“Terrible app. Partner could not do on site. Ruined our last evening of 3 day holiday as he spent most of it trying to do it ended up trying to do it on my phone only to be told its not possible on my mobile app. He eventually sorted it online after several attempts He now has to bank to get them to delete the direct debit apps that popped up. This should not be legal. we too will not use if we can avoid.”
“Terrible service, unable to get the app to down load on 2 different phones, phoned the parking number on the notice board to pay for parking, all through the instructions etc to be told sorry the desk is closed, we spend 30 mins trying to make a payment with aps and calls to look around St Austell , gave up and drove out back to the hotel 10 miles away, now got £60 to pay because there so called help desk was closed and even though the calls are on my phone still they will n ot belive us. Never vist here again or any carpark run by them.”

Spent fifteen minutes trying to pay.
And then they have the nerve to charge an additional 'convenience fee'.

I paid for 1 hours parking in H&F and was issued a PCN 40 minutes in, when I checked my bank Ringgo hadn’t taken the payment (even though their automatic call confirmed they had) so I’m trying to get them to confirm the call as H&F council asked for a receipt....I’ve tried contacting Ringgo on the app, phone calls (number discontinued on their new 2024 site) the live chat doesn’t reply (timed out) and they don’t reply to emails.
This is NO service.
A company should not be able to operate in the UK if they are not contactable....where’s the consumer protection!!”

Every few weeks, the app breaks down and has to be reinstalled.
Constant requests for verification - for the sum of £1.40! - but the OTP then fails to arrive.
Today, to crown it all, the phone service, which provides an alternative to the app, was ‘closed’ - so with an imminent appointment, there was nothing to do but slog several hundred yards to the pay machine, which miraculously was working.
Appalling complacency and incompetence - but in our town they have a monopoly of the car parks, so what do they care? If only we COULD withdraw our custom ….”
“Unable to log into my Ringo account. Tells me to use the app. The app recognises my mobile but not my password. Tells me to reset my password but I cant because it doesnt recognise my password to log in. Uninstalled it, reinstalled it, no difference. Cant contact anybody, the phone number is discontinued, the on line chat goes unanswered.
Abysmal. Totally isolated from the outside world. Currently fighting two parking invoices because the phone number at the parking does not work either.”
“Every time I try to register my residency status with Ringgo it does not work. This happens every year, and always results in an extended email dialogue with Ringgo "support", who really don't seem interested in providing support at all. This time, when I tried to renew my residency on the website I got an error. The response from "support" was that I needed to re-apply for residency again. So I tried that, and got an error. Someone at Ringgo really needs to invest in testing the systems that it's poor unfortunate users have to tolerate. Life is too short for this.”

I have had numerous fines although I have sat in my car for ages trying to logon to your app or call. When I get as far as paying, I cant. I try over and over and its the same every time.
Today I picked my son up from the hospital and yet again it happened!

“RIP off!!! Arrived in parking bay at 8.50. Only needed 1hour. If I paid cash which I didn’t have it was £2.20 for an hour. Because RingGo only does 9-10-11etc slots your forced to pay £4.60! £2.20 for the ten minutes until 9 and another £2.20 till 10. Then another 20p on top for god knows what? Carry cash is my advice!!”

“I have been trying to book my residents parking permit in Brent. Brent council in their wisdom transferred their parking permit services to RingGo last year.
I have tried several times to apply for my permit. Payment kept failing. I contacted my bank to find out what the issue was and was told that the payment had been declined because RinGGo were not using the 3DS Secure payment processing system.
It is impossible to speak to anyone at RingGo as you can only call the automated service to book a parking session. Even their only enquiry system is not working. Have tried to send two messages today. Both appear to have failed.
Also, I found that I was being charged two different prices for the permit. I used their website, which was charging £239.20 and their mobile app, which was charging £113.20. Both were for a 12 month permit. I have no idea which one is correct.
Why is it so difficult to speak to a human being? Is it because they are being inundated with calls because of their poor service?”

After repeated failures i was advised that I was being transfered to a call agent. Three seconds later I was then advised that all agents are busy and therefore I should call at a later time. Given that I've been fortunate enough to find a parking space and I have an appointment in less than 10 minutes this information is about as useful as this lousy Tory government is at running Britain. So, RingGo is, for me, entirely useless.”
