a joke! If companies cannot offer a service then they should not be open! I have sent an email today will wait and see how long it takes for a response. CPM

Appalled by the lack of professionalism. I made multiple click and collect orders yesterday and advised it should take 4hrs. 6hrs later and 3 of the 4 were ready to collect. I figured I would make my way in and see if it was ready. To start what was ready was incorrect and with a lack of enthusiasm, it was rectified. I asked if I could get a rough eta on the last order and was told I will get an email. I said I wouldn't need any of the current order until I had the sheets and would collect as one. One of the staff members proceeded to tell another that I wasted her time. If the initial order was correct, no time would of been wasted. 4hrs after the alleged 4hr ready time, the email came through and an hr before closing. I called in to cancel and again received poor customer service. Will never use Wickes again.

very rude and obstructive customer service female assistants. Very polite and helpful young man assistant. I realise it's a challenging time but the young man managed to handle things very well, but the females did not. wouldn't use again.

Delivered the wrong item. Their customer services email address does not accept emails and their customer service tel number does not connect to anything. Useless scum. Don't use them.

Rubbish non existent customer support. Never received any confirmation on my order. Took payment through PayPal instantly. No idea when or if my order will arrive. Purchased with next day delivery. Over a week now. Calling is a joke, either on hold for an eternity, so give up, or constantly engaged. Should tell you all when a company has no email support. What century is this place in ? Do not buy online from this shambles of a company. Only check out their understocked stores if you must.
