So poor, they dangle items in front of you, take orders, make all sorts of promises, but take WEEKS to deliver goods, if they deliver at all. Last order of mine made on Sept. 5th, still not received a month later. And when I say last order, I MEAN last order. Customer support is just full of auto-responses and meaningless platitudes that really just translate as 'we'll send it when we send it'. Embarrassingly poor for a company trading in a global, online, Amazon Prime-led marketplace. Strongly recommend people to not waste their time and effort, just to be disappointed.

Four orders in a row dispatched late - contradicting their own stated FAQs of goods dispatched between 10th and 15th of every month. Constantly having to chase for answers but don't get actual answers just usual copy and paste style apologies

I ordered a fridge and it arrived broken, but I was told I had to accept it and then get it re-collected. They took nearly a month to re-collect it, failing to collect on two occasions where I had to stay home from 8am-8pm. Customer service is lacklustre. There is no contact phone number, there is no online chat, you simply have to email and they may get back to you in 24 hours. Would not use again.

Ordered two Threads Subscription boxes on sale. Delivered, but book was same in both. Notified via Twitter Customer Support, who said at first, they were "out of stock" and would offer me £5 Store Credit - no thanks. Another Rep said the previous was "away with the fairies" - I think they tried to take the easiest route, and not look into it properly. The items were then re-sent, only to be given THE EXACT SAME ORDER - two of the same book, of which, was not representative of the image on the website, and no clause was given stating the cover received may differ. The conversation was supposedly 'passed on' for 'future staff training' - I'm sure it was... Got in touch again, only to be told they were "sorry you have not received the replacement items"; I did, they were wrong, telling me they don't really care too much about customer issues. Offered a full refund - £10, and postage label to send back. I'm awaiting a reply now after I denied that and said I'm waiting to get what I paid for. I'm not going out my way, taking my time, to return an item(s) THEY did not check, or even remedy. Appauling customer service. Would not recommend.

Zavvi has to be the worst company going and they would be a great company to use on a video of how not to do business. Don't put yourself through dealing with these incompetent fools.

I ordered without checking reviews, when I did check the reviews I regretted making a purchase. The good news is that they cancelled my order and the reason was a lie. Thankfully I have now ordered from a reputable company at £100 more and I'm actually happy that I have. Stay away from these cowboys and take previous bad reviews seriously.

Didn't receive all my order, contacted customer service 3 times have been told sorry it's on order don't know when it will be in stock. Why take money for stock you don't have? Been waiting more than a month. Utter rubbish. Seems I could be a pensioner before I'll get this order.

Awful company from my experience. Orders are routinely cancelled or put on hold indefinitely due to lack of stock. Customer service consistently fail to demonstrate a shred of intelligence, common sense or courtesy.

Rubbish company! Advertising stuff and taking payment for items that they don't even have in stock! Can't even ring them as they don't t have a phone number. So annoyed, been waiting ages for an item too.

Terrible customer service! I have in the past ordered two items from Zavvi.com, one was a pre-order which clearly said it was due to be released in November. November came and went, getting into mid December I started to worry where my item was as it was a Christmas present I contacted Zavvi to ask where my item was and why I hadn't received it, they then informed me it wouldn't be relaeased until January (despite the website still saying November) January date came, no order I again checked wit Zavvi after two messages to them and no response I checked the website only to find the item was out of stock! Zavvi eventually informed me they didn't know when it would come back in stock then cancelled my order. Rubbish service!

First time I ordered an item it arrived quickly, second time I ordered two items, they managed to sen one of them with a week delay despite the fact that the item was available and in stock. I contacted the customer services so far three times to cancel the remaining part of the order and I am still waiting for them to cancel or manage to send the item. Each person come up with a different excuse.

i ordered a harley quinn cutout from the comic strip i received the harley quinn from the movie which is cheaper and the wrong one returned the item only to be sent out exactly the same item again there picking department must really suck avoid at all cost

Ordered a £2k laptop from them, they took the money then sat on the order for a week before cancelling. Stating they couldn't get stock. The item is marked as being in stock and still is. This company is appalling, they broke their own T&C's by canceling without notification, cost me money credit card charges. With no acceptance of fault. Avoid them and don't believe the website. They are totally incompetent!

Pre-ordered Versailles season 2, expected to ship on 06/30/2017 and new expected date is 6 months later!! I can get elsewhere before then!

I pre-ordered some pop vinyls and they were on a deal, 4 for £30. My payment method is Paypal, might i add none of my details have change for as long as I have had Paypal. So i pre-ordered these pops in January, 3 of them were Valentine presents, It is now June and i have not received them, I have sent countless messages over the last 5 months in regards to where my order is at, i understand some pops can be popular and go out of stock quick but they left me in the dark. I then get an email telling me that there was a payment problem on my end therefore the order has been CANCELLED. No way of me resolving it from my end, just straight up cancelled. They will not sort this situation out, they only suggested i re-order which would be me paying more then what i pre-ordered at. There was also no problems with my Paypal or card as they managed to send out 2 of the pop vinyls in this order and take the payment for both of them no problem within those 5 months. After getting into contact with them they ignored the pop vinyl that got cancelled which was what my email entailed. Many messages I have sent them have been ignored! Situation unresolved, will never ever be ordering from them again. One of the worst customer services I've had the misfortune of experiencing.

At 6pm, shortly after I have placed an order on Zavvi (and I mean like less than a few minutes), I have realised there was a mistake in my purchase (selected the wrong size for a hoody). Naturally, I went into My Orders dashboard and select the "Cancel" option. I have even sent a cancellation message to the customer service team. But In less than 20 minutes later, I received an email stating: --------------------------------------------------- Thanks for shopping with Zavvi. We have been unable to cancel the below item(s) from your order: We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. ------------------------------------------- Not even an explanation as to why the cancellation failed! And the cancellation was done mere MINUTES after the order was placed. I went back to check on the order status, and it states that the order was: Status: Awaiting Dispatch So, they are saying the order has been packed and is awaiting dispatch in about 30 MINUTES, and this is done AFTER 6 PM? And they have done this KNOWING that I have sent a cancellation message in regards to this order, choosing to completely IGNORE it? Returning isn't a great option either, as they will CHARGE YOU POSTAGE COST. This is terrible customer service, and I would avoid Zavvi if I were you... At least Amazon is WILLING to give a full refund, including the postage cost!

I ordered the monthly Threads subscription with a half price discount code for the first month, which would have been April, the money was taken and a subscription set up. However, they didn't tell me that I'd missed the deadline for the first month's box, which would have been fair enough if they hadn't proceeded to charge me for the 2nd month despite not actually sending the first box. After questioning this I got a refund, but this was against the first box, so I wouldn't have got my first delivery at half price. I questioned that and received a £5 referral bonus, so I was satisfied at that point. As we started getting towards the last week of May when I was originally told orders would be dispatched. There was no update on my stuff, so I asked where it was and was told it would be shipping in the "next 48 hours". Three days later and no update I asked again and was told "48 hours" and it'll be sent out. The end of May rolls around and there's still no sign of the expected box, but it's alright as I expect it'll be sent in the "next 48 hours", right? The start of June comes along and I am charged again. By this point I've asked where my stuff is and why I have no been charged three times for boxes but received none. I asked them to cancel my subscription and refund my money (on the 2nd June). A few days later and I'm told my order has been cancelled and the refunds processed on both outstanding boxes, I should see the money back in 3-5 days. Not ideal but OK. By the 9th June I've received one refund, but not the other. More messages back to customer services and I'm told (on the 11th June) that both refunds were requested on 6/6/17, so several days later than zavvi told me they had originally been organised. But it's OK, everything was sorted and the money would be back in my account up to "5-7 days" after the refund was organised. So the 11th-13th June, but that's a Sunday so I'll give them a couple more days just in case the weekend causes any problems. So, we're now up to the 16th June. Still no sign of the 3rd refund. So another message to customer support who decide today is the day they'll tell me that the 3rd refund wasn't processed properly. But it's OK, because it wwas sorted "yesterday" allegedly and will be with my in 5-7 days. Now, I understand that sometimes mistakes can happen, but seeing as I've directly asked several times about the progress of my refund I find it unbelievable that they only noticed they'd cocked one of the refunds up yesterday. So either someone is actually terrible at their job or they are lying about what has/has not been organised. On this basis I'd advise anyone to steer clear, at least from their subscription services. I have previously used zavvi for one off purchases when I had a discount code, but even then the service was slow. I can only compare the service I have received here with that I had from Amazon. It's not a flattering one for zavvi. So here we are again, watch this space for "5-7 days" I suppose....
