“Charged me $98 for parking which the parking rally said wasn't valid, the actual code didn't chime in until 1 hour prior to the performance so I paid an additional $43 at the gate because that's all it is, the parking garage looked at me like I was crazy for paying so much to have an invalid parking ticket. Concert tickets were sent from ticket master the day of and they weren't even valid, more expensive to use them. I will buy from ticket master only from now on. Not worth the over priced mark up”

“Would not refund me for a ticket that I had to repurchase at the box office. FedEx never delivered the ticket so tye venue told me as long as I had the order number and ID I could still get im. Turns out stub hub doesn't give you the actual order number as I found out at the box office and they point blank refused to give me the order number over the phone when I called them from the box office. I purchased a new ticket so the 300 mile drive wasn't wasted and submitted a refund which stubhub denied saying I didn't give them adequate time to investigate before the event as I should have known they had given me the wrong order number.”

“Don´t ever buy from stubhub. I purchased Taylor Swift Vienna concert tickets but the concert was canceled and I should have received 100% refund, but it never happened. Their customer service is really terrible and they will not help you. Everytime when I spoke with someone, I was told something completely different. and I heard so many times this "Your issue has been escalated, please wait couple of days", but they never wrote me any update until I contacted them again. It is still the same over and over, they don´t even try to solve my issue. And there are more people for the same concert but never get their money back. Really, just don´t trust stubhub. Just recently one of their agent even wanted for me to provide them my whole bank history of my payments since August, so I could prove that I didn´t receive the refund, I was really shocked by this but when I´m asking them if they can send some confirmation that they sent the money, they are not able to provide it.”
“I am deeply frustrated and hurt by StubHub’s handling of my situation following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. My area was left without power, running water, food, or gas for days, with internet service that was barely functional. Despite this, I was hit with a $600 fee from StubHub for being unable to fulfill tickets I had sold—tickets I wasn’t even aware of due to the complete loss of power.
I had initially listed the tickets on Ticketmaster, but since they weren’t selling and the concert was only two days away, I also listed them on StubHub to try to sell them quickly. These were expensive tickets, and I was trying to help a friend sell her ticket as well, since she had no service in her area. Selling those tickets was crucial to help me stay afloat after the hurricane.
After the power went out, I had no way to take down the listings on StubHub once the tickets sold on Ticketmaster. So when my tickets sold on StubHub, there was simply no way I could fulfill that order.
In the middle of this uncontrollable crisis, I did everything I could to try to resolve the issue. I called multiple times, only to be told repeatedly, “Sorry, there’s nothing we can do.” It wasn’t until after a series of calls that my claim was escalated to the right team, and now I’m being told it will take two weeks just to hear back—two weeks after being charged a $600 fee for a situation entirely out of my control.
What makes this worse is that this crisis was a natural disaster—a situation that no one can prepare for. It should be obvious that customers affected by catastrophic events need immediate support, not penalties. The lack of compassion and urgency I’ve experienced from StubHub is appalling. This is not just a policy failure—it’s a failure in basic human decency.
I have always been a loyal buyer and seller, but I will never use StubHub again. Their response to my situation during this disaster shows a complete disregard for the people who depend on them, especially in times of crisis. There is no excuse for this lack of empathy.
If you care about doing business with a company that treats you with kindness and understanding, look elsewhere.

“Bought tickets for my daughter’s first ever concert 5 months ago through Stub Hub. Tonight is the concert and the tickets never arrived. Called customer service 3 times and each time they say alternate tickets are being emailed to is only to say “No alternate tickets available”. We just drove 5 hours and spent over a grand on hotel, tickets, etc. and this is how we are treated. Our daughter is devastated which is a million times worse than the monetary loss. “Tried to purchase tickets for 12/13 NFR event. That purchase was canceled and tickets were issued for 12/10 event. When i realized the issue it was 5 minutes after purchase. Stubhub told me to resell the tickets and buy new ones. Reselling will cost me $225 if they sell. Zero help from customer service. Worst experience ever....”
“Are zero Stars possible? I have spent over 4 hours on the phone and chats trying to get tickets transferred and sold. One has been “claimed” but one hasn’t. I have received several conflicting emails -one says my tickets were sold, one says my listing was cancelled. I will never ever use StubHub again. The reps disappear from chats and end chats. “I purchased tickets to the Liberty Flames vs. Appalachian State Mountaineers Football game on Saturday Sep 28, 2024.
Unfortunately, western North Carolina, where the game was supposed to be played, was impacted heavily by Hurricane Helene, and the game was canceled, not to be postponed or rescheduled, as confirmed by the venue and both football programs.
Despite providing the email I received from the venue and multiple direct links to both schools' websites confirming the game will not be played, StubHub refuses to process a refund or escalate the issue higher
So far the customer service reps I have spoken with have been extremely unhelpful, and at times even unprofessional.”

“Stubhub is the WORST "marketplace" DO NOT USE THEM! We bought 9 tickets to Meghan Trainor in JUNE for the show on OCTOBER 8th. The tickets were never transferred to us. Show started at 6:30. We had been on and off the phone with them since 10am the morning of to be told at 7pm that our tickets were "just lost". They "confirmed with the seller" that the tickets were transferred to our AXS account. We called AXS and they had no records of our tickets and told us to call Stubhub back. 8 hours we spent trying to get these tickets that were bought and paid for 3 months in advance just to show up at the show with 0 tickets. All they said was "we are just a marketplace" basically saying it wasn't their problem and there was nothing they could do for us. We ended up having to buy new tickets at the box office at the venue spending additional money and I've heard horror stories about people not getting a refund so we spent roughly $2000 to see this show. Stubhub is the worst! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! THEY ARE A SCAM! THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!”
