Nobody wants anyone to go out of business and create further unemployment during this worrying time. I am guessing this is why hoseasons wants to keep our money and make us rebook instead of offering refunds. Although I feel for every business at this time, this decision is absolutely absurd. It will be impossible for most large families to rebook and get everyone together again. I can not see how not giving their customers a full refund will not damage their reputation in a major way. Who in their management tier has made this ludicrous decision? After this scandal people will book with Haven and centre parcs who are doing the right thing and offering refunds. Hoseasons please, please reconsider as your reputation will be in shatters.

Supposed to go to Ruda Devon 10th April,obviously the park is closed i wanted a refund of £579 as we cannot go at any other time in the next 12 months,a rather shirty lady on the phone said "we arnt issuing refunds" i explained my situation being self employed work has stopped and i need that money to live on,she couldnt have cared less,really disgusted we have used hoeseasons a few times and while they might make money off those who cant rebook the implications for the future hopefully will not bode well as people will not use them,i have contacted my card issuer who said "oh yes were well aware of this but we will get a you a refund" as for the joker who says we are all "dillusional" i take it you are the CEO of hoeseasons? Either that or just a complete idiot

Hoseasons should be ashamed...to refuse refunds and only offer holidays at best costing an admin fee or doubling the cost to rebook. This can't be within our consumer rights as customers. Hoseasons are very short sighted as customers won't forget and holiday parks have already started to distance themselves reducing holiday availability. Shame on you Hoseasons.

Hoseasons are refusing refunds and cannot meet rebookings without charging admin fees at best and at worst doubling the cost of our holidays. This cannot be legal under consumer law. What this company seem to lose us the foresight that customers will not use you again and holiday parks will cancel their contracts for 2021. Is there not anyone in the this company with a brain and with decent morals. You stink as a company.

Hoseasons now have all my money and are refusing a refund, is this legal? Meant to go holiday next week but they have cancelled due to the coronavirus. Now they will not refund me my own money, only let me change dates which is no good. I have paid on my credit card so will be contacting the bank to see if I can charge back. I have used hoseasons many times in the past but the way they are refusing people their own money back is a disgrace and will be remembered once life gets back to some normality.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Holiday cancelled at the last minute due to COVID19 - we understand that's neither parties fault. However, it's now 2 weeks later, still no contact and I've tried for the last week to get through, emailed etc - nothing. I looked at alternative dates within the next year and the prices gave rocketed and I certainly now can't afford those prices. I'm a single parent and took on a saturday job so that that I could treat my children to this holiday and as I'm a TA in a school I'm tied to school holiday times. It seems from reading the replies on here that we don't have any chance of getting a refund - I'm devastated.

same as everyone else - refused a refund even though they cancelled the holiday. Customer service rude, if you can get through to them at all. To those in the same position - if you paid for your holiday in the last 120 days on a debit or credit card contact your bank and raise a dispute for the charge. Explain you have been in correspondence and service not provided and refund refused against legislation Law Reform (Frustrated Contracts) Act 1943 and that you have no recourse but to raise a dispute. Claim takes 30 days, but you should get your money back.

Shameful practice in theee times. If they survive they will go bust as the public will remember such poor practice once we beat Covid 19, they will have destroyed any trust customers have on them. A shame as I have used them many times over the years, never again. I feel for the staff who will be out of work but the company deserve it. I want a refund please.

No refunds for us. We managed to speak to the site we were booked at and they informed us that had also had to pay their money back to Hoseasons!

We have experienced the same treatment as many other I have read, with Hoseasons refusing to refund our money after they have cancelled our holiday,however I have spoken to Trading Standards today, who tell me, we can accept an alternative date, but if not they have to refund our money. My thoughts are the same as many,the country is going through hard times yet they refuse to refund a holiday that they cancelled,had the same with Expedia but they offered a refund before even asking.Hoseasons didn’t fulfil their contract in supplying me with the accommodation so regardless of what they say I’m sure were all get our money back some way.I am disgusted with hoseasons and hope they take a big hit and deserve to be one of them unfortunate companies that will be put out of business due to the current situation, I hope everyone who has had dealings with this company writes a review and this will damage the company as I wouldn’t book through them reading how they treat their customers and believe many others will think twice.

Our holiday got cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak. They didn’t contact us within 7days as they promised on the cancellation email. We spent 3 days trying to get through to them to be refused a refund. They said we can transfer to a different date, won’t honour the price or the discount we initially received, meaning we’ve either got to lose out on the money we’ve paid or pay double even triple to change dates & we still may potentially not be able to go on it! I know it’s not their fault but it isn’t ours either. They’ve stitched everyone up & got us all over a barrel. Never known much horrendous customer service from a company.

Our holiday was cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Refused us a refund but said we can transfer to a later date... but we would have to pay the additional costs to go on a different date!! We booked in January and got a really good discount and won’t honour this!!! It’s going to end up costing us more than double to change dates, which we still may not potentially be able to go on. I know this is not their fault but it’s not ours either and they’ve got us over a barrel. Absolutely disgusted with them.

I agree with everyone on here regarding no refunds. I am in the same boat. We also have a holiday booked through them for August and I asked if they can transfer my April holiday money to that and no they can't do that!!! Do not understand why they can't do this. They are now holding everyone more or less to ransom so they have to book through them again if you want to see any sign of your money back!. Don't understand how they can expect people to book in advance now due to what is going on in the world at the moment. Totally disgusted with them! What happens if they go bust now?? All our money gone and I am sure like me most of us could really do with it right now due to been furloughed from work. Really angry and frustrated with them. Maybe with so many bad reviews they might think twice about what they are doing or lose a lot of peoples custom in the future.

Can't use companies like this after the pandemic. They cancelled 24 hours after I booked and have said they won't refund. Apparently I should have purchased cancellation cover - despite me not cancelling! Hopefully they go into administration as it would be easier to get a chargeback, however they won't go bust with all our money sat in their current account will they.

So my holiday has been cancelled due to Covid 19. Fair enough, we all get that. However. They are going to keep my money in their bank. No option of a refund. Well. If there was ever a way to doom the future of a company. It's the poor way this has been handled. I am contacting my Credit Card company and Holiday Insurance and will for the Sake of £99. Be taking Hoseasons to the small claims court out of principle. After using this company 14 times in the past. I would of used them again. Of course after Covid 19 gets all sorted out. Not now. Not ever again. How to place a company into Commercial Suicide. Keep the money of people that are looking forward to their holiday. Offer no option of a refund. Oh, and by the way. You will pay more because we have control over your booking. So we can make a bit more money from you...…..as well as the interest on all that cash!. Good Luck Hoseasons. Another company name that is going to the wall when run by greedy multi billionaire cooperation. Wyndham Vacation Rentals, which owns the Lowestoft-based holiday rental business, has been acquired by Platinum Equity for around $1.3bn.

What has gone wrong you pathetic money grabbing morons. You are giving no customer service just causing unbelievable stress to hard working families.Your holding back because of you have no cash flow so your keeping our money.You will not get away with this because nobody and I mean nobody will ever use again.Whose ever in charge should hang their head in shame.My Mum always said what goes around comes around.
