Had holiday booked in March ,but had letter from hoseasons to ask us if we wanted to rebook ,I sent email straight away to tell them we wanted to rebook for September ,they said we would hear from them soon .i sent another email didn’t hear from them ,phoned loads of times ,no answer ,sent them a letter ,no answer from them ,very frustrated ,as they have taken our money ,almost £600 ,disgusting ,

We have been scammed! Booked a caravan with hot tub with Hoseasons in Hemsby for July at a reasonable price during lockdown as my wife works for NHS and needed the break. Tried to pay for the balance with no success at all despite regularly trying, but they would not answer the phone and online system would not take the balance. We then contacted the caravan site direct to try and pay there, only to discover that Hoseasons had in fact cancelled our booking and sold it to someone else on 7th July ( 2 weeks before we were due to go) and no doubt at a much higher post lockdown price. When we finally got hold of someone at Hoseasons after literally hours & hours of waiting on the phone, they told us that they had cancelled the booking due to non payment and that we were not entitled to our deposit back, even though we had not cancelled the booking ourselves we had had no prior notification of the cancellation from them at all. We of course explained that we could not get hold of them to pay the balance, but they were not interested , and they then tried to sell us a more expensive package with our deposit money. We finally got the deposit back after a lot of discussion and tears, but they really didn't give a toss about us or our predicament.

First time I have booked with Hoseasons - and it will be the last unfortunately! Booked a midweek break on 5th July to start on 13th July. Received a few confirmation emails and directions, but no key collection details. Queried via dm on Twitter. Eventually directed to use the local contact number for the site. When in contact with the site owner on 10th July, I was then informed that the lodge I booked was no longer available for holiday rental! I should never have been able to book in the first place. So I had paid £689 for a holiday that didn’t exist! Cue a weekend of stress trying to speak to someone at the Hoseasons call centre. After hours on hold (when I eventually got through), I spoke to ‘Steve‘ who, to be fair, was pleasant and helpful. I got my refund after a few days. I appear to be one of the fortunate ones in this respect, although in this non-Covid related case, Hoseasons did not have a leg to stand on and if they delayed the refund I would have taken legal action. This experience has taught me to not trust what Hoseasons are offering as available on their website, and to be very concerned as to how the management are presently running this company. For them to sit back and allow customers to be treated in such a terrible manner regarding double booked holidays, mis-sold holidays, delayed refunds, unauthorised deduction of balances, last minute cancellations, and the extreme difficulty in being able to actually talk to someone on the phone is nothing short of a disgrace. I do feel sorry somewhat for the call centre staff who I can only presume are getting little to no support from their employers, and are no doubt bearing the brunt of everyone’s frustration. Businesses are rightly being judged as to how they have been behaving and dealing with the challenges this year. I cannot see how Hoseasons are going to recover from the way their parent company and management have made a complete mess of everything and how these people have successfully destroyed decades of a decent reputation.

I am increasing frustrated with the poor level of customer service provided by Hoseseasons. I have emailed on numerous occasions with no response and tried on numerous times to call but nobody is picking up the phone. No acknowledgements, no apologies, nothing! This is a very bad experience and not one that I would want to repeat.

Firstly it took us from March until July together back our money for a break cancelled due to coronavirus. As these circumstances were exceptional we booked a break today after holding on phone for an hour,holiday is next week.No sooner had I paid than the owner rang to let me know there were major building works going on next door! As this is advertised as quiet I tried to ring hoseasons, permanently engaged, I'm really fed up, service is terrible.

Rubbish customer service avoid booking through then rather go through Parkdeanresorts. They just want your money and don't answer calls or reply to emails. Hope they go bankrupt

Cancelled my holiday for two weeks time with no warning, no refund and cannot get hold of them! I have three disabled children who were all looking forward to our little break! So disappointing for them as we can’t access lots of places but found an ideal location through Hoseasons. Lock down has been really difficult and we were so looking forward to this. You reply to nothing..... Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or emails and your phones are constantly busy! Disgraceful customer care but quick to take the money!!!! 😡

Hoseasons you are a disgrace!! Don’t any one book with them!!! We have just received a telephone call from them saying that with less the 24 hours our holiday is cancelled!! Why?? Well there was an alleged computer error!!! The same computer error that made them ring us three weeks ago to say that out original boat was sold!! Yes sold!!! So we rebooked!!! My husband and I have worked the last 14 weeks for the NHS non stop. This was our first holiday as we are both mentally tired!!! But no you cancelled out holiday!!! Oh the comment you can have a refund because it’s our fault has not gone down well!!! And no I just can’t rebook my holiday don’t you know there is a pandemic on!!! You are a disgrace!!!

I am at the end of my tether with this company. our holiday was due to be at the end of March - the first week of lockdown! at the time they were not offering ANY refunds and we were talked into moving it to next year which will then cost us an additional 120 pounds for the privilege of not losing our money. Ever since they have amended their refund policy i have been trying to get through to them. I have sent numerous DM on FB, numerous emails, numerous comments on social media, and have spent hours and hours (12+) trying to get through on the phone. on one such occasion i finally got into a queue - queued for 1 hour 38 minutes and finally got through to a living being - for them to hang up on me!!! since then i have not managed to get through to anyone actually alive. most recently after 100+ attempts to even get through to their queuing system - the second i choose the correct query cue - the system hangs up on me! I have exhausted all ways to contact them. I appreciate we are in unprecidented times but we are talking months and months of attempting to get through with absolutely no attempt from the company to contact me back. this is having a serious adverse effect on my mental health, not to mention the hours and hours of my life that i will never get back - just to try to get the money returned that is rightfully mine. Its making me ill. We have had so many successful trips with hoseasons in the past - i would call us loyal customers - but not anymore.

I would like to warn other customers, this company will still try and take your balance even if you cancel in good time. I booked to go away on 25th July. Due to the Covid and my health conditions I decided to cancel on the 9th April. I emailed them 4 times to clarify my situation however, I did not receive a reply, With that in mind I cancelled my debit card so they could not take any more money.I made it clear I was cancelling in the email. The 4th of July would have been the day I had to pay my balance,luckily I had only paid £75 before hand. I was shocked to receive an email to say my bank had stopped their collection of the payment. Even if you stop your debit card and email more than once to make it clear you are cancelling hoseasons will still try and take the money! Please be on your guard I will never book with this company again and I been a customer for years.

Just looking down the list of reviews and one stands out, it's from someone called Lea. Given 5 stars??? i think that Lea must work for Hoseasons or one of the other company's in the Awaze group. I would strongly recommend that you should never use this or any of the other company's in this group. The next question is, how did you communicate with the company? That's a joke emails NO ANSWER!!! telephone 22 phone calls over 3 weeks NOT ONE ANSWERED PUT ON HOLD TWICE GAVE UP AFTER 1 HOUR. Next question how quick did the company reply? under an hour 2-3 3-6 or 6- 12 hours, i'm sorry i think should have been WEEKS NOT HOURS. There was one more choice ( over an hour) that should have been NEVER!!!!!!

Impossible to contact by phone, snailmail or email. All number are unavailable permenantly or simply not quoted on invoice Any error.... Big trouble Particular problem.... Booked hol 2021 in error... Also booked 2020 but no way to rectify.... Transfer 2021 deposit to 2020..refund etc

Easy online booking...but that's where it ends. Hoseasons ordered affiliated boatyards not to take direct bookings, but you'll never be able to get through on the phone, and they never reply to emails or messages on social media. An absolute joke of a company who have made no effort to deal with increased call volumes despite their fairly obvious uplift in revenue. Disgraceful, and definitely one to avoid going forwards.

No communication possible. After being 'on hold' for several hours, they just stop the connection. That is going on for a week now. I tried to contact them a day before my payment was due, as discussed with them earlier, but there is no way to get in contact with them again. AND I REALLY TRIED EVERYTHING! Now I had to pay more than 3000 pounds for a holiday I cannot attend, since the Dutch goverment does not allow me to go on a holiday in the UK.

Booked in 2019 to go to a lodge April 2020. Cancelled in March because of COVID. It is now July and after emailing at least once a week, ringing the phone line which never ever connects, and messaging privately and publicly on Twitter and Facebook, not ONE email or response back to me. Disgusted that they were at first refusing to refund and now ignoring customers that are trying to rearrange/get refunds. Considering I have been asking since March this is not too much to ask. Price are also double what they were pre-covid so it’s not like the holiday cancelled can be moved dates - you would have to pay the difference of the new price.

My hoilday money you owe us.all because we can not go on our hoilday.because are vulnerable and will not refund us or a voucher in these difficult times you have no compassion or heart will tell everyone I know not to go on hoilday with your company not to trust you and your customer service is rubbish I am contacting the CMA.and the court.very wrong what thay are doing to people.

ZERO for customer Service .Hoseasons, I have been your loyal customer for such a long time. But you have not handled the Covid-19 situation well.. I have been waiting for over 2 hrs on the customer service call and emailed them , facebook Dm them. they completely ignored.. You are losing one more customer today. I will never book with Hoseasons again for providing such poor customer service.
