I contacted the customer service department because my account was locked and i explained my situation and they were to get back to me with 24-48 hours. It has been for 4days and I have not heard nothing. I had explained that I recently moved from toronto, canada to birmingham, UK study for 2 two years. However, my credit cards were declined because my postal code had changed. I contacted the credit card company and resolved the issue. But my amazon accounts were never unlocked. I will never purchase anything from amazon again. Worst customer service I have ever experienced I had even emailed and provided documents to prove my identity. I was relying on this site to get most my essential delivered to me while I was quarantining here this is was extremely disheartening.

I was meant to receive a delivery today(15/09/2020), i live in a flat, the delivery driver rang the bell and more or less ordered us to come downstair to get the delivery saying it was very heavy, i went downstair to get the delivery and i don’t mind going downstair, when i went to get the delivery, i had three deliveries 1.baby wipes(not even heavy or big as he discribed) 2. wax(not even palm size and 3. wax strip(again not even palm size). he handed me the biggest of all baby wipes then i told him to put the rest two on top and asked his name, he straight away refused to give him name, made racist comment saying you are asian and all that and snatched the delivery that was in my hand saying you are complaining why should i give you saying i will call the police, at that point even the neighbour was shocked as she saw what was has happened from the beginning and she said she only asked you for your name, he started threatening and left also took the packages, when i look at my amazon order said it was cancelled by me which was not cancelled by me, i tried to make a complaint through live chat as it was impossible to get to customer service through phone call, and even the chat all they did was transferred from one person to another, i told them i do not want that person come and deliver again as we have elder and children living with me, they can’t even do that. they just did nothing i asked for chat reference, they did not even give me one. nothing, i am scared of that man harming my child and family if he ever does the same. and i got nowhere with the complaint. if there was any lower rating i would have given the lower rating than the one star.

Promised a delivery time, but emailed me on day of orginal delivery time to put back another 3 days, then email me to say they have split the deliveries to gurantee that date? forgetting they should of delivered it already, rang customer services, apologised, tried to say they had tried to deliver but i wasnt in, cut him off before he could finish as i have been at home all week and tracking shows no such attempt, then offers £5 and apologises because that the maximum he can offer, then speaks to a manger, alledgedly, says the systems went down all day at despacth centre, even though i had deliveries on the days this catastrophic failure was meant to have happened, then tells me he will put £10 credit in my account because that is the max he can offer!? what? wait, they upped the max in the last 5 minutes? i felt insulted and asked for somebody who deals with complaints or for someone to ring me regarding the issue, goes away, comes back and says he will send an email with complaint form etc...what was sent was a customer feedback form....absolute joke, i have raised an odr amd will fill every feedback form i can find, at no point this week was i informed of any changes or failures but they think thats fine, i am just one person after all.... just lies and scripted reponses

Usually Amazon is a convenient and good platform, but when things go wrong it is really miserable. I am now considering not making any new purchases. Long story short: I have made a return of 6 items via Royal Mail and I have a receipt for 1.2 kg parcel. Amazon claims they receive only 2 of these items (although they weigh only 450 grams!) and now they want to charge me for these 4 missing items! What is worse, I have received this news only 1 month after I made my return! I had to have many chats with agents, which are not helpful and I get useless emails. Another instance: My return to Hermes took more than 3 weeks to arrive to Amazon. And I have spent many hours in chats once again! All of this takes so much time! Amazon sometimes leaves parcels right at my door on the busy street, so they can get stolen. Reviews on Amazon are frequently fake. It is often so hard to find quality goods via search there. Due to these and other issues, I am considering to be very careful with any new purchases off Amazon.

You have stolen £450 from my account without my permission. I returned a hot tub and provided the tracked return info which you paid for but today you stole £450 out of my account and left me with no money due to your error. You say you will return money in 7 days. Which is ridiculous when payment can be made immediately by bank transfer. You then just send me an email to say refund processed but status still showing that product must be returned so probably take the money again in 30 days. Your customer service staff are useless and don't care at all. They just ignore you and cut the conversation. Disgrace will be certainly taking this further to trading standards etc

Ordered a ebook reader for my holiday, the package was left outside and never received it! Called amazon to explain, said they would call back the next day! They never called and an automatic service ordered a new one that would arrive nearly a week later! Even though I pay for prime! I tried calling for 4 days to explain this and there was a problem with the lines! I finally got hold of them on the day I was going away! Customer service was absolutely pointless, she cancelled my order and prime without even acknowledging the issue and no apology! Will not be going back to amazon

I bought a professional Canon camera from the Amazon Warehouse section as second-hand but very good condition. When I got the item it wouldn’t even turn on, the battery was fully charged and all options had been exhausted. I thought the return process would be as simple as any other order but no - the only option is a Hermes collection for sometime “in the next business days”. So basically all of us who work 40hrs a week are stuffed, and Amazon are asking me to pander to the courier’s vague, whenever-we-feel-like-it, schedule. The livechat adviser seriously suggested I leave a £300 camera with a NEIGHBOUR to collect or even worse “in a safe place” (AKA out on the street) with a note attached! Honestly you couldn’t make it up - take some bloody responsibility for your faulty product Amazon!!!!

Fraudulent activity on my account back in March 2020. Spent hours on the phone getting this sorted. Now received email stating that the item from March can’t be paid for so they’ve closed my account. I appreciate that the fraud side of things need to be looked in to but so frustrated with Amazon as this should have been sorted 5 months ago! Also have all my music devices and alarm clocks with Amazon and my Kindle too, which can now not be accessed for up to 48 hours due to my account being closed. 😡😡

I have ordered and item on the 29th of May. Even though the item was on stock when i ordered it,I did not get a delivery date. After a month still no delivery date but what is worst, the did not contact me to say there's something wrong. I have then contacted them every day spending at least an hour on chat with them trying to get this sorted / escalated. in the end they gave said that i have NO choice but re-order the item as it was stuck in their ordering system..bla bla bla. I have then re-order it on 2nd of July 2020 and was re-assured that a manager will personally be monitoring this and will update me,,guess what?! nothing happen till today when they have asked me to re-order the item as is stuck in the ordering system !!! UNBELIEVABLE !! They don't even know the history of it. I never had to deal before with their customer services but I have to say that this is the worst customer services I have seen in my life! People on their end failing over and over to do basic customer services and they're probably still being employed!!

The plugs are two pins not 3 pins uk standard this needs to be put on the product specification, as electrics and water do not mix relating to the lazy spa, returned the product and now has been lost, £630 + I have also paid £79 for returns. when the product is not to specification why is the ownership on the customer, also it is impossible to contact amazon and also the third party who sold the product emails no reply, no phone numbers. Ps you are on your own
