We booked with Hoseasons along with another family but have just had our booking cancelled at 24 hours notice (the other family's booking is still ok). After four hours of phone calls we finally got through and were told there was nothing they could do and no alternate accommodation was available - the other family will just have to go alone without us! We told them this wasn't acceptable but they told us they are just a middle man and not a travel agent or tour company. They just advertise accommodation on behalf of individuals, groups or holiday parks under the 'Hoseasons' brand and take a booking fee. It's in their terms and conditions that the actual owners can cancel the contract at anytime without recourse or compensation. You would have thought that if the owner had accepted the booking they couldn't cancel it on a whim - but no, Hoseasons couldn't give a monkeys about the customer - they actively discriminate against them by means of cancellation charges. They basically stuck two fingers up and said jog on. There is a reason they are ranked 37 out of 37 on Trustpilot for Vacation Rentals - you've been warned, avoid unless you want your dreams broken and your kids in floods of tears!

Text sent 10 days before the holiday saying that they had been trying to get hold of me (as it wasn't by phone or email I guess that telepathy is their chosen method) and my holiday was cancelled - no reason given. I phoned and the girl who I eventually spoke to was really apologetic, she said it wasn't good enough, she asked if I wanted a refund - I said the text said that had happened - Oh no, you have to ask for it! She did offer to try and relocate me but wasn't hopeful as it is the same everywhere! Will we use Hoseasons again - no!

Searching through for our summer holiday and everything we clicked on to book on we get the message - 'We're sorry, this has just been booked for your dates and is no longer available' Yet they do not remove the holiday from their site. The same holiday is still being advertised a week later. Sometimes you can get through Booking stage one only to get an Error 500 that returns you to your search. This isn't just one holiday, this is every holiday I tried to book and yet day after day these holidays are still showing as available. IT'S SIMPLE HOSEASONS - IF THE HOLIDAY ISN'T AVAILABLE, DON'T ADVERTISE IT!!!! False advertising.....

Ive booked a holiday with hoseasons for a week in August this was booked Last year and unfortunately because of current situation and that i have a son with special needs and has high risk health issues I've been advised to not travel with him. Ive been trying to get in touch with Hoseasons through telephone and email for 3weeks now with no success so this is my last resort i received email confirmation that check in is 5pm which is unacceptable but has the cost of the holiday wasn't small. Im very unhappy with the service and no contact from anyone i would not recommend booking with hoseasons for any further holidays in respect of my lack of treatment

I booked a villa on 23/11/19 for two weeks starting on 08/08/20.I paid the balance and received an email on 01/08/20 giving me instructions and wishing a great holiday. On 03/08/20 I received an email cancelling the holiday as they were double booked!!!!!! If they were double booked why did they cancel my holiday and not people who booked later?I have been going to the site for 20 years (early years not owned by Hoseasons) and this is how they treat a loyal customer. I can only presume they resold it a much higher price. No other accommodation available, so no holiday for me and my family.Do not trust them.

Where do I start. Much like the most recent reviews Hoseasons are full of S***. We made 4 bookings in November 2018 for Finlake for my Dad's 60th. Arrival 7th August. We all got our hoseasons Confirmations 17th June. 1 Booking got their information pack from Finlake 1 week before. So I called 7 days before we were due to arrive, told they can see our 3 bookings on hoseasons but hasn't transferred over onto their system. They will look into it and call me back. 6 days before, no one has called me back. I called; same response. 4 days before - still no call back. I called again. Told they will look into it could hear some computer clicking. Someone will call me back same day. 3 days before - I called back took around 15 attempts. Demand an answer no one has bothered to call me back. I dont want to drive 3.5 hours with a toddler and dogs to be turned away. We were told that Hoseasons have had accommodation pulled off their site by the owners but they will do their best to get it sorted. Get told someone will call me back. So try to call for an update through out the day Finally get through at 5pm to be told Hoseasons will call me back by 5.30pm Hoseasons call and tell me there is maintenance on all 3 of our bookings! Thats not what the resort said, and that there is nothing they can do, finlake only notified them yesterday evening. Even though they knew there was a problem 5 days ago! 3 days before our holiday, they've cancelled it. Looks like we won't get anywhere else now either, not for a family of 8 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs. The language I would like to use isn't permitted! But I am absolutely infuriated to say the least. I will be reporting to who ever and which ever professional memberships they are associated (ABTA being one) to do this to so many people is an absolute disgrace. The company should be ashamed of themselves. There is clearly something going on here for so many people to be saying the same things! Never again will I use hoseasons and I will shout it from the rooftops to inform others of what a shambles and embarrassment they are to the UK holiday industry.

We booked into one of the cabins with hot tubs for a couple of nights. I received notification at 5 pm today that our booking for tomorrow has been canceled. Less than 24 hours before we were due to check-in. The reason I have been given is that there is no accommodation available even though this has been booked well in advance. I'm sure that you will have known prior to today whether the accommodation was available. I have then not been offered any alternatives or refunds (travel agent is currently chasing this) or even an apology from hoseasons. I am a very disappointed customer.

They cancelled my holiday on the day while travelling to Cornwall with 7 month old baby we booked before Covid 19 , i really feel badly treated by Hoseason's. Perhaps they sold our cottage 3 x more than what we paid? I've been a key worker working 12 hour day really needed a break... what a kick in the teeth. 4 hour before booking in , no words explain how my family felt.

Booked a weeks holiday for £1000.00, they were happy to take full money to secure our booking then got call the next day to say the lovely hot tub cabin was not actually available. They refunded us but they leave adverts on their website to keep people scrolling and interested but a lot of the holidays have already been booked and they haven't taken the advert down. Nightmare to use. On hold for 30 mins on their customer service line.

The Lodge we booked though Hoseasons was disgusting, nothing worked eg Hot Tub and TV. The fridge and microwave was filthy and bedding old and stained. Trying to contact Hoseasons to complain but can not get to speak to anyone. And no reply from my emails. I will never use this company again!

Regularly book with Hoseasons Covid brought me 3 cancellations and 3 vouchers. What a fiasco, unable to use them online, no email contact phone calls are charged by the minute an queues are hours long. Currently going on holiday with them in 4 days. Full balance paid but no confirmation or full address of holiday. Very disappointed with customer service and judging by other comments so are many others. Seriously considering legal action.

Terrible experience. Booked Hoseasons property for family holiday 4 weeks or so before going via Booking.com. Had a call from Hoseasons 24 hours before setting off to say property not available to us. No explanation. No offer of alternative. Strongly recommend not using them - if you want to be sure your holiday will go ahead.

Just like the 1000s of others., Hoseasons took our full ballance for a cottage in Wales, to then cancel with no explaination, apollogy or refund. 10 days notice. Reporting them to fraud action. Just look at all the complaints, action groups and accusations of lies and dirty tricks from both customers and cottage owners There is,even a crime number. Allagations seem to be they cancel to then re sell ar huge uphike or try to blame the cottage owners Avoid!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t bother with Hoseasons go direct to Park Dean Resorts . Just got back from Kessingland with grandchildren. We had a brilliant time , no thanks to Hoseasons. I had several questions I needed answering . But could not get hold of Any persons from Hoseasons. You only got put through if booking a holiday. Got it all sorted from Parkdean and the reception. Got you money then forgotten.

Book a staycation with a small business through Hoseasons. Received booking confirmation on the 10th July and paid balance on 26th July for a stay from 21st Aug. Received an email on 29th July saying my booking had been cancelled, no explanation just a voucher or refund offered. I opted for the refund but emailed Hoseasons to ask what the issue was, if it had been the site wasnt covid ready I would have accepted this but received no reply, no explanation. I contacted the small business and they told me Hoseasons had double booked!! They were extremely helpful and tried to sort something out as there had been a cancellation the following week. Hoseasons did not offered the alternative date as an option and by the time we tried to book that it too was booked. The small business have offered us another option and I would book directly with them but will never book through Hoseasons again. They are a huge firm and pay no attention to the individual customers, unfortunately smaller business are going to miss out using Hoseasons and their non existing customer services.

On 28 JUN 2020 i book a boating holiday with HOSEASONS for Richardson boat yard costing Invoice Total £ 1472.00 -for 6 people- from 8th 15th July- i paid a deposit and YOU took out the balance of £ 1222.00YOU THEY CONFIRMED MY BOOKING BY EMAIL- SO I WOULD HAVE TURNED UP ON THE DAY AND TIME YOU SAID for the holiday ......... on 18/07/20 - i had some questions about the booking and made 24 separate calls to yours selves over a 48 hours a total of 9 hours wait time , the phone was put down on 4 occasion by your operator who picked up the call then cut me off . In desperation as they did not pick up on the 20th july i called Richardson boatyard to ask them the questions they said i dont have a booking and that they told HOSEASONS in a EMAIL months ago that the boat (they had booked for me) had been taken out of service months before and others customers had the same issue , they said that HOSEASONS are incompetent I then made 70 calls to the 0345 498 6594 number over a 8 hour period , eventually the phone was picked up . I explained what Richardsons had said to which she said that it was booked at the she would ring them. She then rang me back and said that there was no booking and that there was a mistake by HOSEASONS who FAILED to look at EMAILS and update system. I then informed her that i would have turned up on the day to find there was NO BOOKING AS THEY FAILED to update systems and FAILED to CONTACT me . the rep did her best find other boats but it appeared that although these were shown free on THEIR systems when she contacted the boat yards they were already book- INCOMPETENT I then spoke with the rep again we came to an agreement that as They were at FAULT and to find a compromise they identified that there was a boat free from the 8th to 11th July at Barnes Brinkcraft boat yard ( boat name Phantom) for 6 PEOPLE . I then i explained that i need accommodation from the 11th to 15th as THEY had FAILED in their contractual obligation to me. She then sorted out a Silver plus chalet at Broadlands sands for 4 PEOPLE (2 people short). They sent sent me a confirmation email on Tuesday 21st July - timed 18:33- subject BOOKED - " Both bookings are sorted confirmations on way" . That same day I received a confirmation email subject Barnes Brinkcraft Booking confirmation with attachments that i filled out and returned and deposited money in their account. Having already identified that HOSEASONS are INCOMPETENT i decided that i should ring both Barnes Brinkcraft to confirm . Barnes Brinkcraft confirmed the booking On 29th July i contacted Barnes Brinkcraft to confirm a BACS transfer and was informed by them that HOSEASON canceled my booking on the 23 July as it was DOUBLE BOOK by two others . I said that this can be correct as they Barnes Brinkcraft had sent me an email confirming it- They said it was nothing to do with them it was HOSEASONS who are INCOMPETENT. i pointed out that they are equally INCOMPETENT as they had failed to inform me that YOU had cancelled and that they had taken money from me under false presence. On 29th July after a nearly four hour wait HOSEASONS answered the phone 0345 498 6594 and I spoke with a representative who appeared to know nothing about the Barnes Brinkcraft boat being cancelled. She then contacted them and said yes its cancelled you can have your money back. What? we would have turned up for a second time at a boat yard they had double booked THEY ARE INCOMPETENT DO NOT USE AVOID AT ALL COST

today reading more bad reviews can all WHO HAVE BEEN RIP OFF RING YOUR LOCAL POLICE AND ASK THE TO LOOK AT THE WAY WE HAVE BEEN TREATED AND ASK FOR THE DIRECTORS TO BE ARESSTED FOR THEFT OFF OUR MONIES MY BANK SAID THEY TREID TO TAKE THE BALANCE BY MANUAL MEANS NOT BY THE NORMALL WAY ??????????????THIS MUST BE THEFT ALL RING THE POLICE NOW the CEO IS SWEDISH AND ONLY BEEN IN THE JOB FROM NOVEMBER HIS IS JOB TO STEAL AS MONEY AS HE CAN THEM GO BACK SWEDEN AND LAUGH AT ALL US BRITS ?????????????

hi iam going to my lodge which was cancelled by horseasons on my holiday date will not move out of lodge even if the plolice come for I want this to been seen on the tv the papers as iam disabled so is my wife the just offer us a three story house in the middle of leeds ??????????????? they offerd this as I told them I was takenig them to court her reply is we have a big legale team ?????????????????? I will take them and the owners of the park to court for defrauding me to make more money by cancelling my hoiliday and re booking by I think for £600.00 more this is not right and the owners should be helping us not letting horseasons do this but ?????????????? do they also gain by this so thats why they are not doing anything I will be at that lodge for my holiday

Could not get hold of anyone to actually discuss my booking despite using Facebook, messenger, phone (MANY times for a LONG time, Twitter and online message via website. Atrocious customer service during a pandemic, compared to other agents. Accepted in the end to lose the deposit to cut our losses as with such appalling experiences of other customer was not prepared to lose more this year. Hope you get it sorted for the future Hoseasons!!
