ID MOBILE IS A SCAM Received sim card from them yesterday and internet (supposed to be fast 5G) is extremely slow not only at home but also at my working place anywhere I go. Have to wait a full minute or longer to open a website. Tried on galaxy s22 ultra and iphone and compared with Vodaphone and EE similar sim cards and I have an impression that ID mobile is a scam. Called them repeatedly to cancel and they ask strange question and finally ask me to wait and never return. Date of experience: 06 October 2022

Sent sim. Sim incompatible (in a 2021 released device) Sim cancelled and destroyed. Still charged for the length of time I had the SIM in my possession. Surely iD could have listed incompatible devices clearly before ordering. Not once in all my years of mobile phone ownership have I had an incompatible device. Specifically not in this device where I've had 3 separate simcards previously, all worked. Customer service were shocking also.

Terrible signal and customer service. Very poor in every way. Would not recommend to anyone, pay the extra fiver to go to EE or somewhere else. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Even 1 star is too generous for this awful company! After being long standing customers of ID my husband decided to upgrade his contract and get a new phone! When the phone arrived it was an opened IPhone 13 pro max and was switched on in the box already. He contacted ID straight away to report that he had received an IPhone 13 pro max gold when he’d actually ordered an iPhone 13 in red. We decided to be honest as if anything went wrong with the phone then his contract wouldn’t be covered with the warranty! (Honesty clearly gets you nowhere) they told us to return the phone at our own cost and once received they would allow us to reapply for the contract. Once the phone was returned we called for an update only to get a really obnoxious guy on the phone who basically said the phone you returned is a fake and we need the correct phone back! In so many words he accused us of stealing the correct phone and returning a fake! We have absolutely no leg to stand on or any proof that that was the phone we opened and took out of the bag they had sent us! They’ve been absolutely awful and we’ve had no support from them, we have basically been accused from the get go with no investigation into the courier service or anything! We have asked for the phone to be black listed and reported it to the police as stolen and even have a crime number. ID we are so disappointed in you as we have both been long standing customers and have recommended you to so many people and we’re treated like this. One of your advisors accused us from the get go without any proof and you’ve basically just shut us down without any investigation! We WILL be taking this further! What a disgusting company. My husband is now having to pay for a phone he never received… someone somewhere has clearly swapped or packed a FAKE IPhone which has been confirmed by ID! And have stolen our phone and we’re now expected to suffer because of it because you will not investigate the courier service?! That you choose you use! Absolutely shocking! Avoid at all costs!! After reading all other reviews I am not surprised at how we’ve been treated after looking at the way others have also been treated! The police also confirmed that this happens a lot?! Why are they not being investigated?!

DO NOT TOUCH Fraudulent account opened and this company failed to follow the correct procedures. Meaning they allowed £23k debt to accrue and be filed against us. O2 informed them the accounts were fraud within 48 hours of ID opening the accounts. The correct procedure was not followed to cancel the payment plan ID held. This has resulted in this being recorded against my name and stopping us getting a mortgage. Can’t speak to anyone, even regarding such a important matter. Only chat which transcript email service doesn’t work. Absolute shambles

they are a bunch of crooks i have sim card deal with and a while back i left Plusenet because i was not happy with at the time been,took a sim card deal out ID MOBILE and had a slight problem been with about 4 months but then took a sim card deal out with plusnet that was 4 days ago they posted the sim card and i ask ID MOBILE for a pac code which they gave me they had taken £10 out for this month 2 days ago so im paid up till the end of the month i rang plusnet up with the pac code and said it would take 3 days to keep my number from id mobile and to put there sim card back in till it was changed over ,my grandson rang the landline to wish me fathers day and said he had tried to ring the mobile but it went into my voimail i tried to ring out on my mobile but could not ring out they had i found out stop my sim card and could not ring anymore so i had to put the plusnet sim card in they are the worst of the lot if they had left it so i could use my phone for 3 days i might one day have come back to them but i will never ever go with them and as said dont trurst them

I concur and identify with most of the comments made. When my husband was in hospital very ill he maxed out on his allowance so I contacted ID to increase his contract (so that my husband could keep in touch) but they wouldn't deal with me said he had to contact them and then several months later when he passed away they said they needed proof of death before they could cancel the contract. What a shower, I'm off as soon as my contract ends.

They messed up my bringing over my old number -its been three days after the 'promised' day. The best I've had is a phone call from abroad telling me to chat to an automated chat bot. Let's go into day 4 with no service lol. Any money back I D???

We cancelled a family members contract after they died in July 2018, we checked there was no service. We missed the fact that ID kept taking the direct debit until 2022. 5 months of communications and 2 copies of the death and all ID had done is stop the debit. So stressful, no apologies for 4 year of taking a DD for no services. Appalling service!

0 stars!!!! They cancel direct debit without telling u then months later you have a bill which is triple bloody didgets!!!!!! And on top of tht they change the price of the contract. ALSO the app is the worst app ever! I asked about a 'outstanding bill' to customer service on the app and they said to ignore it!!!!! These are not professional people and will take all your money and your credit score with it!!!! AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Customers service is rubbish , online is rubbish , advisers calls you, the reception is so bad , then she blames me , telling me my line is bad, Rubbish, all I want to do is cancel my voicemail, 2 days and still nowhere. I would of given the service no stars if I could DO NOT TAKE OUT A CONTRACT WITH ID , I cant wait untill my daughters contract is finished and I have gone , to any other provider but never again ID.

I wouldn't even give it 1 star, the service is the worst for customers service. I have been trying g to contact them for months via the online , ID asking the same questions and advisors have not got a clue in how to help you on your query , then you hear nothing, then a different advisor comes on and you have to start all over again 😡

If I could give no star, I would. Customer Service is non existent. When you get through for a "chat" (and that takes a lot of gile!) they simply advise using apps or online services. I thought ID mobile was ideal for people who don't use a phone or the Internet much...mainly because they either don't want to or can't become computer literate and only use this mobile medium for communication because it is almost a requisite of living in the 21st century. I think communication is sadly lost on ID Mobile.

They will double bill you and then hide behind the fact there's no human 1 2 1 chat and all you will get is a text based chat that will get you sweet f all they will tell you it's being looked into and nothing will happen basically they are con men posing as a mobile phone company do not I repeat do not take out a contract with this company they will charge you whatever they feel like and there is nothing you can do about it and if you don't want to be scammed and pay double you'll have to cancel your direct debit and lose your credit I personally don't understand how this company is still allowed to trade in the UK it's a hair away from criminal

Money grabbers who put the bill up whilst in a contract and don’t even inform you. Shocking will be leaving them as soon as contract is finished. Avoid. I would give zero stars if I could.

they are thieves, lots of GBs with less money but actually you dont get internet working. i rarely use mobile data and whenever i try, it just didnt connect. complteley useless internet and lots of time you wont even get calls. i live in london, so you can think of what kind of service they will have in remote areas. avoid at all costs unless they change their service and start providing a better service.
