Shame I couldn't give it 0 stars! We booked with Hoseasons who described a lodge as a 2-bed lodge - It wasn't, the 2nd bedroom was the living room with a fold out bed from the settee. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids. The worst thing about it, they say this is justified as its a sleeping area, not a bedroom despite being listed as 2 bedroom. Disgusting customer service, have booked with Hoseasons the last 7 years, this is how they treat loyal customers - never again! If you have booked with them, I would check the number of bedrooms - I would hate for this to happen to another family

We have used Hoseasons for many years but they have just cancelled our family holiday that we booked months ago, without giving a reason. They did refund the money, however we have been left with no holiday and little chance of finding anything suitable in the same area for the same cost. I don't think we will be using them again as I would be wary of the same thing happening.

Don't book with hoseasons the customer service leaves a lot to be desired they don't care about your circumstances and try to charge you cancellation charges when you only want to make changes

These people are so rude once you have paid. I booked a lodge at a park that was far from anything else. But as it stated on website it has a pub that also accepts dogs. Do we had somewhere to go and get food and have drinks. When we checked in they said it’s been closed for 3 months for refit and won’t be open til next week. We checked out half hour later. I contacted customer services to say I should of been informed when booking they told me they have over 600 parks and couldn’t be expected to give every minuscule detail, and they said they couldn’t help me. I’ve used hoseasons for years but never will again.

Imagine turning up with your disabled child, one with a life limiting condition and 3 more kids only to be told your disabled lodge has been double booked. Fair enough if it was accommodating another disabled family but it wasn’t. They refused to offer the other family alternative accommodation because that family had something far more important. That’s right people hoseasons gave priority to the family that had a dog! Planning a family holiday with a severely disabled child is no easy task. The prep, the meds, the equipment, the research in to local hospitals, what’s accessible and what isn’t takes months and months of planning. Hoseasons sent this family away with NO alternative accommodation other that something with stairs. When your child can’t sit or walk and weighs 40kg with a chair that weighs half of that lifting is NOT an option. They refused to offer the dog family alternative accommodation because they couldn’t possibly put a dog in a non pet accommodation. But happy enough to put a disabled child in an unsuitable alternative. Mandy and her family had no choice but to repeat the four hour journey home with disappointed kids. So, there we have it. Hoseasons, I’ll be honest. You suck.

Basically, I booked the holiday in Great Glen Water Park in January for April 2019. During the search for holiday we chose this resort because it had swimming pool, bar and restaurant on site available for everyone with no extra charge. It was selling point to my family. But just this week I found out that all these facilities are not available, but prior booking the holiday this information wasn't provided. It wasn't highlighten on official Great Glen Water Park nor on Hoseasons official website. I feel tricked by  hoseasons, because all this information was hidden from me prior booking. And even when I have received confirmation letter it wasnt pointed just a little sentence at the bottom of last page in small letters stated that these facilities are not available.  In my opinion it is very dissapointed and disgusting service.

Criminals. I booked a Hoseasons lodge with a so called 'low deposit' on the website a few weeks ago. I just rang to cancel the booking as something's come up thinking ok I'll lose the £35 but I knew that. I was told by the customer care person that in fact I would have to pay the remaining balance of the usual £150 deposit!! I was shocked. I complained and said they are miss leading the public by calling it a 'LOW' deposit, all you are doing is paying PART of the deposit so the description is wrong. I was told 'it's in the terms and conditions', well of course it is, there's a surprise, not, no doubt they abusing a loophole by calling it a low deposit when it's not that at all!! I enquired about moving the date, they wanted another £31 on top of the PART deposit, shocking behaviour, will never book with them again.

Absolute crooks! They cancelled my holiday because they made an error in the amount of discount they applied, then went on to blame me for not realising it was an unrealistic discount, 3 kids in tears as their holiday isn’t happening now, no compensation or good Will gestures! Just we will refund the money you paid! Well gee wiz thanks hoseasons! Completely unsympathetic for their mistake! But wait for it I can still keep my holiday if I pay x4 the amount it was advertised for!

Hoseasons are an absolute joke. Booked a holiday to stay over Christmas at Swainswood Park in Derbyshire. The first night was absolutely freezing, we had a leak in the bedroom all night. The lodge was dirty and smelly I couldn't even sit on the settee it was filthy. The sheets and towels didn't smell clean and the spring's could be felt in the mattress all night. Rang reception next day to complain they came and fixed the leak and said we had to put heating on every 2 hour's. We decided to leave because we were not happy. When I went to reception I was told by a member of staff that no manager was on site and wasn't even offered another lodge or at compensation. I was advised to contact customer services which I did on numerous occasions but they only allow you to deal with them via email which then took 2 week's for them to decide that I wasn't getting a refund. Apparently the Manager saw that we had packed to leave which was a lie. After a few emails I complained to head office who said there was nothing they could do then offered me 10% which I refused as it was an insult. Don't use this company. It ruined my children's Christmas as that was my present to them.

What went wrong was Hoseasons taking a booking for a run down bungalow which bore no resemblance to the advert and then denying any responsibility.Absolutely disgraceful customer service.Once they have your money it's hard luck.I will be reporting Hoseasons to our Trading Standards office and getting advice on going to the small claims court as it is obvious that Hoseasons will do nothing.BEWARE of dealing with Hoseasons, you have been warned.

Our family Xmas at Woodside Bay Lodge retreat (Isle of Wight) was ruined by Hoseasons' arrogance and total lack of responsibility. This could have been so different. The Lodge was great, the location exactly as described and the local staff very helpful - at least so it seemed. We arrived xmas eve for a 4 night stay over xmas. There was no hot water so the 'technician' (and I use the term loosely) appeared at 4pm and fixed the boiler... reminding us that xmas day was the next day so there will be no-one on site. We weren't aware but it was just a temporary fix, and predictably both the hot water and heating failed that night meaning we were left to freeze on xmas day. Nice one mate. I checked the boiler which was overdue for its service... and was losing pressure (and yes, I took pictures)... on boxing day in desperation I googled the boiler and worked out how to get it going again for a few hours at least. As soon as staff reappeared on site we complained but nothing was done about it apart from sending the guy round again to do another temporary fix that lasted a few hours only. Needless to say we raised a complaint with Hoseasons when we got back. The park offered us a 10% refund (£116) not even 1 nights stay, which doesn't come close to making up for the ruined holiday. We booked it through Hoseasons who were very quick to wash their hands of it and didn't take any responsibility for the problem. Will never use again - anyone can have a problem but you should take responsiblity and compensate accordingly. However they place very little value on customer satisfaction.or making sure their rooms/lodgings are fit for purpose. Avoid.

Do not trust Hoseasons customer service , as soon as a problem pops up they deniy any responsibility stating that they are just the booking agent and all they do is direct the complaint email to the unit owners . My friends and I stayed at Applewood country park near Scarborough , the unit was really old and damp, there was mould everywhere and it was disgustingly dirty . I took photographs that proved this to Hoseasons , who then sent them to the park saying it has nothing to do with them . Hoseasons sent me a copy of Applegroves reply saying the photos were not from that caravan !! I was gobsmacked at this and sent proof that they were , Applegrove refused to comment so Hoseasons said there was nothing they could do , If I bought a product from a department store and it wasn't fit for purpose I would expect the store to resolve the issue , What's the difference ? Hoseasons advertise and sell the unit therefor should hold some responsibility to the customer . Hoseasons you are RUBBISH and don't deserve the business you have .
