Parking at Nuffield Hospital York is free, because there are no meters, but no, you have to put your number plate into a machine, which nobody tells you about when you arrive or on appointment letters. I'm expected to know about this system, which in my lifetime I've never heard of. I received a parking fine, complained and got it rescinded. I was willing to take it further, if it wasn't. I don't like the fact that private parking company has got access to my details. I nice money making racket going on.

NCP London Derry House Birmingham - Myself and my husband both parked on the car park in separate vehicles to do a bit of shopping in Town. When I put my ticket in to pay I was astonished when it said £25.00!!! To the point where I even had to ask another customer if it was correct as I was in complete shock. It cost us £50 to park both cars for a few hours to do a bit of shopping!!! I think this is disgraceful and the charges on entry should be much clearer. I would of never parked here if I would of known. In today’s society where there are significant financial struggles £50 is a huge amount of money. It was really stressful because I had not accounted for spending an extra £50.

on 21 August 2021 went to Worcester for a meal, decided to use NCP car park close to restaurant, downloaded park pass to get free one day parking do not understand how it worked I did not realise you had to put the pass on the same day as you were using it, very difficult to understand how it works because I suffer with dyslexia went in to the car park with the Q code and exited with the Q code when I got home I was charged for the parking, very difficult to contact customer services there is one number they just do not answer it if you are in the car park or outside I think NCP car park is just one big money scam.

Parked car went to buy £4 ticket, no cash accepted, didn't understand instructions, train came, left without buying ticket, had panic attack on train. Kind fellow traveller gave me NCP phone number, first call ok, then put through to register account, pin number, credit card details etc. Got cut off as train went through tunnel, started again, ok this time. The couldn't put in car reg. number as instructions unclear, finally ended up with a person again who sorted it but I couldn't hear very well. Man spoke like a machine. Older people are expected to understand all this-left feeling like an idiot, very stressed. Then train delays all day...Will never use NCP again.

Really horrible experience, don't choose this car park. My car got locked in the car park and I have to pay 100 pounds. I received no feedback or refund from the service desk! I stopped my car at the NCP Portman Square parking lot on Monday around 2. As I was leaving at approximately 3:45pm, but I cannot leave the car park as both gates were malfunctioning. Together with 7 other customers, we waited at the exit gate for over 45 minutes. We have tried to contact the car park customer services and support team, but we received no response! In the end, I had to leave my car at the car park due to an urgent meeting. Because of this I have to pay 100 pounds extra parking fee.

No security. Drunk and homeless people in the stairs. Stinks of urine. All these things combined meant our car was broken into. Customer service awful. I was on hold the phone for 40 minutes. The car parks are so expensive I expected some cleanliness and security as a minimum. Why would you use an NCP over another car park?? It offers nothing for the extra cost. Not fit for purpose. Any other item purchased that wasn’t fit for purpose you’d be entitled to a refund. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

How many of you have received a letter from a debt collecting company collecting for NCP . I've received such a letter for an offence that happened nearly 3 years ago , and I think this is a SCAM by NCP . I paid the fine , after all this time I cannot prove I did . This is where the SCAM is .

I paid for one of the car parks by NCP on a JustPark app, also paid for extension which turns out I didnt need as I came back early. Received an NCP notice for £100 with photos showing me leaving well within my time, disputed with the payment evidence and they rejected the evidence and that I can no longer dispute. Never again dealing with this day time robbery.

Following receipt of two PCN’s, followed by two debt recovery letters relating to a non payment of parking charges it was discovered that I had inadvertently paid to park on a different NCP car park - a few hundred metres from where I was parked ( actually on an NCP car park). My mistake had occurred after I had downloaded the NCP Parking App and my location incorrectly recorded by the App’s GPS. Phone calls to the debt agencies were pretty unproductive however when I resumed communications with NCP, and informed them that I had identified the ‘problem’ the matter was efficiently dealt with and the PCN ‘filed... no further action’ During the initial period (following receipt of PCN/debt collection letters) I wrote a single star review which I have now withdrawn. I am pleased to submit this revised review to clarify matters. Once the ‘problem’ had been identified it was ‘sorted’ by the NCP staff within 24hrs. Thank you.

0 Star Review Scam Company Paid and returned early. Paid cash. The machine said "no ticked issued". Was suspicious but as the machine had taken my money I naturally assume I'd paid for the service. Recieved a PCN claiming I hadn't paid. Ignored it. May letters later they've forwarded their claim again me to County Court and are threatening me with a CCJ. I dont have any proof of purchase to support my defence so I wont have much credibility in my counter claim that I will be making. To be a victim of a criminal system like this foes not feel good, especially when they have County Court covering the backs.

Well you could say, what went right ! I parked in one of the NCP car parks in Northampton, St. Peters Way. I was feeling unwell, and on my way to receiving a Covid Test, I couldn't have been there much more than 20 minutes. I went to the ticket machine, which didn't use cash, so I booked the ticket on my phone, or so I thought. However, imagine when I received rather a nasty letter from so called NCP Car Parks, that I was being fined a £100, due to not having paid for my ticket. I checked my bank statement, and found that £1.30 had been paid to NCP Car Parks ! However, even after sending a copy of this statement, the NCP said it was unacceptable, and asked for more proof, a screengrab, whatever that is. I am not very good on the computer, so had to ask my husband to help me with this. I do pity someone who has to deal with this, and does not have a computer or is no too tech savvy. I am still awaiting the outcome, but I will not use one of their car parks ever again. You are not even allowed to telephone anyone ! How convenient is that ?! All you can do, is join their so called web chat, which seems to be staffed by robots, for all the sense and help you can get out of them. Please, if you do have the misfortune to park in one of their car parks, be very careful,as they are faceless bureaucrats.

We used the NCP car park in Little Berrington Street, Hereford, one evening. The car park is not particularly well lit and it was dark. We went to the machine and inserted coins to cover the period of parking and the vehicle reg. Imagine my amazement when I received a £100 parking fine. I disputed this. NCP replied advising that the facility to pay by cash has been withdrawn. We did not see any signage to indicate this, and the machine swallowed the money. I was offered a reduction in the fee, 'as a gesture of goodwill', which meant the fine was £20. There was no offer to refund the parking fee which had been paid. I was still unhappy. You are able to dispute this via an appeal process, with POPLA, but if you do and lose then you have to pay the full £100 fine. Basically this is like blackmail and they have you over a barrel. As a country we have the Ombudsman Services to report such happenings, but NCP also advise you that they do not participate in this service you have to use POPLA. This again is wrong, the Ombudesman is an indpendant appeal system, what right have they to tell you that you can not use it. I know due to Covid some parking machines are only taking cards, but some do still take cash. This is usually detailed clearly on the machine, since they didn't state this and the machine took the cash how can I be in the wrong?? I was able to send one appeal, when they came back and said that the machine was card only, I could not go back and further appeal giving more relevant facts, that I did not realise were crutial when I sent the original appeal, I was just saying at that stage that the parking charge had been paid. It is a complete con.

Parked in Adam Street Car Park in Cardiff. I have received FOUR Parking Charge Notices for four different days in Sept.2020. On each occasion I had paid for a ticket and left the car park based on NCP's photographic evidence before the ticket ran out. What is NCP playing at? This needs investigation especially if it is being repeated? I am having to appeal each and every case.

2 penalty notices from this car park, 1 month apart. I have proof I paid for both. First excuse was faulty machines. Why haven’t they been fixed? They charge huge amounts to park here so it can’t be lack of funding! And the amount of penalty notices they send out is probably making them a fortune. Absolutely disgusted by this company

Parked in Cardiff Adam Street car park on Sept 26, paid £8.00 and left before time ran out. Just received penalty charge! is this just a scam carried out by NCP? or are they really this incompetent. How many customers would just pay up if they had lost the ticket.
