“I ordered a mattress on 7/8/17 it was to be delivered 10/8 -14/8, the updates on the tracking were unsatisfactory. I found a contact address and communicated directly, I also contacted the seller who said on investigation the courier ran out of delivery time so returned it to the depot. When I e mailed XPD I was told they had tried to deliver it and put a card through the door, however there was no card. Also saying it would be delivered on 16th between 3.30 to 5.30 pm It eventually came on Weds 16th in the morning when we were out and was left in the porch. Next time I order something I will check who the courier is before I order! The seller was a good communicator and we were pleased with our purchase.”
“We bought a chair from The Range. It was to be delivered on Friday 28 July by XDP. It did not arrive. Finally it was delivered on 29 July at 18.00. After unpacking it and finding 2 faults with the chair The Range arranged for XDP to call and pick it up and take it away for a refund as no replacements were available as they had sold out and were not getting any more. It is now three weeks since it was requested for collection. They promised it would be collected yesterday but nobody came and nobody telephoned to say they were not coming either!. We can't have a refund of our money (£160) until the chair is back in The Range's depot.....WHEN WILL THAT BE!!!!”
“I have never experienced such a courier service like XDP express. I've ordered 2 x rugs from a company The Rug Shop on 9th August 2017 and they used XDP Couriers as the delivery option and gave me a tracking number to track their process. This XDP added info on their website as allocated to the vehicle, carded, etc....this been going on now for several days and delivery not been made yet.They stated that their driver attempted to make delivery and left me a missed card, NOT TRUE their driver never showed up and the only option to rearrange is to call their office which is a number 0844 charged to 50p per minute. This company should be banned in UK and not allowed to cheat their customers like this. I now decided to cancel this order and The Rug Shop for a refund of the money I paid. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!”

Wish I'd had the foresight to read the reviews first because they all explain our situation, over and over. Yet another incompetent company. How the hell do they stay in business?”

I took unpaid leave to be here and it was a mattress for my 7 year old so now he has nothing to sleep on. I tried to get a number for the driver earlier in the day but the depot did not pick up and the customer services was non existent too. “When our delivery did not arrive as promised in the 2 hour window stated in their text message we didn't think much of it. When I found out that the delivery courier was XDP I started to be concerned. And rightly so. The no show was not followed by reason or apology. Had to chase them up and after numerous calls (that were disconnected), left messages and incompetent staff, it was promised the next day (Saturday). Didn't hear anything. Nor delivered anything. Called main XDP phone line. They couldn't get through to the depot to find out why the delivery hadn't occured. I wonder if I'll get my goods. Pretty much a shambles of a company. I've started avoiding companies that use XDP as their courier as it's an exercise in frustation and a lottery of receiving your order via them!”
“The parcel that we received was a sapling in a tall box which clearly stated the box should remain upright.
We were in to receive the delivery but your delivery driver didn't even attempt to knock at the door.
Lastly but not least, the box which contained the sapling was left outside our front door UPSIDE DOWN. As you can imagine, the sapling was not in the best of shapes when the box was opened - one of the branches had broken off and most were squashed due to your delivery drivers inability to read simple instructions on the box which I'm sure are on many delivery boxes.
We would not use you as a courier if we had the choice and I can see from many reviews on your website that not many of your customers happy with your service either!!”

Found out from seller that the items were sent out again today to be delivered between 14.49 - 16.49 so not made a priority even after yeaterday ( and no one from xdp bothered to tell me again )!!!! SUPRISE SUPRISE it didnt turn up again AT ALL. Had a phone call back 6 hours after i left messages this morning to say they cant get hold of the depot but will email them to make sure it comes. 18.00 got through to someone who spoke to the regional manager who told her he would contact the driver and find out what is happening and would call me......and guess what....he hasnt called!!!! SUPRISE SUPRISE!!!! They had gone home for the day when I called at 18.40 even though apparantly they are there until 19.00 ....GO FIGURE so I am now £160 down on wages, 2 days of my kids hols wasted and missed a midwife appointment for my 30wk pregnant wife due to these low life useless scumbags!!! DO NOT USE THESE CRIMINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Delivery sms to say it will be between 14.19 - 16.19 . Called at 17.50 as it had not arrived. They said its out but driver is running late. 19.30 and still nothing, phones are turned off and wont allow messages to be left. Tracking system now say it has been returned to the depot for no reason. No one bothered to call me and its a huge dining table and 6 chairs so obviously not just been missed. Wish id read reviews first. Have complained to seller and will never be ordering through them again in case they keep using these people.”

“The tracking system stated the parcel was delivered 2 days ago and since then I'm been trying to contact XDP Customer Service, the depot and still nobody has been able to tell me what has happend to my parcel.
The depot person I spoke to, Kieran, was very rude and unable to give me any answer. He even said that the driver (James) is coming to my address to check if he left the item in the right place. Incompetency to best expression.

“I was expecting delivery on 01/08/2017 between 15:15 and 17:15, I rang them at 17:00, I asked the whereabouts of my delivery, they said delivery can take place up to 18:30. Delivery finally didn't turn up. The next day I rang them to find out about it, they said their system is down and unable to check anything. I checked their website at 10:35 am and according to that, they "attempted" a delivery and left a card. No need to say that never happened, no card or delivery. So I contacted the seller and he also had no luck with them....So I requested to cancel the order as the courier is just making things up”
“Waited for delivery - nothing. Received online tracking info only to discover that this hadn't been updated other than to say "Parcel re-direct" 3 days earlier. Several emails to XDP resulted in being told a different story each time "Out for deliver today.....apologies the label fell off....will arrive tomorrow for sure....we left it in a skip 3 days ago.....it was left on the doorstep 4 days ago".
10 days later and the parcel still hasn't arrived. They now say it was "definitely left on the doorstep 6 days ago" and that everything else I was told was "miscommunication".
But even if it was dumped on the doorstep (which we don't even have) then they left no card anyway.
Awful, awful service - basically dishonest to cover up incompetence.

I was told that I would receive my parcel between 2:05 and 4:05, after taking the afternoon off and waiting in all day there was no attempt of delivery. I tried phoning the contact number on the text message that I received however the line was dead so I emailed the company. It took them half a day to reply to my email. They did not even apologies for the inconvenience they just asked when would be best for re-attempted delivery. I replied straight away and told them I wanted the delivery by 5pm that day, it took them over 3 hours to reply informing me that my parcel had not been put out for delivery.
The best thing to do is ATTEMPT to deliver it when you say you are going to, the next best thing to do is apologies and update the customer rather than them forcing an apology from you if you have been unable to deliver it when you said you would. Also, I would advise giving customers a phone number that works or is answered as by the looks of your other reviews this is not a first.”
