You are sending my delivery to the wrong address and nobody will respond to me trying to sort it out, customer service is non existent. I keep getting spammed from your live chat helpers, nobody will pick up the phone or answer an email. I have just spent £93 on a freebie for some random person to receive on the other side of the country. I know times are rushed but come on!!! Stop taking orders if you can't handle them in a professional manner.

Appalling Ordered bedding online. Monday 13 April. One item was the following - Argos Home Supersoft Mattress Topper - Double225/5310 - when this eventually turned up with four other items, I noticed after the driver had left, that the plastic bag was torn, and the mattress topper filthy. Impossible getting through to Argos by phone or email. And, the double mattress topper is more like a single. It is thin as a pin, really cheap and tacky quality. Refunds look impossible to come by. So I have washed the item in the washing machine. Never again would I purchase anything from Argos or recommend them to anyone. Their customer service is non existent. It’s appalling. Feel sorry for the delivery drivers. And I waited five hours for the delivery with no email or text from Argos advising me of when they were going to show up. Have spent around 60 mins trying to get through. No stars. Order number 1566589513

Ordered two items- one arrived by door (delivery driver didn’t bother to knock) but one item is missing. Been on hold for 40 minutes so far. If you can’t keep to delivery time scales due to the pandemic then don’t bother accepting orders. It’s not fair on customers and is a complete waste of time. An absolute joke.

I am really disappointed with Argos staff in Argos Hedon Sainsbury who was very obstructive and aggressive, I went twice to collect my order and I couldn't because first time I lost my Argos card which I used to make the order, I contacted Argos card and they advised to order new card and wait till it comes and use it to collect my order, I followed their advice and went after receiving my new card but the staff there was very obstructive and said I still can't collect my order as this isn't the same card, I explained what happened and that was Argos card customer service advice, and the new card is for the same Argos account. Being a doctor in NHS in the current crisis I really don't have the time or the effort to argue and struggle that much just to collect my order, that was really frustrating to push me to cancel the order which I waited for 2 weeks just to collect.

Ordered some items, the first delivery attempt failed, and we never received a redelivery. Tried to get thru to customer service by live chat or phone but never succeeded. The order detail page always shows that there are 29 deliveries before ours. Not sure if we could get a refund cuz we don’t expect it to arrive anyway.

Ordered something, had window for delivery. Now pretty past that time. Wouldn't be issue if had nothing else to be doing but wait for it. Absolutely no way of getting any confirmation if it's actually on its way and to wait or if there's been a mistake and it's not actually on its way. All telephone lines on auto speech and then get cut off. Surely if we get a text to give a time and the drivers had delays (fully understand it happens) then the system should be able to automatically text us that they will be a delay. Nope. Sat here canceling work not sure if it's coming or not. Ta.

I ordered an item online for home delivery. Got a text that delivery was being made last night. Its not there. Can't get through on phone. Sent them a messenger message, no response. Online tracking tells me to phone. No thanks I waited over 15 mins for no response. I'm going to order elsewhere and reclaim refund from PayPal or Argos when it opens again. Whole I understand the covid thing, do not say you can deliver if you can't. Appalling.

Placed my order 25 March and paid express delivery. 3 items totalling £250. Order said it was out for delivery then didn’t arrive. Then it said I returned it and reordered it, I didn’t!. Then the reorder was scheduled for a week later. I get a notification saying it is out for delivery 4 hours after it was due and nothing arrived. It then said it’s been delivered. Now what am I supposed to do. Return the items to get a refund? Nope can’t do that. Tried calling, it’s a premium rate number which they don’t let ring until they pick up, they automatically answer it and then keep you on hold charging you for the call. Something is very broken at Argos. Stay away.

I booked a delivery slot for Saturday 11th April between 7am & 1pm. Parcel did not arrive, no communication from Argos to explain why, online chat not working, cannot get through on phone lines. Difficult times for everyone, but don't offer what you can't deliver, literally.

Tina from the Welwyn garden city Argos is such a waste of time her being in store no help at all very rude didn’t what to help such a waste of time will probably not be ordering again with how rude she was as had a order that was faulty what’s the point saying it’s contaminated when she would of touched it anyway so it goes against what she says so really why are Argos saying this when it would be from the start the workes bring it out do they say this so the company’s profits look good in this time.

Taking money and not delivering the goods, paid for express 7am till 1 pm If you or I did that it’s classed as theft ! So sad that this company fails where others are excelling , no phone calls, no emails , cannot get through on telephone, I assume it’s because of the high lack of service or response. It’s tough times for us all but don’t advertise what you cannot deliver and expect every customer to now down to you Sort yourselves out

I ordered a package from Argos around March initially being told it would arrive within 7 days. It did not arrive. In the meantime the item had come back in stock elsewhere and I had ordered the same item and subsequently rang to asked to cancel the Argos order. I was told my an employee on the phone it was dispatched and I should accept the order and then return it when stores opened again and have 30 days to do so. (IF I was updated with the order of my parcel I would have never made another order in the first place.) I receive the package this morning from Argos and it is evident that the box had been clearly opened and tampered with as there are creases all over the box and no seal. I call Argos immediately to notify them of this and queried whether it would affect my rights to return the item. The employee then said that Argos staff sometimes are required to open packages to inspect the item to check it is ok, but he then went on to tell me that I may not be able to return it and they need to inspect the item and box when I take it back. WHY would you therefore open these packages knowing very well that you may not accept a return as the box has been tampered with, when the staff are the ones who are opening these boxes themselves. I am now stuck with a very expensive order I may not be able to return because of a ridiculously flawed policy that needs to be reviewed ASAP.

Ordered a printer almost 2 weeks ago, it never arrived. I have waited another week and I have had no confirmation to say its coming today so I guess it won't arrive. Spend over 3 hours trying to get thru to them last week, cannot face another round of trying. I should have just got my money back and ordered from Amazon. Do not waste you time.

Ordered sofa last Tuesday got a text yesterday morning to ring to book delivery tried for over 4 hours no answer got the same message this morning tried ringing again no answer cost me over €20 in phone credit. Wrote emails got an automated reply. I know times are tough but don't ask me to ring a phone number to book delivery if you have intention of answering the bloody phone. I'm beyond furious and will be taking them to small claims court because I think its a scam

Order number 1599011709. Ordered a Karcher window vac for my small business (I am self employed and trying to earn money doing a few more odd jobs for my customers than I normally would to keep earning). Should have been delivered between 7pm and 11pm on Wednesday 8th April. No delivery made so I phone customer services the next morning on their 9p/min 0345 number. Kept on hold for 55 minutes before speaking to someone. After taking my order number, told me she couldn't help so placed me back on hold for a further 30 mins. Next person (Lisa at Stafford) told me she couldn't help me either as she didn't have all the right information - unbelievable. Argos is online and trading as usual and has already debited the total of £53.49 from my account yet I have no communication or window vac. I then called back again this morning and spoke to a young lad (after another 40 min wait) who told me that this has been happening very often at the moment and actually agreed with me when I said that if Argos can't fulfill the orders they are only too happy to take money for, then perhaps they shouldn't be so greedy in the first place. These are exceptional times and we are all doing what we can to get by but this just looks sloppy and greedy to me as a customer. If you can't deliver goods and then the customer service to match, don't bother. I asked for a full refund which I'm now waiting for. But a total waste of time as I placed the order 5 days ago already and now need to find a supplier I can trust - Amazon most likely! No compensation for my time either or the money spent on their shoddy and less than helpful customer service line. First time experience with Argos delivery and definitely my last. Richard

Ordered and paid for a new computer monitor with Argos. The package never arrived in the booked delivery slot however the status of the order on their website was updated to "delivered". Called Argos twice over two days (each time on hold for 40 minutes) was finally told that their system showed it was delivered and i would have to take it up with my bank. I'm shocked. I was home all day (like most people at the moment). This is criminal - Argos has stolen a large amount of money from me.

I'm a single mum with a 1 and 3 year old my mobile phone is on its last legs and is my only life line if they are ill or me and for anything else ordered a phone had to wait all week for a slot and not even come and can't contact them and now can't afford another leaving me with no life line. Absolute scumbags if you can't honour the deliveries have moral and cancel them!
