Salesman turned up for a "30 min" appointment which lasted at least twice that before we had to try and get him out by explaining that we needed to work. Wanted to use the WiFi, wanted a hot drink, wanted to use our toilet. Just classic tactics to get us to feel obliged to commit to them. Turned aggressive when we said we didn't want to make a decision on the day. Dread to think what it's like for vulnerable people who allow these people into their homes. A better company came and measured and left in 15 mins.

If only I read the reviews before going ahead with my order. If you are considering having windows installed think carefully before choosing Anglian Windows. £10k in and immediately 2 window frames had to be replaced due to install damage. The 2 new ones are worse, one the frame doesn’t fit so a a piece of odd plastic has been added to make the frame bigger, the other one has exactly the same damage but this time the fitters left having covered it up with silicone. The handles on one frame are at different hights, the handles on most frames are loose and seemingly poor manufacture. Oh and customer service????? Shocking. Honestly please think twice before parting with your money to this company. The guys that own this company should be ashamed of themselves for stealing hard earned money from honest people and doing such a dishonest job.

We just bought a bungalow in Canterbury and the seller gave the warranty documents which is still valid. I phoned the company to inform them about problem I’m having with their faulty forts to be told that I have to pay them £50 to register my name. £50 to just type a new address on their system is simply ridiculous. Avoid this company at all cost 😡

Avoid this company...a sales rep visited my 83 year old mother although she had cancelled the visit earlier. It was hard sell and he managed to sell her a door and a window for just under £5000. I found out about this because she was so upset that she had been trying to contact anglian for her deposit back of £750 which was taken within the 14 day cool off period. I spent nearly 2 hours being passed from one customer service agent to another...end result nothing and waiting for a call back. Crooks in the first degree and I will be taking this further. AVOID THIS COMPANY ... ROBBING AN OAP OF £750 AND CHARGING 5K FOR A FRONT DOOR AND ONE WINDOW.

10 years of LIES from everybody from the Regional Manager down to their DIY man in their local display shop. The warranty has now expired and I am no closer to getting the work completed with the windows that I paid for that can't be fully opened as they hit the facial boards. I have written two reviews on this so-called contract but Anglian are not printing them because it will show them up for the third rate company they are. Even their legal team was caught out trying to invent so-called correspondence from me but backed down when they were asked to supply copies of this for legal action to be taken against them. Good luck to anyone else caught up in a ten year battle with this bunch of crooked bosses and second rate installers. I have commun icated with them by live chat, e-mail and telephone.

After being persuaded by a salesman to come to my house rather than have a phone call quote, he spent almost 3 hours here despite me saying we would not be able to sign anything on the day. This was 8 months ago and they have continued to hound me from various different numbers since. I have not left a reviews until now and was not going to but having just had the RUDEST guy call me to ask yet again if I was interested in their windows. Telling me that this could not have been my experience and basically invalidating everything I said, when I asked why they were still calling me despite me asking to be removed from their list he didn't have an answer and lost his rag with me, hanging up. What an absolute charmer! Don't tell me this is not a company wide problem and then process to prove me right mate! Wouldn't ever touch them with a barge pole, steer clear, especially if you have vulnerable or elderly relatives.

The Anglian teams handling of customer accounts from the take over of Everest 2020 has been shambolic! Lack luster communication throughout regarding agreements in place and from survey to install. Asbestos sample results aren't worth metion to the custom apparently. Because keeping you in the dark is what they are all about! Their field manager is one of most unsympathetic and rude individuals I've every had to deal with. Stating it's "to late to change financial agreements" even though there were alterations from the original Everest deal reducing the amount of work and materials needed. I will still need to pay the full original amount. He was covering for the companies complete lack of follow up after survey. Will never recommend Anglian to anyone!

Worst installation ever! Plus Steve in the Manchester branch is an absolute fraud! Installation was a night mare from beginning to end. Please refer to the photos. Father and son team did a disastrous job. Absolute cowboys. Cowboys. My old windows were in better condition than my new. Shocking when you think we spent nearly 19k. When I raised this complaint I was told this was the best they could do. After 8weeks of back and forth I was done- I filed a complaint. The regional manager called me the same day and offered me a discount 5% to make the repairs on My property. I took it. Paid the full remaining balance. Conman Steve didn’t even clear the bill/ record the close of sale/ record the discount. now I’m stuck with legal arguing over the remaining 5% balance which should have been written off. Stay away!!! This company is a nightmare!!! I also found out the patio door didn’t fit because the cut the measurements wrong. They did not fix the problems. Just added putty and tried to fob the work off as repaired, save your money and mental well being. You do not need the headache!!!!

am having trouble getting the job completed (a conservatory). The process began in February, and I'm still waiting and hoping. I had to pay half of the quoted amount, so I can't back out now. The communication is poor, and no one cares about the clients. They only reach out to ask for money. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Look elsewhere and find another company.

By the amount of complaints logged in this section of Anglian Customer feed back it is obvious that the company has little or no respect for their customers. If they had, they would be taking giant steps to rectify the problems. I could write a book on what I have experienced throughout the 10 year warranty period. Therefore I will keep it as short as possible. When all the doors and windows were replaced it was noticed that four upstairs windows could not be fully opened as they were banging against the facial boards. This meant that the open and slide mechanism could not be activate on any of the windows. After many letters and phone calls the HQ in Norwich claimed that new windows had been manufactured, but after numerous calls to the Regional HQ and various Depots none were ever located. On six occasions they failed to attend appointments to resolve the problem with no apology, but when my wife suddenly died on a Sunday they were out and out rude to me for cancelling an appointment on the Monday as they wished to take a photo of work undertaken by a builder I employed to repair the damaged window surrounds caused by the fitters. Over the 10 year warranty period I have been visited by 4 "senior managers" who all claimed the problem was beyond their pay grade. I ended up driving over a 100 miles to speak face to face with the Regional Manager who refused to deal with me and all but pushed me out of the building and locking the door to stop me from re-entering the HQ. A week later when he was informed that I was a disabled War Veteran with over 40 years of HM military service he changed his tune and wrote to apologise and stated that the matter would be dealt with and that compensation would be paid to me. Needless to say he failed to keep that promise. I then put the matter in the hands of the solicitor who held my Will along with a large sum of money to cover the research of the past correspondence. A couple of months later I rang the solicitor for an update only to discover that he had left the country, closed his practice and disappeared. What has happened to the clients money and Wills? With the warranty due to expire in three months time I made a further 9 phone calls and 2 emails in the hope that the matter would be resolved, but to no avail. As for their Legal Dept they should be renamed the Illegal Dept as they either make up statements or change them to fit their needs. They claimed that they had a signed document from me stating that I had closed the matter. I have never seen or signed any document like that and requested a copy of this "fake document" to which they replied that only a solicitor could request a copy. (They were aware that my solicitor had done a runner but were unaware that I had copies of everything I had given to the solicitor.) The whole matter would require too much space on this web site, but even this thumb nail version would fail to reach a score of 1 and even a minus 10 would not high enough. Throughout the period of the warranty I have battled with two separate types of cancer in addition to the War injury problems. I have now been informed that I am terminally ill and not expected to see the New Year. I hope the doors that St Peter had installed were not from Anglian Gnome Wreckers or else I might not be able to gain entry.

Was a safe style customer, surveyor rang once but as I was unavailable didn’t try again, kept emailing Anglian but never a response. 6 months down the line after finally getting through to someone they say my order has been cancelled but nobody bothered to let me know. No help with trying to get my £1000 deposit back either.

If I could give them 10 MINUS stars I would. I asked for a quote £32,000 Immediately dropped to £12,000 tried to get me to sign., Then the telephone calls started the next day. I had 7 calls in 2 hours all from different numbers, pressurizing me to sign. everyone I said NO they rang me from another number. One was from some bar in Cardiff docks(,with horrendous reviews). The calls continued for 3 days. AVOID DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Laughable quotation from Anglian windows today - to install one 120cm bifold door (ne hole and lintel) and two windows (one existent and one new hole and lintel) - over £19,000. We had 10 high quality aluminium windows installed in our property last year and that cost us £10k all in, including building works (for new holes, old holes to be bricked up, new lintels installed etc). The person Anglian sent around to do the quotation was hopeless. He did not have a clue what he was talking about. He brought the wrong samples to show us, he had not read our file so he had no idea what our requirements were. It was a total joke. He claimed the brickwork for the 120cm bifold door would cost in excess of £5k. You have to assume they just don't want the business. Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

Disaster !!! Stay clear of this company. I had a call from John Stannard who was the manager offering me the best deal as the company had to fill their factory efficiently. My original quote was £24000 this came from someone knocking on my door I think it was a Phil who phoned to say a designer would come round ,this was a man called James White who was convincing and knowledgeable I didn’t sign as I wanted to speak with my daughter John Stannard then offered the job for £11800. What a joker. This company should be on Scam traders

My shed door was installed even though my electric wire was not isolated. The surveyor did not verbally tell me to isolate wire. Anglain windows went a head to install shed door knowing wire was not isolated. To my horror the installer accidentally cut the wire causing all of my downstairs sockets to trip and they kept tripping...Fridge freezer, oven and sockets not working...so stressed....Phoned Anglian Windows...they told me I should have read the small print...Mark Davenport the manager was very unsympathetic saying they are not electricians. So why did they go ahead and install a shed door knowing electric cable was not isolated. I would have isolated the wire if I was verbally told They should not have installed shed door causing us to have a exposed live electrical wire for 4 days until we got an electrician to sort this problem that Anglain windows caused. Avoid this company...and to add to my stress the top of the shed door is not sealed properly! Unbelievable

"I had a poor experience with Anglian Home Improvements. I had two appointments with no shows. After agreeing on a project price and paying a £1375 deposit, I was informed that a surveyor would visit to take measurements of the door and windows. However, after waiting for about a month, no surveyor called. I contacted customer service several times, who claimed they had emailed the surveyor, yet still, no surveyor called or emailed. After calling customer service yesterday, we spoke with a surveyor named Dylan Elgood, who I believe was supposed to complete the survey on 01/07/24. After my wife spoke with Dylan Elgood, he apologized for mixing up the dates in his diary. He agreed and promised to come and do the survey on the evening of 03/07/24. I waited all day and called Dylan Elgood, but there was no answer. This company is unreliable and untrustworthy. I do not recommend them. I will be requesting a refund."

Below I'll try to describe as impartially as possible the experience I had installing a new front door with Anglian. 1) Team A was sent to install the door, their incompetence and lack of professionalism was evident immediately. After 3h of trying to align it properly they started complaining about the factory, saying and I quote ''those idiots at the factory are lazy, they did not adjust the door properly, this happens all the time''. After concluding their job I realized the door would not lock properly, you had to force the handle way up, to a point of almost breaking it. Naturally I called anglian to re-install it. 2) Team B comes a couple of days later, they spent a few minutes examining, asked us who installed it, smirked hearing about team A and suggested the installation was completely wrong and we needed to contact the company to re fit it. Again I call anglian, inform them and set a date for another visit 3) To my surprise - Team A arrives again to ''correct'' their job. When confronted with the fact that Team B suggested the installation was all off, the leading guy informs me that Team B has a vendetta with him because he did not attend a wedding ??? (I know how crazy it sounds - this is not made up) Overall - STAY AWAY - the incompetence of this company - 6 months gone by and the issue is still not solved.

AVOID BY ALL MEANS!!! I had a trader coming to my property 2 days ago to install cladding. When negotiating the quote, he convinced me he is working under Anglian Home Improvement for many years and he specialises in cladding installation. Paid initial 2900£ as deposit for materials and weeks later I have been asked to pay another 1000£ to cover additional expanses caused by original supplier delivering faulty goods and requiring now to change suppliers etc. Month after chasing when works will start, person arrives with Anglian Home Improvement Van and starts doing work on half of the property. After doing first day work, we checked and been left in absolute shock of the quality and standards so we start chasing trader asking for explanation. Simple explanation was the walls of the property aren’t straight and there is nothing can be done to prevent slight imperfections. No waterproof membrane installed, no trims or anything… To make matters worse, I rung Anglian Home Improvements and asked if they are aware of such activity happening behind the scenes. Provided with all evidence of poor quality work carried out. The traders name doesn’t appear to be any part of their employees/subcontractors list. I do understand that but when I asked if they going ignore the fact the person carrying fraudulent activities using their name, member of customer service team, advised they can’t do anything and trader must bought their vehicle and is scamming people. Anglian will not be able to open any talks in regards to refunds or fixing any issues and neither they going to report fraudulent person to a police. I am personally absolutely devastated with not only financial loss but terrible installation and such nationwide company is not even willing to do a single thing.
