I am a bit shocked to see the replies from Vestiaire, mind you they are copy and paste replies, and totally and utterly meaningless, if you write to them you get the same copy and paste reply, they might claim they work together with people and keep the dialogue open, this is not true. Twice a dishonest buyer switched an item, twice I only got told that my sale was canceled and I would get my item back - when I responded and wanted clarification, I got autoreplies and never spoke to a real person, I got totally different items back, lost the status, so 2 scumbags are now walking around with expensive items, I got rags sent back in one case, a old t-shirt in another case, since VC did not help me in the least or even responded in any other way than meaningless copy and paste, I deleted my account and I recommend others to do the same or else you might simply lose items!

Vestiaire breaks their own rules how they see fit, do not trust their authentication service, they are totally unqualified, just like their "customer service" is a sham where some autobots reply with auto-replies, you can see it how they reply here, a copy and paste message, nobody reads, nobody cares! To top it off, they keep on rising their percentage, use the cheapest delivery service they can find with the result that items get lost, to get compensation you have to send them a copy of your ID in an open email that goes to some call center. The delivery service does not even require this, this is only Vestiaire trying to stop people claiming and putting your sensitive data at risk. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Don’t trust them. This platform only allows scammers to operate freely. Then when you complaint about the item the only option you have is to relist the item with the same description and become a scammer yourself!!!

Pretty good concept for sustainable, circular fashion. Don’t waste money on the verification process though, adds time and they aren’t actually qualified, just communicate with the seller and ask for proof if you are unsure.

Apparently their "experts" do not know their own rules or are not able to read or simply too lazy, I mentioned TWICE signs of wear as the pictures didn't quite show them, then the "expert" decided to cancel the sale because there were signs of wear AS DESCRIBED! They are ridiculous!!!!!!! They must be paying in peanuts

Vestiaire Collective is just like a supermarket now, selling on volumes with no regards for customer service which is inexistent coming from bad. Very dated seller dashboard , no particular benefits for pro sellers, extremely inflexible and trying to squeeze prices for the sake of sales volume. Worst of all, no customer service telephone number. They simply don’t intend to deal with their customers.

They sended me same message all the time that i havent respond to them although i did responde every time. They closed my case of returning item and reasons was because i didnt answer. This is crazy and i dont know what is happening there.

I contacted Vestiaire now 27 times, the simple question of how I can protect myself against buyers who switch an item/claim they have gotten another item, something that seems to happen frequently with direct shipping. I still have not gotten an answer from the company. However when I bought something, a seller was nice enough to put instructions in on how to protect myself since Vestiaire won't act but how I will have all the evidence to go after the fraudulent buyer, this is information Vestiaire should give! You need to take pictures of the item with the label, then the item in a box, then the closed box with the label attached, after that you need to put the box on the scale to show the weight (their shipping companies do not do that) and always print out 2 labels, one you keep as evidence to hand over to the authorities with all the pictures showing you sent the RIGHT item. Customer support is a joke, those people have no training, they don't even know how Vestiaire works, most likely a call center as all the replies are autoreplies.

I have a very mixed experience as a buyer and as a seller. The main issue is a quality control. I recently purchased pants that passed quality control. When I received then they turned out to be too small. However I was able almost pretty much immediately to resell them. But then VC cancelled don’t sell bc the pants didn’t pass the quality control… and the pants still had the tag on them from the original quality control with they passed! So how does that work??? I also had other issues with quality control. At this point I’m too disappointed to sell or to buy anything in there.

So I sold several items to the same buyer and shipped them the same day from the same parcel shop, all were shipped on the 11th, 1st item arrives within 4 days on the 15th, 2nd arrived and was picked up on the 21st but their system has not updated for a whole day, it was a total mess, apparently it was returned to me, then it was delivered but it took ages, the 3rd item is sitting at their delivery hub for 4 days now with a message they are going to deliver the next working day. Their customer support is absolutely clueless and not interested, they keep on asking me if the buyer has confirmed receipt, and they will ask the buyer to tell me they have it, that is not the issue, the issue is that their system does not update, so the 72 hours don't start, the item doesn't show as delivered, but the customer support bot Aiza Sophia (possibly a fake name anyway) doesn't seem to grasp the simple concept..... This is really a freaking horror show, all parcels dropped off at the same Evri shop, all dropped off at the 11th, now is the 22nd. So there is a company who deals with luxury items, however they have only untrained staff, use the cheapest and nastiest couriers they can find, if said couriers lose or damage your item, they give you a royal run around and try their best to avoid paying out. On the other hand Vestiaire takes a massive cut but tries to get you to sell your items for peanuts.

I don’t know where to start but this would be zero if possible. Firstly I get sent a fake bag , their response, having quizzed me & obviously not wanting to admit it, was to reprimand the seller !!! Really ??? Remove her id say. She already sold 3 of the exact same bag so please check you have the real thing - she was charging in excess of £600 for a rubbish bad copy of the bottega veneta cassette bag. So….I go back on & buy an authenticated bag which EVRI have now lost. Nothing but lame replies since 08/09 but I sought advice from CAB and they 100% should refund immediately or ship an alternative if the delivery date is not met. Which is wasn’t. Stay away, it’s such agro & with very little policing of who can sell fake very expensive goods.

I bought a Celine bag from Vestiare in 2019. after one year, the buttons started to fall apart. So i have re-listed the item back on Vestiare in 2020 for a super low price (taking a huge loss) consider i rarely use it. Some one purchased it and I ship the item to Vestiarie . Then Vestiarie cancelled my sale due to unable to authenticate. What a joke! I bought it with them in the first place and the purchase record is still there and the Seller is still active user. Beware the seller name is "Anne Laur" Vestiare cannot authenticate there own items. what a fraud.

Not sure that anybody noticed, but they raised the percentage they take from you again, they use now even cheaper delivery companies with the result that a lot of items get lost, then they ask you to risk identity fraud by sending sensitive documents like IDs in emails that go through several servers and land at some call center in a cheap labor country, their customer service is a joke, bots at best though it is not artificial intelligence as the intelligence is missing. However they really spam you to lower your prices, funny, I put most items on eBay now or other outlets and list on VC just because maybe somebody will see it. Guess what, I sell more on eBay for better prices than with Vestiare rip off

I used Vestiaire twice and both times received genuine items and described and pictured …the process and postage all 5 star …a third time I used them to buy a bag and the Authenticity team sent a photo of a imperfection they had found ..not mentioned and promptly refunded me when I decided I did not want it ….I have used them over a period 3 years …and would recommend them because of my positive experience with them….

It’s been 50days since I ordered and no item no refund. The CS keep saying they are waiting for the carrier to answer them. It’s impossible to refund me before they get an answer from carrier. It’s more than 8000usd. What if the carrier never answers them? The CS is horrible. The chat on their platform doesn’t even answer me anymore.

I’ve sold 3 items on Vestiaire and have you to receive payment. They sent the payment to the wrong Venmo number and have not corrected it. It has been over a month. I feel someone just robbed me of my authentic Chanel shoes! I cannot get a hold of anyone in person to reverse the payment to the wrong number and correct this. A simple contact to Venmo from Vestiaire Collective could resolve this but they have not made any attempt. I would like to be properly paid for my sold items.

Vestiaire is there to reap you off big time. I have recently sold my Cartier tank watch and Vestiaire just changed my offering price without my consent and I only found out when they sent me my amount. I have been asking for HKD8100 and they changed my offering price to HKD7055 after I sent out my watch. They refused to send me back my watch and their customer service staff just emailed me their 19 pages of terms and agreement. Their staff clearly was extremely unhelpful and tried to brush off any complaints. They also reap people off on the exchange rate. I have screenshot the conversation with the buyer and found that the exchange rate was 20% more than market rate.
