Very poor service courier made me wait in twice for delivery. Once items arrived boxes damaged. Opened up packaging and bed damaged. I was without a bed for days. I got an apology. I asked for a refund and even organising that was a joke they’ll only pick up when it suits them. Therefore 4 days wasted, 4 days off from work and in the end no bed. Absolutely abysmal service.

After a bad flood needed a new bed. The assistant was very helpful and asked if I could remember what the previous bed had been and what it cost. I gave her the information and waited till the repairs to the house were complete the bed arrived when promised but my wife noticed almost at once that it was uncomfortable. Contacted Archers and they arranged for an independent company to check the mattress he found it to be faulty. Archers arranged to swap the mattress but the replacement was even worse. I am now waiting on the independent company to do yet another check but I have no doubt the inspector will condemn this mattress as well. My wife wants to allow Archers another chance to rectify the problem but I would prefer a full refund and buy a bed from another store.

I bought a bed frame & mattress from Archers, worst mistake I ever made, I was told about the mattress protecter if you buy their expensive one (cheap quality) we lay on the mattress in the Cumbernauld store for minutes, the guy in my opinion pushed the mattress we bought it felt soft enough, we got it home it was solid, rock hard we tried to get used to it & give it a chance we had awful disturbed sleep, sore ribs, backs & headaches & still do after 6-7 months, I have tried to communicate with them initially with no answer to emails, apparently they tried to call me & never got me, why didn't you email me then ? Last week after just having enough of the awful sleep, I emailed again the next day I hot a phone call from Stephen McGuire who told me he couldn't do anything as we had not bought their protector, I explained I bought a better one, he gave me the same story as others cant do anything..he actually had the audacity to tell me if I want to buy another mattress from them he would give me a good discount..seriously why would you...DO NOT buy a mattress from this company they are shocking once they get your money after their really bad customer sales & service they don't want to know!

My mum bought a bed from you in Aug 2020 and the mattress keeps moving off the Apollo electric bed. Sent out Homeserve and said nothing wrong with it. OT went out to her to help with other things and looked at the bed and said the mattress is not the right mattress for the bed. The mattress sent is not the same as the one in the showroom. Sort it out. She is disabled and if the mattress moves and she falls out of the bed I will have to report the matter further. Sold the bed by John Wilkes

I have purchased a mattress which was in stock. Few days later I was told that I have to wait 4-5 weeks for it. 5 weeks later it still did not arrive. After calling the company and trying to get the answer to "When will it arrive?" the customer service decided to drop my calls - on purpose. After calling again and requesting the supervisor I was told that they cannot tell me when I will receive my item as their supplier does not have any materials... If I did not reach out I would be kept in the dark. Eventually I have requested my deposit back and cancellation of my order. Awful communication, poor customer service, did not receive my item - stay clear, look for the alternative companies.

Awful communication, 18+ week for a desk I ordered a desk back in July from Archers Sleepcentre. At the time of purchase, there was a 7-9 week wait for delivery - I was willing to wait this long as it was a desk I really liked and it wasn't available any sooner via another website. However, after 10 weeks I'd still heard nothing from the company so I got in touch only to be told it was now going to be additional 4 weeks. Having already waited 10 weeks it seemed silly to not wait the extra month so I swallowed it and hoped for no more delays. Unfortunately, those four weeks went by and I'd still heard nothing so after contacting the company AGAIN I was told the desk had been delayed further until October 31st. Miraculously, the desk actually came into stock on Halloween and I arranged delivery for Thursday 5th November. The day prior I received a text to confirm my delivery slot but on the morning of delivery I received another text to say the shipment hadn't arrived to the depot of the delivery company... Absolutely abysmal service, the lack of contact from Archers is frustrating to say the least and I honestly wouldn't not recommended them to even someone I disliked. Do yourselves a favour and pay a bit extra to get your furniture from someone more reliable. Will not be making the same mistake twice!

Visited their Kilmarnock store on Saturday 17 October 2020. We placed mattress for their Bordeaux 1000 king size mattress. There was a label stitched to the mattress with model name and quite clearly printed 10 year guarantee. I question the salesman, Chris, about this as he didn't volunteer any information about it. It turns out that the guarantee is only valid if you buy one of their £70 mattress protectors. He was at pains to demonstrate how good the protector was. I was also at pains to say I didn't want any rubbery type material. He informed us it was a hotel breathable cotton and showed us a sample of fabric to touch which was similar in touch and appearance to cotton material used in the manufacture of t-shirts. Delivery in two days was promised which was the only part of the bargain to be delivered truthfully. Today Monday, the mattress arrived along with the protector. The delivery men didn't stay long. In and out in less than 2 minutes and off like a shot. We looked at the mattress which appeared to be what we ordered and then my wife opened the protector. Guess what! Not what we were shown in store. It was a full on anti pee pee cover. Quilted cotton with a rubbery type back. I phone the store to say we had been give the wrong protector. Chris went on the defensive and accused me of calling him a con man. At no time did I call him that he just assumed that from the way the conversation was going. He wanted us to go to his store again no doubt that he could perform a slight off hand and produce a sample rag we had never seen before. I asked about returning the order as we did not receive what we expected. Yes they'll take it back less 20%. Wtf? He offered to refund the protector but then we would have no guarantee on the goods Wtf again? Please pardon my language once more. Then he made it abundantly clear that cancellation are only possible within 24 hours of making an order and would suffer a loss if we insisted on it. This company cannot be trusted. The plethora of negative one star reviews and the spurious 5 stars that crop up should make you suspicious of ever dealing with this firm at anytime. DO NOT RECOMMEND OR SHOP IN THEIR STORES!!!!!

I ordered a double bed from Archers Sleepcentre for my rental property in July. After ringing the store in Edinburgh, making sure the bed was in stock and that it could be installed in my property, the bed was ordered with an estimated delivery date in August. I was notified by my management agency in September that the bed had only been delivered and installed a few days earlier, 30 DAYS AFTER the expected delivery date. The bed had not been installed initially as the old bed was not dismantled (something I checked with the store could be done when I rang up), so my tenants had to spend money on tools to dismantle the frame and wait a month for their new bed. The communication from Archers and my management agency was apparently poor through this process. Understanding that misunderstandings can occur, I contacted Archers (once I was made aware of the situation) and spent AN HOUR on the online chat and explained the situation. I also requested compensation to reimburse the compensation I paid to my tenants for their troubles. The response from Archers (after having to wait a day after the conversation with the sales rep) was that they don't provide the service I was promised, and that there would be no compensation awarded. I will certainly not be using Archers again, and I would advise against using them if you need something delivered. The whole process was an utter shambles.

Terrible customer service. Order never arrived - when i phoned they said it was out of stock for another 2 weeks ! They hadnt bothered to let me know, we had sat in waiting for it as it was for my Sons birthday. No apologies, no goodwill gesture so cancelled order.

Poor poor service. I have been waiting for my order since the 9th June...its now 27th August. I have been in contact with the customer service team three times and three times they have apologised and assured me it has been sorted and someone will be intouch to ariange delivery within the week and no one ever calls. I would not order from here again and would strongly advise everyone else to avoid them!

Archers staff in store are very helpful. However when it comes the delivery and telephone service that is another business. Ordered a bed and was sent an email asking to call in order to schedule delivery. I chose Monday and I even asked for a time slot and the person told me that they will call on the day. So I took Monday off, however, no one called and no one showed up. Called them in the afternoon, to be told that it wasn't scheduled and they will call on Tuesday morning to deliver. Tuesday, no call,so I called them again to be told (by Stuart) that I was sent a text in the morning which was not true. Then he later said, we got your number down incorrectly. It's very frustrating. Cancelled the order as to me it seemed like they just don't care.

Probably one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. I understand companies make mistakes but Archers were something else. Sent a faulty TV bed ok so no biggie there just replace it right NO.. Archers wanted me to dismantle the bed and then lug the bed down 3 stories to have just the part replaced ok so it was hassle as I live on the 3rd floor and paid to have it assembled. I then had to get someone to disassemble the bed take it down and wait for Archers to send me the right part which wasn't faulty. Archers managed to send the part wrong on 6 occasions whats worse was all those 6 times i had to take time off work to wait for the part which was bulky and could not be sent to my workplace. What made it worse was the arrogance of David Reid who works at Archers sleep centre he at no point was helpful and in the end got fed up helping and fobbed me off to their suppliers who incidentally are lpdfurniture yep that's where Archers buy their furniture from. If I was the owner of Archers I would be quite miffed that one of the employees has revealed the companies suppliers to a customer but Hey David were all not cut out for this customer service business are we? At no point did you offer an apology or even a gesture if goodwill you were rude and abrupt and thats the reason for this review!

Waited all day on Friday for a delivery and then told that it would then be Monday when it did not appear on the Friday night. Another day that I'm expected to take off work due to their error. Shocking service
