I ordered a Christmas Tree that was in stock with guarantee delivery by December 2. I needed that for you for a Christmas party for that Upcoming weekend and took their word that it would be delivered by December 2. I called today, December 3, to check on the order, and was told it had not been packed up and did not leave the warehouse yet. I was so disappointed that I did not have a Christmas tree for my party as well as having many guest ask why I did not put up a tree this year. Overstock needs to be much more honest and give realistic delivery dates. I would’ve never ordered this particular tree if I knew it was not going to be here on time. I won’t buy from overstock again, since I no longer have trust and then this company

I am very disappointed that my delivery is later than promised. I made my order to have it in time for my Thanksgiving dinner, as promised. This has happened to me more than once so don't expect your delivery on time

Order dinette set from them and when arrived there were 2 chairs that were chipped on the back. I sent a picture of the chairs when asked how the shipment was and never heard back from them. Didn't request returns because they were minor but the boxes they came in where in terrible shape. Never heard back. I set up auto pay on the credit card they issued and today I go a late notice with a $30 late fee. They told me that I never set up autopay and they never receive my review. I notice that they a less than a 3 a star cumulative review record. Have called Corporate and waiting for call back. Beware

I purchased a “cherry solid wood” coffee table from Overstock.com. Sometime after the purchase, I accidentally discovered that the core of the table was compressed cardboard. Overstock.com refused to take responsibility for the inaccurate item description saying that it had been too long since purchase. After a month of emails Overstock agreed to return $61 of $334 purchase price but refused to take full responsibility for the inaccurate description. Throughout all this the item was still posted with the same misleading description. I wonder how many other cardboard products there are masquerading as solid wood on Overstock.com.

Ordered the item. It never shipped and then a nightmare trying to get any information or a refund.... terrible experience. Still waiting for USD1980 refund more than 1 month.

Ordered a sofa from Overstock.com. Sofa came defective and description and specs were misleading. Wanted to return sofa for a better quality product, however the lack of customer service is far from good. Trying to charge me $212.52 and find two boxes to send back and pack the two pieces of the sofa in. They wouldn’t transfer me to a supervisor and all calls are subcontracted to the Philippines. Cannot speak with anyone in the USA. Poor quality and horrible customer experience. Here is what the agent stated to me. “ I understand that you want to exchange the item for a different sofa however we do not offer an exchange. What we can do is to initiate a return for the item however if the item has no defect or damage, the label cost will be deducted from your refund. Upon checking here if you will drop off the packages at the UPS, the label cost will be $182.61 but if you want us to set up a UPS pick up, the label cost will be $212.52. You can also get free returns for in-store credit refund if you will join our club o membership for only $19.95 per year. You also have an option to return the item on your own with courier of your choice and I will send the RMA number and return address to you. May I ask what you prefer?”

It is impossible to cancel an order at overstock.com. As soon as you hit the buy button, you are stuck. Your only option is to receive the item and then return it at your own expense. If you try to cancel your order, you send an email. It can take hours to days to receive the “No” response. The reason “your order has been sent to the warehouse already for processing…. Even if it is within minutes, even if the fedex number says that only has a label been created, but hasn’t shipped. No matter what, you can’t cancel an order.

They sent the product I ordered. When it arrived, I removed it from the box, removed the old one from the wall and installed the new Fan timer switch for the bathroom fan. Turned the main breaker back on and tried the Timer for 5, 10 and 15 minute shut off settings. It worked perfect. Reinstalled the cover plate. Put my tools away and cleaned the bathroom counter top. I have purchased so many home furnishings from Overstock, I even have a credit card with them. I recently made an $800+ purchase that had a promo balance due by the end of the month. I made 5 payments that month to cover this balance and I was still charged the finance charge on my account. I called in and spoke with 4 different representatives that I could barely understand with theit heavy accents. They did not help me but rather told me to log onto my account and send an email and they will "take care of the finance charges" for me. Well I just received my bill wwith no adjustment and was told they cannot help me. They also NEVER replied to my emails and told me over the phone I should have contacted them sooner. As in the 4 phone calls and 3-messages on my account I already made?? This is unfair and now I am stuck paying over $200 in interest on a promo balance I paid off! If i was in the wrong and paid it late that would be on me. BUT this is NOT the case I made 5 payments in one month total the promo balance and they are still not adjusting this error THEY MADE! I will not be shopping here anymore!! This is UNFAIR and customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!

Ordered a drip coffee pot ten days ago. They keep extending the delivery date. Now they are blaming it on the Ukraine situation. I will never purchase anything from them ever again.

Applied coupon to order and proceeded to check out. Showed the final amount after the discount but once payment was submitted the price charged was without the discount. Reached out right awayto customer service who said coupons aren’t double stacked with promos. Even after providing screenshots of what the order was with the discount and seeing it was charged once the payment was submitted I was informed again it was because of coupons not being allowed on promos. The website is basically leading you to believe you will be paying less than what they are charging you and you won’t know until it’s too late. After not being able to correct the price I requested to have the order cancelled and they said it was to late even though it says it’s still processing. Wish I read other reviews before purchasing. Extremely dissatisfied on their part.

I bought 2 items, 1 for about $100 and 1 for about $30. I returned the cheaper item and was refunded for the more expensive item, minus $40 return postage! Trying to do what’s right, I called and explained and they took back the entire credit, but they never gave me any refund at all for the item I returned. They sent an email survey asking about my customer service experience, then never responded to my complaint then either. I will NEVER shop this site again.

Terrible customer service . Words cannot describe what we are going through . They Will not cancel item even though it was canceled 15 minutes after it’ was purchased. They continue to tell us the item has shipped but it has not. I am not certain what they want to get out of this as we are escalating it to the top and our bank is stopping payment. We have never experienced anything like this . Every customer service person we talk to has a different answer for us and even the supervisor lies to us about what is going on and has no authority to do anything. Wow

We purchased a duplicate gift and returned it using their label. We've been fighting with Overstock's customer service for over a month trying to get our refund. They just keep lying to us saying they're issuing a credit but ever actually do it. So frustrating! Will not buy from them again.

Worst experience we have had in a long time!!! Ordered a patio set mid May, called mid June to find out where it was only to be told it was cancelled by their Security/Fraud department because my year old email address was possibly not legitimate. No call or response via email to investigate or advise us but our credit card was charged. To top it all off when they asked me if I wanted to reorder I said yes only to be told it is now sold out. The people I talked to could care less so I would advise to stay away from Overstock.

I have never in my life experienced such a horrific event and horrible customer service. We purchased a wool rug on overstock.com and it came infested with moths! We of course did not realize this at first. This has consumed our lives. We have lost $12,000 worth of items due to the clothes moths as they eat clothes rugs carpets even furniture! I called customer service and they were not even apologetic!!! They said well our rugs can sometimes sit on shelves for months and months and therefore wool rugs can become infested with moths yet they continue to sell them this way!!!! Legit no one has contacted me to right this wrong. Our dry cleaning bill alone cost over $1,000. We had pest companies come and inspect the rug from overstock and they said the amount of larvae in the rug and moths was astonishing. Who is checking this before they ship this to customers. I beg people never ever to purchase anything from this company as they do NOT take responsibility for this in any way shape or form. I have yet to hear form anyone about this. I have lost so many rugs and clothes and are out so much money its beyond stressful. I will never buy anything from them again and I will write these reviews on every single site I can and tell everyone I know unless for some reason someone reaches out and rights this wrong. I am going to be creating a facebook group where I will inform everyone of this company.

Worst on line buying experience I've ever had. Ordered two chairs and only got one. Tried to resolve using chat but wait too long. Tried chat again and after 80 minutes the agent disconnected. Website is useless when trying to solve problems. Emailing customer service appears to take days not hours to get a response and still no resolution. Even tried cancelling order only to get vague information. I only used this site for purchase due to 15% off coupon. I learned, once again, a valuable lesson that you only get what you pay for. Should have paid full price from more reputable retailer. CEO needs to fire executive team as they clearly do nothing to help customers.

first purchase was a year ago, took months to receive item. Now I made the mistake of giving them a second try, and ordered outdoor furniture. Along with the set, I purchased their Club O membership with the impression I would have "hassle free free returns" as this is what came up when I put the furniture in my cart. The set arrived on time, however it is junk. Very hard to put together. I put one chair together and nothing lined up and the screws and tool provided were frustrating to use. The set is short and very uncomfortable. It is impossible for us to get in and out of (were older). So I took the one chair apart and put it all back in the box. When I tried to return the set with the so called "hassle free, free return" I have to pay a label fee, only get inshore credit, and wait to hear from the seller... WHAT?? what happened to this so called membership to avoid this kind of hassle?! I will NEVER do business with Overstock ever again! Amazon has you beat a thousand times over with their customer service, return policy, and quality! I just want what I paid for, free return and my money back!
