This company is a joke they fitted the my front door and after 4 months I cannot close the door they sent staff to change the lock but they discovered the door is bulky and needs to be replaced with a brand new door. I've sent over 6 emails to different managers and nobody has responded to me and during the 4 months. I have called every week and nobody can give me an answer. I Spent £4000 on this product, I don't want you to order from them and be disappointed, cheated and scammed and come in contact with the same problem, they gave me 20 years guarantee and that's a lie, my door is only 8 months old and i already have such a big problem with it. Must be very bad quality to have such a big problem only after 8 months.

This Review was posted on Trustpilot but they removed it because they didn't believe it's my own experience... However, this is based on my genuine experience! ------ I'm concerned that you cannot trust the positive reviews on Trustpilot for Anglian Home Improvement because they offer a discount that is conditional on leaving a review, among other things. The trustpilot box you have to tick clearly states "...have not been offered any incentive or payment to leave a review for this company...". So many of the reviews here are probably invalidated because Anglian provide an incentive, in this case a discount, if you leave a review. You could of course still leave a negative review if that was warranted, but most people will likely give a positive review because they'll be worried about any consequences of a negative one. After the salesperson (in the guise of an 'engineer') visited our house, we wrote to them with a couple of questions, and were genuinely interested in going ahead with the purchase we'd agreed upon. However, there's been no reply, not even a holding email, which fits with the many negative reviews about this company on various websites (customer care is apparently very poor). The salesperson told us that their products will last at least 25 years but for some reason they can only give a 10 year guarantee. Clearly something amiss with that.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU USE THIS COMPANY.. Door ordered, first installation date cancelled with no reason 5 months after order, door installed. door not installed level, square. door lock not working Manager inspected door and said was not installed to "anglian standard" They reinstalled door. dust everywhere. yes they put up dust sheets but not much good if they have massive holes in them... NEVER EVER USE THIS company..

I definitely do not recommend Anglian for double glazing. Problems all the way through after numerous calls to try and speak to someone the manager finally came round to have a look at work completed. We explained and showed him shoddy works one example is in picture shown he stated its not that bad !!! There are other faults as well with the windows and trims. He agreed to get workmen to come and rectify problems in 2 weeks and guess what after more phone call now a couple of months later still no sign of anyone. As you are aware Anglian are not the cheapest for double glazing so we expected a decent job for £9,000. Will never use the company again.

Same as some of below comments. Ordered 3 windows in March 21. Told 10 to 12 weeks. Supposed to be fitted today. Fitting cancelled yesterday for the 3rd time. Not even given any idea when will be fitted. Asked for deposit back but told non refundable and should read contract. Why is this company still selling windows and saying 10 to 12 weeks! Really angry

Do not order!!! We ordered our windows /doors in March 2021. Told they would take up to 12/14 weeks . However never heard anything thing so contacted them. Told Covid in factory so shut for 2 weeks now looking at August 2021. Now asked for a date to put holiday in and was told end of sept21. Yesterday they told us the earliest is Oct 21. Phoned a sales person and asked if I purchased some windows what’s the waiting time for installation! 6-10 weeks! What a joke! We are cash buyers and now think because we are not using finance we are being pushed back . However they took our deposit but unfortunately we cannot get it back as you have 10/14 days cooling off. What a joke as at the 10/14 days period we were expecting are windows within 12/14 weeks! We had no communication of them updating us , we had to do all the phoning. So who knows we could still be waiting another 12 months or more as were in catch 22. Even though Covid has effected two weeks at the factory it still shouldn’t be this long. To think new customers are now being told 6-10 weeks how does that work!! It is false information but once you have paid your deposit you can’t get out! Surly something has to be done. I’m very very disappointed and don’t like writing things like this but don’t want people to fall into this trap

Anglian windows made me very sad.order a patio window April 20thto be fitted july14th.Cancelled 9oclock that very morning after two previous fittings were also cancelled.We have today been told it will now be Sept 9th.Customer service is non excistant.July 28th is the day they are in breach of contract.We will be taking legal advise about getting our £400 deposit back which the citizens advise are helping us with.Stay we’ll clear of Anglian windows.

Throughly shocking experience. Sales team cold called and offered 30% discount on all services and a negotiate price was agreed. I was then pressured into paying a £1000 deposit to guarantee the "special offer" or i would miss out. The paper work was not correctly filled out. Surveyor was rude, and then told me the work was going to cost more, despite all measurements being given pre- hand for the drawings. Over the next 3 weeks I got several calls from the finance team who basically said "the team upstairs are not happy and have valued the work at £6,500 more thsn the negotiated price". I then asked typically how much work would usually cost and they gave the same figure. Effectively lying about the inital 30% discount. I sourced my own independent pricing from 3 reputable contractors for the work required and the price was 15% cheaper on all 3 quotes. It took Anglian 6months to repay my £1000 deposit. When I complained about my experience I was told it was a sales team issue as they get paid per booking and will "tell you what you want to hear". I would strong advice not using Anglian

I cannot tell you how much I would NOT recommend this company. I've had 5 service calls for a front door that was fitted in 2018. Here's my experience: Calls 1, 2, 3, and 4 were because the door continually dropped on its hinges. It has a 'thumb turn' on the inside and a key turn to open on the outside. When the door drops, the thumb turn won't work and the door won't open from the inside or outside. My 82-year-old mum and kids simply couldn't exit the building from the front - so a serious fire hazard. Each time I complained an engineer came after a few weeks (yes, a few weeks) to re-adjust it. Then in December last year, 2 of the four glass panels blew. Again, I called Anglian. This time an engineer came after 2 months and not another peep. I've recently contacted them again in July to find out when (if) they were every planning to come back and requested a replacement door of better quality. They quoted section 18 of their T&Cs at me, told me they'd done what they needed to do and said if I didn't want the glass panels fixing they weren't prepared to do anything else. THEN they closed the case, without even speaking to me, even though I'd asked for a telephone call and provided my number! Please, please, please DO NOT use Anglian. I can see others have had similar experiences. We had our windows fitted last year by Safestyle and they've been absolutely amazing. They've had to do a few adjustments and one replacement - no questions asked, and super quick COVID-19 friendly service.

Lousy rip off company doing shoddy work with incompetent staff who do not know how to do a professional job.Totally messed up a roof cladding job. Staff with bad attitude,argumentative. Avoid these people at all costs as they are useless.

Orderd door for front and back in March, was told at the time installation would be mid July. Heard nothing from them so called in June was told now November for install. After trying cancel they immediately threw in the clause 9b 7 day cancellation had expired. However this was based on a mid July install. Fast forward to today and received an email saying install would be December 21st. More than 10 months for two door. Ridiculous service and complete and utter fabrication by sales team who will do anything to get the sale. Do your self a favour and look else where.

The window fitters for our windows and doors were really nice and friendly guys. Unfortunately the Manager from Glasgow who visited our home regarding repairs of faulty fitting, no seals on windows, front door not locking and sometimes not even closing, was dismissive, rude and unhelpful. Anglian did not take our calls or said someone would call us back then did not. They were not interested in us as soon as we paid them the £13,000 for the windows and doors. None of the people we spoke with on the phone helped us, listened to us or treated us respectfully or made us feel like we were customers who were valued. I wish we had stayed local. I would not recommend Anglian.

Had window fitted today. Trevor & craig were excellent. Introduced themselves on arrival. Tidied up at the back of them. You wouldn't have known we had work done. This is the 3rd time we have had work done with anglian. No complaints. Excellent job done

Ordered three window panes in January, now July and been told won't be delivered until September. Promised numerous phone calls back but to date have not been called once. Ignore emails sent to them. Every time we call we're told the same thing, that they'll look into it and get back to us. Tried cancelling the order in June as it's taken so long but told we couldn't as panes had been made but still not going to be delivered until September. Even offered to go pick up the panes and was told we're not able to. Having to go through our bank or possibly small claims court to try and get our money back.

I had new bi folding doors fitted seal lasted 4 months rang to book a slot to sort it in April and I am Still currently waiting... dismal customer care.

Shoddy company. Heavy handed in house lawyers who don’t know the law. They are an incompetent company who then sent your basic statutory rights like refusing to pay return postage for faulty goods. (See extract from their letter). Avoid this company at all costs.

Well where do I begin 17th of March my windows and doors went in apart from my main front door . I was told a manufacturers problem , because it was the wrong size wrong colour,After a handful of excuses and emails I’ve now been told they’re still waiting for my front door . Six weeks ago they told me they were waiting on a frame for the door , Before that they told me the door and frame had to be returned to the manufacture we are now 12 1/2 weeks later. Sick and tired of all these lies and excuses on the 18th of March I was told it was ordered and it would be classed as critical It will be replaced within 4 to 5 weeks not so true .

Extremely poor! Composite front door fitting We had a composite front door fitted. It looks lovely, although we were (and still are) unable to get in and out easily. The door was not fitted in the correct position (only by 1-2mm so not much) so the lock mechanism does not slot into or release from its keeps. We asked the fitter, the site engineer and the manager to visit the property and fix the problem. They tried spraying the door with grease, shaved some metal off the hinges and some other stupid and unhelpful things. We complained to customer services which was a waste of time. They absolutely don't care! And equally are not concerned that we (or anyone visiting us) are unable to use the door. We contacted the lock manufacturer direct who provided us with their guidelines on how to fit the door so the lock can release easily and an engineer from the lock company even went to the trouble to Facetime us so we could show him the problem. He agreed that the door was not fitted to specification and, although we sent this information on Anglian, they simply dismissed us and told us the door is fine. Although it is perfectly clear that the door is 1-2mm in the wrong position, the only solution offered by Anglian was to install a knob so we can push and pull the door to release the lock mechanism (rather than just turn the lock and open the door)! We were told by Anglian that it is standard practice to push on a door (on the inside of the house going out) to release the lock and pull the door towards us (from the outside going in). I have never had to use this manoeuvre to open any door ever! I was even told that Anglian have no obligation to install this knob - it's a gesture of goodwill! We did not accept their gesture! The door simply needs to be moved 1-2mm. I asked customer services about their complaints procedure and I was given an email address to make a formal complaint which I did. Guess whose desk the complaint email landed on - the same person who provided the email address - the same person who has been dismissing me ever since the door was fitted. So don't bother complaining - they simply don't care. I find it disturbing that such a well known company can be satisfied that they have left customers unable to use their new front door. The one engineer who was able to open the door with ease was around 6ft 5" and built like a tank! We were told the the door would loosen up in time. Well, six months later, we are still unable to open the door! In essence, I would vehemently not recommend this company! They are not only rude, uncaring and dismissive - they will not resolve any issues you may have! And there is no complaints procedure.

really bad installation awoid I giwe one star because there is no zero to discribe quality of this company. On installation day all was perfect till I pay money. After all change for whorse. Door was installed wrong way with large gaps between frame and frame was damaged cracks and holes drilled and llefted. Book service Whait for reply about two months they came only after my call where is team? That day they came for adjustments only ....waste of my all day. After another month they reinstall my frame still not correctly but ok. After two weeks changes start cracking and bits filling off. Also book service ..this time nobody show up . No contact with me at all. I rebook my servive and again nobody show up. Still no contact withe. Complitly Ignoring problem . Pepole! newer ewer! use this company it's not worth your money time and energy. Any builder from street will install this better than Anglian did department from Basingstoke. Customer service newer replay for my emails. Again ignorance. Anglian you better do something because at the moment this is contract breaking rules ... I will make sure nobody who I know will be your client .
