Who wants to waste some money and time on Vestiaire Collective, I do highly recommend it! Who wants to waste some money and time on Vestiaire Collective, I do highly recommend it! Basically, I bought a vintage Cartier watch which is not working properly since I've received it:) and Collective does not accept either return and repair. Even though they are charging for quality control, I have been dealing with a shoddy vintage Cartier watch. Also, customer service doesn't help at all and not replying to my emails too. There many cases that I had experience with that firm. But shoddy Cartier watch was the major. I think there is no need to add any more reviews.

Their warehouse lost my mink fur coat that I sold through their website and shipped to them on the same day. Despite the tracking showing it was accepted at their warehouse, their customer service kept saying it couldn’t be located and not to worry as it will found and scanned soon. have called multiple times and asked customer services to act on it ASAP as I was worried I will loose my expert seller badge, and each time yet another arrogant representative assured my that my seller status will not be affected!!!!!!!!! This is a ridiculous, ignorant and unacceptable level of customer service!!! My coat was shipped on the day of sale, and received the next day, 28th February!!!! I called EVERY day since then, spoke to various customer services representatives, chased it, asked for help, sounded my concern that I will loose my expert seller badge if it’s not scanned by warehouse on time etc. I was assured that I need to wait more and that my seller status WILL NOT be affected. After 20 phone calls, 1 week later and daily chasing, all the stress and cost of calls to me, : 1. Item is missing 2. Payment still not received 3. Customer services still being ignorant and arrogant about it saying not to worry 4. No specific reply with payment confirmation 5. I lost my expert seller badge which I was ASSURED I wasn’t going to loose This is the worst, most careless and most arrogant customer services I have ever received, with no care for customer and with absolute NO desire to help and resolve anything!!!!! This email will be forwarded to Head Office in Paris.

This company is just not for me! Buying a high end, high price, designer bag should be a pleasurable, joyous thing but Vestiaire suck all the enjoyment out of it. It takes far, far too long and with little in the way of communication. They grab your money and expect you to be happy to wait three weeks or so before actually getting your item with little idea of what is happening in the meantime. In this day and age the time frame is ridiculous! I have just purchased an expensive bag on eBay - 36hrs later I was wearing it.....

I’m sorry Vestiaire. Too much for me already. Once you have lost chanel watches for 12 000. It was delivered to you, but dissapeared. 2!!!months I wrote you, and I heard “we are trying to find” every day. Till I wrote here to truspilot. Next day after 2 months I have received money. Now I have sold Chanel jacket for 1500€ on 6th of february. AND AGAIN! I DIDNT RECEVIE MONEY!!! I have an answer all the time : We apologize, soon you will receive mail. MAIL?! I need my money for sold item month ago! Each time I need figth for my money. If you dont send me proof of payment TODAY I will make an oficcial letter to special authority with my layer. Quality control department is absolutely a joke. They try to find every reason to reduce your price, even you have listed all the damages in your description. Additionally, they overcharge everything, the delivery fee is so high. Plus they charge commission fee from both sides

Ref: 8652948 I gave this rate to Vestiarie C. because this company is a joke, I'm just done with their excuses. I sold a Swarovski bracelet on Jan/06/2020 and according to the company's policy I would get paid by Jan/21st. OK, I checked at the app and it was informing that the payment had been done. Checking on my account details at the app I saw that one number was wrong and I contacted them after I fix it. Well, let's make something clear here, I know it was my fault that the account number wasn't correct at the time of payment, but I contacted the company right away and I knew that it was "fixable". I waited for weeks because they said they are having a large volume of other issues to be solved; However I know it's very easy to solve my case, since they probably got their money back from the bank, the account they had paid do not exist, so the transference was never really completed. They just had to pay me again through the right account number. It has been over 40 days since I contacted them about this matter, I'm waiting for a solution and they just keep sending me the same email almost every week. I truly believe by now that they are trying to fool me and they will never going to pay me.

I've never met with the case that the team of so called "professionals" would send back my item in state that makes it unable to use. I've send my necklace to the Vestaire and it was turned down because of a minor knot. This I understand. But when I recieved my parcel what I got back was additional, massive knot that makes it impossible to wear... It's destroyed. The team claims that since the knot was already there they can't help me. Well - the minor knot was there, but not a big, tangled mess that they made of my necklace. The fact is that they send my item destroyed with another tangled knot that ruined it. I can't wear it, I can't sell it. I have no idea if it can be repaired and if so how much money I will have to spend. They didn't even apologize for what they have done :) I'm speechless and I'm thinking about leaving their site because I've never been in a horrible situation like this. Be careful of your things or they may end up unfixable. 1st photo is the knot that was there. 2nd shows what I got back. 3rd shows both knots and how my necklace is ruined now

The items are typically good. Customer Service is okay, The price is good until you go to checkout, where Vestaire overcharges for everything. When they first started it was great buying from them. You could choose if you wanted to pay custom fees to them or in your country and authentication was free. Now, The customs fees are outrageous, they charge for authentication based on the price of the item, and their shipping is expensive. At the end, I think Vestaire makes more money from the fees than the Seller. For these reasons, I stopped buying from them.

Please be careful when sending in a sold item, even though you include everything, and if they (Vestiare Collective) misplace or lose part of the shipment, basically you are called a liar and that you never included it, so remember to photograph your shipment box including everything you are sending. If you have sold 20+ items already (so I know what to do etc etc) and a potential buyer asks you the day before what is included in the sale, you are not going to forget to include a dustbag. And due to this the sale is void, even though I did include a dust bag, and whoever opened the box didn't see it or misplaced it, extremely poor customer service, so be very very careful.

horrible! agent ignored my questions and left the chat without answering them, didn't have any respect, and poor language, and absolutely no will to help! it's the worst customer service I have experienced in my life, can't even imagine what would be over the phone.... This wasn't the first time, almost all agents I chatted with in theist had a very, very poor service. Wanted to lodge a formal complaint in the end and expressed this to the agent several times (again, without answer) and he left the chat. I see so many bad reviews for VC here, but nowadays there are many platforms competing with Vestiaire Collective thankfully!

Item 5655198. They told me I'd sold my coat from "ready to ship " which means it's in their warehouse. And that id be paid within a few days.However due to a fault in the system, they kept asking me to send it to them.Called them 29 times but sale was cancelled.Anyway coat was resold and I still havnt been paid.Yes,still being asked to send it , but they still have it themselves.Latest email told me that my expert status has been taken away,reduced to no status because I didn't send it.Cest la vie !

Horrible experience it was my first time buying I purchased a bag which almost seems too good to be to be true then four days later I received a message saying sorry they were late in sending the bag the next day they sent a message saying they couldn’t find the bag I’m still waiting for a refund this site basically takes your money for products it does not have his hands and you have to wait to see whether they send it or not and then wait for your refund it’s extremely inconvenient and unfair and then to compensate me they offered me a $15 coupon if I spent 150 more dollars are you kidding me I would spend two cents at this place after my experience

Sold an item, it passed quality control but then apparently they lost it somewhere, no updates after quality control for 9 weeks, buyer cancelled order, now today I got my item back after getting an email that apparently it was a conformity issue and my account got a strike - OK, but in that case, maybe, just maybe they should not leave the label on that showed "In very good condition, matches description and is authentic"

When I bought from them, things were mostly OK, but when I sold with them and needed their customer service as they made frequent mistakes, there was none. You wait forever to speak to somebody in chat, only to find out that they have no idea and are not interested. Phone is the same, and email you get a preformulated response. Why they pretend to have customer service is really beyond me!

I have successfully sold a few items with Vestiaire Collective. Until recently I have sold an item and sent it on time. ONE MONTH has gone and the item is still under quality control! I've tried to send numerous emails and call customer service to request to speak to the higher team. However every time they only give me standard answers and apologies like reading from a script but without actually solving the problem! They told me they have already sent urgent emails to the logistics but no answer from them. Please start looking for other solution instead of just sending emails!!!!!! And Johnny who I spoke to on 9th January promised his manager will call me the same day! Unsurprisingly no one actually got back to me. And I call again the next day, in the middle of the conversation the staff hang up on me!!! This is by far the worst customer service I've ever had!!!! It's always me chasing up the matter and on the other hand Vestiaire Collective has make no effort!!!! WEEKS have passed and still no result!!! I'm extremely disappointed with Vestiaire Collective and their outragusly horiandous customer service!!!

totally unethical practices - I bought a Birkin Bag, and when they received it they mentioned some faults in the bag which triggered a price adjustment - it took ages for them to allow a higher price adjustment that I managed to agree with the seller - but then when I wanted to go ahead with the transaction, they mentioned the price adjustment should take a form of a one off voucher expiring in 3 months instead of a cash refund, which is completely ridiculous especially when it comes to large amounts. Very upsetting practices!

Pésima seguridad... Vendí unos pendientes de YSL vintage el 6 de diciembre, mandé los pendientes el 10 diciembre pues era festivos los días anteriores, llegaron a Vestíare el 18 de diciembre y el 22 de diciembre dicen qué anulan la venta pues no han llegado!!!! Se firmó la recepción el 18!! No sabían dónde estaban, luego qué estaban rotos los dos pendientess(qué estaban embalados en plástico de burbujas, más papel y dentro de una caja).... El caso es qué he mandado todos los comprobantes cómo 4 veces a personas distintas y un mes después sigo sin pendientes y sin pago de los mismos.... Las respuestas son robóticas o monosílabos y siento gran impotencia con la situación! Denuncien esta práctica, igual juntos conseguiremos algo..... 😡

A laughing stock among people who know anything about reselling. The authentication process is simply a means of ensuring no items have to be sent back, and many, many fakes slip through the cracks only to be relisted by the poor buyers who know they are fake having to pass them on to someone else. Rude and inconsistent customer service, badly put together website. Don't believe the puff pieces they have had fashion publications write to try and salvage their reputation, this place is a mess.
