Over the last 10 years I've had quite a… Over the last 10 years I've had quite a few short breaks with hoseasons, many at bargain prices and many at what could be described as over the top prices depending on the time of the year I'm a disabled pensioner and so search for bargains whenever possible, a month ago I received an email off hoseasons telling me to check out the bargains they had on offer , within minutes of seaching my favourite area ie the English lakes I spotted a week in Windermere for £79 , this isn't unusual with hoseasons and they often have holidays at that price even in the lakes, depending at what time of the year, in fact their prices fluctuate so much a caravan or lodge can vary from £79 to well over a £1000 for the same accommodation. . I searched for this holiday and found it to be in December 2020, so quickly put down my £25 deposit, ( it was over a week before I noticed it was actually Christmas week 2020) confirming to my family that I'd picked us up a real bargain for next year I checked on the booking reference which showed everything to be in order and that I could pay off the balance in one payment or over 12 months. It was over a week before I noticed a missed call on my phone asking me to phone hoseasons, knowing this would be an hour long job just getting through the system I decided to decline the offer knowing if it was important they would phone back, it was over a fortnight before I got another call, I returned this call and as expected was kept hanging on the line for wey over half an hour, to be told they could not honour my holiday as it had been a mistake, by thus time I'd fully payed off the balance of the holiday which hoseasons had accepted and sent me out the recipts and directions to the holiday park...I hasten to add that I've picked up bargains like this before with hoseasons and have never had a problem as they have honoured the price shown, alas this time they are refusing to honour and using some feeble excuse that it was a mistake by a member of their staff when practising pricing, what a load of rubbish, I have screen shots throughout the whole process from photos of the caravan and site showing the price to the recipts and confirmations sent a month after the original booking...during this whole period I feel as though I've been talked to and received emails off robots,I've asked to speak to managers and have my booking explained in writing to no avail. ..My main argument over this holiday is that it's OK for hoseasons to price an holiday 1000% higher due to it being school holiday, but when they put up an holiday that they SAY ????was a staff eror that they can withdraw that holiday at will....One extremely annoyed customer.

We booked the Heron Lake Retreat with this company. Upon arrival we was told the log cabin was not ready and it was being cleaned but when we eventually got into the cabin it was dirty and very tired furniture nothing like the pictures that are on the hoseasons webpage there was dog wee on the wall it was disgusting we felt assured by booking as they told us we was covered with ABTA but this means nothing they do not want to know that we had to move three times in a 5 days day and came home early after 3 days awe had enough of the cabin smelling of dog and being dirty and the door fell off the grill !! We was left not knowing where we was being moved to what was happening with the grill and the door not working which is an health and safety issue do not be fooled and book cabins through all hoseasons as they don't want to know as well as heron lake Retreat they do not want to know they take your money and forget about you. you leave a message for managers to ring you back to been told that they would on speaking to customer service and they never ring you back please book with someone else as you're wasting your money and your time booking with this company I do not know how they get away with advertising that they are part of the ABTA. I asked to speak to a manager numerous times to be told there was no manager in the office to talk to me then eventually after being on the phone over 2-hours been told that there was nothing they could do they eventually said a manager would phone me back and after 4-months I am still waiting for that manages call.

This company needs naming and shaming as so many people are falling into the cancellation fee which is not clearly stated and hidden very well. I have contacted haven, Butlins, park dean and other holiday companies who were disgusted with hearing about hoseasons cancellation fee. They of course keep the booking fee and charge no extra cost or take you to court. Take it from me they will be very sorry on this matter. Words cannot describe this company.

we cut our holiday in a cottage at the Beacon Fell View holiday park short, the cottage was musty and damp, the legs on the nest of tables were extremely loose, we found a duvet with mould on it one of the wardrobes as well as mould on the sofa bed mattress, mould on the tiles in the bath room, I even had to top up the water in the boiler to get it to work. This was suppose to be part of our annual leave. I thought that every holiday home was checked and cleaned prior to new guests, we will think twice before booking again and certainly will never go back to this holiday park. I have asked the holiday park for their comments on my complaint, as yet not heard a thing.

Despite having to upgrade our booking from a £650 booking to a £1499 due to enexpectedly having a baby and our original booking not being big enough they are still charging me £150 cancellation fee for my original booking. Day light robbery. Will never use again and do not recommend

I actually rate hoseasons a nothing. I would ldeally book with the company instaed of booking through hoseasons. Never pay the £25 deposit as it results in paying £150 plus a county court judgment. There staff have no empathy to those facing financial difficulty. Obviously people will take the opportunity to use the £25 deposit as there finances are low. Instead Hoseans like to cause more stress by not only taking your deposit but directing the extra £125 required to a debt collecting agency. Distgusting.

Same complaint as many others, booked on so called low deposit of £25 but have had to cancel as can no longer afford holiday, but despite taking out their cancellation insurance I still have to pay another £125 to make it up to their normal deposit. so still ended up paying £150 for holiday they have plenty of time to resell as its not until July 2020

Booked into a Hoseasons caravan last week which ended up being a completely different caravan to the one they advertised. They also neglected to mention it was specifically adapted for disabled users with low kitchen units and appliances, plastic floors in the bathroom, rails and lifting machines in the rooms and the removal of basic furniture such as coffee tables and a veranda . It was like a quantum leap back to the 80's with a galley kitchen and depressing decor. As there were no alternative caravans or even parks (find that hard to believe) we has to stay and currently in the process of making an official complaint.

Worst company to deal with ever. Booked a cottage it said on the website a £250 security deposit. After the booking had come through the cottage owner wanted £250 two weeks in advance of the stay by BACS and will return 1 week after the stay providing all is in good order. This means there’s no financial security as it’s a separate transaction to hoseasons. In essence I’m given a complete stranger £250 of my money. If the owner wanted to she could keep it and I wouldn’t have a leg to stand on. Hoseasons don’t see a problem with this, and when asked if they would give a complete stranger £250 they refuse to answer. I wonder why? They also say that it states on their website that there is a £250 security deposit, to which I agreed, however what it doesn’t state is that this is done through BACS with no contract in place. They’re response well, you will get it back, my response how do you know? It could be a total scam and you as my agent aren’t protecting me. The agent didn’t answer that pure silence on the phone line. They’re customer service skills are shocking and they only care about taking your money.

This company is rotten to the core. I visited the website to book a pet-friendly cottage in the Lake District. I applied the filter to show only pet-allowed properties. I found a lovely lodge and duly booked. When confirmation arrived, it made no mention of my dog, so I thought I best call them to check. According to the agent, the website will show you non-pet properties when pet-friendly isn't available. I have to say, the customer service agent was as lovely as she could be, and offered to call the property to see if they would allow my dog. They have agreed, but at the extra cost of £170 (the cost of deep cleaning apparently). Reading through the other reviews, how can they still be in business?!

Do not touch this company! They book your holiday and they don't take responsibility what they booking. Becon Fell View park ,don't book anything there! I have book wide silver caravan through Hoseasons and we get small caravan by a main, noisy park road. We wanted to leave after 1st night but arrogant ,park manager offered refund only for one night. Hoseasons have done NOTHING!!!AVOID, AVOID ,AVOID this company when you booking your holiday.

Don’t touch this company as they hire premises on behalf of other people and then when something goes wrong it becomes he said/she said situation where the customer won’t win. En suite caravan booked that didn’t exist nor ever did at the holiday park. Caused problems for my elderly mother. Although have to give them top marks on one thing - quick enough to take your money.
