Avoid like the plague. Had windows and doors fitted two years ago by Anglian Windows. I’ve been renovating house since 2018 and had the first opportunity to open front facing windows when handle came off in my hand in 2020. Fitter had bogged handle on with glue. On looking at it he had snapped off drill bit whilst drilling and then tried unsuccessfully to drill another hole beside it and again snapped another drill bit off leaving nothing more than a mess. To cover up his actions he glued the handle on with glue knowing that no one was living in house. After so so many calls emails letters and missed bookings that they failed to turn up. After a year I had an engineer arrive with a new window. He looked at my window that needed replacement and said without even coming into the property it’s the wrong size window. Again phone call after phone call two years on still no replacement. I’ve tried everything and without success. Please use another company they will never keep to what they say. False promises followed by terrible service and customer care is a joke. I am going to take legal action as I think a lot of people are in the same predicament but run out of steam as it’s mentally draining. Well let’s hope 22 brings a better out come when I take them to a small claims court.

Sales rep friendly until we refused offer then completely changed into an arrogant pushy actor who wouldn't leave. Not impressed and Will NOT recommend. Felt extremely uncomfortable in my own home.

poorly fitted windows 3 years ago, draughts in all windows, 1 shattered window that took weeks to fix, mortar around windows poor (mixed by side kick with water from water butt!!) fitter had flu so left inexperienced "side kick" to take windows out & fit some & mortar surrounds. Have had to have someone out several times to fix the issues, only to have to call again! handles failed & replaced with very different handles, so mixture of handles now! Came to decorate in one bedroom went to remove wallpaper only to find large area of loose plaster, rang to arrange sort out to be told this was not under guarantee, despite them not completing it at the time!! lots of things poorly done. very unprofessional sale man slagging off other companies & offering us cheaper quotes. would not recommend this company for anything!!!!!

Very disappointed, poorly designed and don't seal properly. Ordered safe and sound glass to reduce noise, however not as good as the windows we had taken out. The glass didn't reduce noise but increased it. Complained as one of the windows was faulty, think broken also other issues as well as the fitters breaking and outside light. Waited weeks for repair to the window date only for them to ring on the day and say a previous job had taken too long and couldn't come. Waited another maybe 6 weeks for them to come and although they tried the windows don't seal and reduce noise. Took from ordering in May 21 to doing the best they could in November 21. Seriously Don waste your money, there are a lot better out there

We were advised that triple glazing would reduce nearby road noise (it doesn’t) and was informed by an installer that they should have sold us acoustic glazing. 7yrs on, window handles are breaking due to a known fault with the plastic mechanism. It took 2mths for someone to replace them only for a different one to break within a couple of weeks. This time, a replacement handle was posted out for us to change it ourselves, only they sent one of the old style ones with the fault! Today, the match on our front door won’t retract and so the door cannot be opened. We have paid over £100 to a locksmith to make the door usable whilst we wait for our service request email to be dealt with. AVOID this company!!!

Booked for roof trim and guttering to be done back in March, didn't contact us until June to book and told us it would be fitted in December. We were sympathetic over the delay with covid etc. However fitting date arrives and Anglian are a no show, when we contact them we were told delayed by two days, we asked for a call back and nothing, then told delayed further, but scaffolders turned up, told scaffolding would be up over Christmas but work might not be finished. Lies upon lies upon lies. Refusal to call back, refusal to respond to complaint emails or calls. Treat people terribly and do not care that they lie all the time. Now desperately trying to get my deposit back and they are again dodging every question and replying with pointless platitudes...' sorry for the inconvenience'...Avoid at all costs

From the very start Anglian windows have been very unprofessional. They will promise lots of things such as installstion date etc but will not deliver. The installation carried out was sub standard and i'm still waiting for the installation to be corrected 11 months on from the installation. Anglian cannot be trusted at all especially with their installation and details.

I’ve been trying to get someone out to look at my installation for MONTHS now since it was fitted. I have condensation on the frame as though it’s not properly insulated and I believe the fitters filled the insulation gaps in the wall as well. I called on the 27th Oct and had an appointment booked for the 28th Oct. On the 28th the manager cancelled and set an appointment for the 29th Oct to which he never arrived or contacted me. I tried to call his mobile on the 30th Oct and then, called Anglian directly on the 1st but couldn’t get through. I called again on the 10th Nov and got through to someone at Anglian who said they’d get the Torquay manager to call me back. I didn’t get a call. I then got an unrelated call from someone at Anglian asking how things were going, when I said things were bad he said said he’d text me an email. He then texted me the incorrect email for customer services. I’m extremely unhappy with the product so far and the so-called aftercare service. I’m being woken up every night by dripping once there’s too much condensation on the frame and my carpet is constantly soaked. I have both vents opens and sometimes even have the windows open, which doesn’t change anything. Going into the new year with a damaged wall, carpet and crappy windows.

Probably theost arrogant sales rep in the business and even quoted us for a wrong door design, appeared to be content on disrespecting other manufacturers than anything, completely mis represented their BBA /BSI certifications closing they were for their company service when they are for material compliance ( I'm an ISO certification auditor) he even tried to lecture me on my job ! Don't bother with this company as it'll be a wasted hour you won't get back

Booked conservatory on 1st March and paid deposit, commencement date was supposed to be 8 to 12 weeks, then paid stage 1 payment only to be told by Chloe Lindgren the commencement date would be knocked back to 1st November due to 'unforeseen circumstances'. Prior to that commencement date was then told that it would be pushed back further (only after I enquired a few days before) - now 9 and half months later have no further date or progress, they are not responding to email either. Am regretting the day I signed the contract - do not use!

Ordered in May 2021 with a promise of 3-4 months installation. It's now December 2021 and the installation date is February 2022 at the earliest ! Nobody from 'Customer Services' every calls me to give updates, and contacting them is a painful process. Despite promising to call back they never do.

The team that installed my Anglian windows did not put the damp course back as it should be, just stuffed it back, and put in the new windows. Obviously it was time before this would manifest itself as a huge ingress of damaging water. It happens when there is a SEVERE storm, with the strong wind and rain coming at the house from a certain direction. SO NOT ALWAYS APPARENT FOR A LONG TIME. THIS MAY NOT HAPPEN IN THE GUARANTEE PERIOD This is obviously difficult for the female telephone operator to comprehend. The front, South facing, downstairs, three windows of the house were affected with water pouring in by the gallon. After I paid a structural engineer, who confirmed bad installation, Anglian took out the 3 windows on this South facing side of the house, then reinstated the damp proof membrane, and put back the windows. Result good, but needed a lot of cosmetic repair, but solved the (their) problem. The storm we just had, unusual in its direction, affected a window on the North side of the house, part of the same installation, causing large ingress of water, easily seen now with the stains coming down from the top of the frame, right down the sides onto the windowsill. They say we can't do anything. (A lame excuse) They say 'why did you not inform them before' They say an Act of God: I say an Act of bad installation by Anglian windows They say 'get a builder' !!! That admits their fault! I think I'll get a structural surveyor report, then perhaps a solicitor. Avoid Anglian, try Everest?, not sure. Friends use local small forms for their installations. Perhaps that would be better. Anglian obviously don't want to put the problem right, even at a charge AVOID

Similar situation. Paid a large deposit in March this year for a conservatory. Contract states with planning 20 weeks and still waiting 2 cancelled provisional dates. Now we have a new provisional date of January. All the usual excuses from CHLOE LINGREN NO HELP,AT ALL. Promised she would get DARREN SMITH to ring and MARTIN DEPMSEY both hold senior positions. No interest in the customer at all. Will be 11 months in January don't hold out any hope soon for conservatory. I was told the same. Builder overrun previous job. Or builder not available. Another was could not get materials. Darren smith had already said they have too much work. So it speaks for itself hence the long delays. Have lost all confidence In them and they have my large deposit still. Still mention of returning my deposit though. I was advised by their head office to email their CEO because they are disappointed also that nobody has contacted us by phone regarding the length of the delay for a conservatory installation and Chloe Lingren. Darren Smith and Martin Dempsey inefficientcy. Do not use this company

I was considering a highly expensive quote for replacement guttering/soffits/fascia for £5k and glad I found these reviews. Life is stressful enough already without having to cope with this clearly cowboy company. Having obtained far cheaper quotes I find they use other workmen to fit their ‘products’ anyway so you’re not really buying the brand ‘Anglian’ anyway!

I have used Anglian windows twice before, the first time I couldn't fault it, the second we had to get the builder to rebuild the brick work as it was a complete mess, however he did the work, I then ordered a porch on the 6th of March that was due to be fitted on the 7th of June, it was then delayed to the 11th of June, 14th of June, 28th of June, 6th of September, by this point it was very clear that CHLOE LINDGRED had lost all interest in any customer service as I was continuously hearing the repeated lines "All dates are provisional, and the builder is held up, I cannot give any other information" Then we had the date of the 3rd of November, which of course became the 5th of November and now after calling 0800 988 6123 and speaking to Lucy, Michelle, Liam, Cristine, Lucy.B who have all been helpful and supportive but cannot actually help other than to record your concerns and pass them on. I have had a call from CHLOE LINDGREN again who has stated 13th of January, I questioned how a builder could be delayed for 6 months or if my job is just being pushed back, CHLOE informed me they have taken on a lot of work and the builder builds conservatories not Porches!!!!! When I asked the question then why take a £5000 deposit from me for a porch (which they advertise as doing) I received the repeated line "all our dates are provisional"!!! then she said, "Thank you, Goodbye" AND HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I am starting to believe they are never going to build my porch and I have lost £5000 the stress and anxiety they are causing me is too much, I have asked to speak to the Manager of CHLOE LINDGREN who she named as Darren Smith, I wait to receive his call!! I have called again and spoken to a very helpful Michael who has updated my concerns and put through a message that I would like contact from Darren Smith, I only hope I get some confirmation on my porch soon.

The after care of this company is appalling. I have had many products installed by Anglian now since 2006. Every time there has been issues with Front doors, patio doors. I request visits by engineers and wait weeks which stem into months to get anything sorted. I get told the Area manager will be coming out to view the property, with regards to my patio door, the was now 1st week in November, no sign of the Area Manager. I have taken time off work for 3 engineer site visits on the patio door alone not to mention the days lost for my Front door. Engineer at one point said it was the end of his work day and not point starting the job. The 3rd engineer for my door who was the guy who installed it said it clearly needed to be removed.. This was months ago. Nothing has since happened and no contact on email, phone from the Area Manager. Think twice before taking them on board!

My doors has been done last year. As soon as they finished, we realised the job looks unfinished. Called back and after almost a year they came back and finished it.(covid ) then the handle was loos...and then side door bottom was falling off. Then the key wasn't working...they came and did them. Now the front door doesn't unlock. The bottom of side door falloff too...this is a poor job and way too expensive for cheep doors and bad service..😡
