Very poor service been waiting for a call back for a few days having to write a review to see if someone can be interested in speaking to me put a complaint in already wrote a review still no one interested hopefully someone might read this and contact me

Do not touch this company with a barge pole. 10/3/16 waited for an hour for the telephone to be picked up at 7pm. No answer. Called my insurance co. They somehow got me through. Spoke to Dawn who booked me an appointment from the Romford base . Given date of 15/3/16 with ref number of 8805358 between 9am and 5pm. I was told i would be called on the day and given an ETA. Not heard anything by 11 am on the 15th, Called and actaully managed to get through to the customer service number. Spoke to David Aughton and I was told there was no booking for me on that day.The next booking would be April 1st. I was not happy and was promised a call back. Still not heard anything after 24 hrs. Called my insurance co , now have an appointment on Sat 19/3 between 9 and 1 with National Windscreens. When my car insurance is next due ,whoever has the cheapest quote before completing the transaction I will be asking what glass repair company is authorised by them to make repairs . If it is this company I will not be taking out insurance with them I am trying to get a small chip repaired which is not to much of an issue. God help if I needed a full windscreen. I asked for recompence as I had taken a day off work for this repair . I was offered a waver of the excess charge as gesture of goodwill . My policy arrangemnet is if there is a chip no excess charge the bill goes straight to the insurers, This company is a complete joke. I suggest you warn your insurance companies about this company , perhaps that way they will start to lose business and may wake them up to provide a service we require.

after a text from this company confirming the date and time of the windscreen replacement no one turned up. and this company did not have the decency to call to tell me. after i took half a day of work . i will be making a claim for lost earnings and compensation. your customer services does not exist as no one called me back.

Disgusting company.. Booked my appointment over ten days ago for today friday - of course nobody has turned up.. Now spent all day ringing up being cut off the phone etc and because they accused me of being rude on the phone after 2 hours of messing a around they now refuse to attend at all. Lost a days pay and cant drive my car as the crack has so bad after 11 days of waiting.. I. At my wits end.. They refuse the or take my calls now leaving me high and dry. They are disgusting beyond words. Liars too. They even emailed me confirmation of my appointment. Promised to ring me back numerous times .its lie after lie.. Im submitting a county court claim today for loss of earnings and as my insurance dont deal withvany other winscreen company im left facing a huge bill now.. Im so upset too. And as female lady i feel ive been treat very badly. Why are auto windscreens surprised i was angry after loosing yet anothers day pay for failed workman to arrive. Utterly disusting company who shouldnt be in business. All i read is complaint after complaint.

I have noticed the reviews have either been very poor or very good. The latter being by the relieved when all went well. The earlier being by the frustrated when something has gone wrong. To me, the measure of a great company is one that provides good service when the job goes well but even better service when something goes wrong. The starting point of good service is good communication. This company suffers because customers are not allowed to email them and phone callers are treated to a wait of up to an hour then have to deal with a terse unfriendly attitude when they finally get through. A bit of customer service training and a few extra bodies answering phones would work wonders. Until that happens, I would give them a miss. Mike Williams (Retired Group Chairman of a plc)

Terrible- I have been waiting since Tuesday for my side window to be replaced- I can't drive anywhere apart with it as it is . It takes around 30 mins for them to answer the phone and then all they say is 'you are a priority' and someone will ring you to arrange a time. I'm just sitting at home waiting for someone maybe to ring me, sometime ! Totally frustrating. If I had not already paid 70 quid to these people in excess via my insurance, I would be off to autoglass repair ASAP. DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE.

claim via Hastings Direct Van .Still waiting for repair to drivers door glass after 3 days every time I call they fob me off saying they're very busy they have no idea when they can repair my van. It's a Transit Connect , it's not uncommon. I have now cancelled the job via Hastings Direct who I am loathe to use again because they are unaware that Auto Windscreens are not up to the job.They have put me onto Nationwide Motor Glass to see if they're any better.DO NOT USE AUTO WINDSCREENS.

Had a new windscreen fitted today , no problem first rate service from start to finish .. The engineer Mark from Doncaster text to confirm time . : the day before then phoned 15 mins away from me . Fitted screen in a very professional manner with no fuss and a smile in a very short time .Thank you to all at Auto Windscreens . Mr D Tonks

I'd never choose to use Auto windscreens again and only did this time because it came with my insurance! I first noticed the chip on Wednesday 13th January... or it may have been 14th. This was just a small chip but was worried it might become something bigger with frosty nights. I was given Friday 22nd January but was telephoned the day before to be told a technician wouldn't be available, so REBOOKED for Wednesday 27th between 8 and 13:00. No one came so I telephoned at 14:30 to be told the computers were down so they didn't know who was supposed to have come and why they hadn't and couldn't arrange another time. No one telephoned me the next day so I phoned them and was told my technician had been off sick and it was REBOOKED for February 12th. This was cancelled the day before and REBOOKED for March 2nd! On Monday 29th I was telephoned to say it would need to be REBOOKED AGAIN and it would probably be a few weeks before another appointment was available! At this point I asked to speak to the manager. Jasmine was very apologetic and arranged for Michael to come the next day, today 1st March. Which he did, keeping me fully informed of when he'd arrive, and arriving when he said he would, was very polite and did a brilliant job! BUT, why did it necessitate me speaking to the manager, explaining this was the 4th time it had been cancelled, before I got this excellent service? Come on Auto Windscreens, you can do better than this! When the computers went down, I was told it was always happening! Well something needs to be done about it then! I have emailed my insurers to suggest they use another company.

My Technician was Martin from Inverness, turned up on time with the correct glass and had it fitted in just over an hour. All round good guy. I have yet to drive the car in the rain but the fit looks good so hopefully all will be ok.

Totally disappointed with the service I have received! Last year my window screen was replaced by yourselves and it's getting frost on the inside steaming up on the inside and the chassis number is sitting offline from where it should be. I phone your customer service team up and they said they have no idea when I would get a phone call she said it could be a week or a month if this is the case I will be going to trading standards, as this is not acceptable. Should have gone to autoglass.

Shocking customer service. I've been on hold several times for well over an hour. They finally called me to make an appointment, I was out and unsure which days I was free so they cancelled my claim and told me to submit a new one. One appointment was cancelled by them at the last minute. Catalogue of bad service, bad experience. Most frustrating thing is they never answer calls. Who has the time to sit for hours on hold? All in all very poor. If I didn't have to use them because of my insurance I would have gone elsewhere straight away. I can't believe their website promotes high levels of customer satisfaction and awards. Complete joke.

Absolutely useless - third time they've visited in two months - each time with the wrong windscreen. Near impossible to contact them by phone to rearrange. How does a company like this exist these days....

Excellent customer service was provided by Kevin Maclean in the Inverness area, when he came out to my Range Rover after a huge branch from a over-hanging tree landed on my windscreen, causing a crack from the top of the seal round the window right down to the bottom. Kevin wasted no time in getting here, in fact he was a bit early and rang ahead to make sure I would be in. He arrived when promised and spent an hour and a half making sure he was happy with the work done, before leaving. I would highly recommend Auto Windscreens. ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES My window screen was cracked on the first week of January so phoned Auto Window Screens via my insurance company .After waiting on the phone for over 30 minutes I was booked a fitting on the 3rd of February on the 2nd of February I was told they did not have a technician to do my job and booked another appointment on the 22nd February on the 21st February at 17.10pm I got a call to say they had no technician and wanted to book another appointment on the 16th March I have now taken 2 days off work(self employed) I have now lost 16hrs pay I will now be contacting Auto Glass. I would strongly recommend you Do Not use this company what a Complete Shambles!!!!!

If there was a zero rating option I would be selecting that. Having called to report a cracked windscreen in December 2015, I have twice been let down by this company. The 1st appointment was booked for January. No-one turned up and when I called was told that no technician had been booked. Appointment re-booked for today (20th Feb so some 3 weeks later) and again I am told that no technician has been booked again!! I have now booked for a 3rd time for next Saturday but have been told that they cant tell me whether it will be a morning or afternoon appointment so I feel another wasted day approaching. Feedback will also be given to M&S who are my insurers as they insist on using this company. "Total Customer Satisfaction" - I dont think so!

Now on my third appointment technician never calls to update windscreen not ordered how can this happen will renew my motor insurance with an insurer who does not use auto windscreens see what excuse thy have today very annoyed

Had a windscreen repaired, promised a life time guarantee. Couple of years down the road and the repair has failed and I have to now get a completely new windscreen. They refuse to refund the costs of the original repair or take any responsibility for it.

Terrible service. Called first on the 5th of Jan, got appointment soonest they could do 27th. Bad weather. Then made appointment for 11th of Feb. Turned up at the end of time slot[9 till 12] With wrong glass[green tint??] 18th still no glass.
