had a great selection but it took more than three months to get the stools we ordered.

Assembly needs two people and goes together well. The seat of the stool is on the small side so does not fit everyone. Not sure what to do with them since my husband can’t sit comfortably. He’s not a large person.

I ordered a table on Bar Stool Co. and used their chat feature to check that the table is in stock and would ship within 2-3 days as advertised because I needed the table in time for an event. Representative confirmed it was in stock and would in fact ship within 2-3 days and even helped to price match for me - all is great and I placed the order on April 27, 2018. Fast forward a few days, I get a shipping confirmation an April 30. I track the shipment and am completely surprised that the estimated arrival date is May 18, 2018. I am absolutely livid. I reach out to a customer representative again and she confirms that it is "taking longer than usual" although it did ship within 2-3 days as advertised. She said that typically it arrives much earlier than the estimated shipping date. So I ask her when it will arrive. She tells me she emailed their shipping company and they will email me. I've heard nothing since. If you want to never know when your furniture will actually arrive, this company is for you! I will NEVER buy here again.

Like the chairs. Assembly very hard. Delivered to wrong Apartment. Instructions could be better.

I received only 2 out of 10 chairs, even though the shipment said all 10 were going to arrive. I called and emailed customer service over the weekend and no response, and still no response so far on Monday . Don’t go with this company!!

I ordered an ottoman twelve days ago and they STILL have yet to ship it. I called them yesterday and received an email back stating they will ship it today well they havent! NEVER PURCHASING FROM HERE AGAIN!!! What a joke of a company.

I am livid. I ordered these chairs from Bar Stool Co. because it was $10 less expensive than other competitors online. I regret this decision greatly. I placed the order on 4.2.18. I was sent an email confirming my order. 6 days later I check to see where in the process my order is and it says preparing for shipment. I give them a call and some lady answers and I ask her if there's any reason as to why my order hasn't shipped yet. She takes down my information stating she can't reach the warehouse and they will call me back. 2 days later, of course not receiving any phone calls, I call again. The same lady answers and again I ask her what the problem is. She again takes down my information and says I'll get a call back. 2 days later again I call and fed up with this, I say just cancel my order. She says she cannot cancel but will let "them" know that I'd like to cancel. Not thinking this message would go anywhere I replied to my order email stating that I'd like to cancel my order. Here "Dylan" replies to me saying how sorry he is and that he can expedite my shipment for 2 day shipping at no extra charge. I say if I can get it in 2 business days I won't cancel. He then tells me my order will be shipped that day and I will recieve a confirmation email. The FOLLOWING day I receive an email saying the package has shipped and will be due in 1 week's time, not 2 days as we had discussed. Again, I reach out to "Dylan" to point this out. He apologizes and says he called FedEx and updated it so it will be delivered in 2 days. 11 days after placing my order it finally gets shipped. But guess when my package arrives...1 week later. So finally I have my chairs and as I look at one of the packages I notice the box is pretty beat up. So I open up the box and sure enough one of the legs is broken in half. I've reached out to modway for a replacement and we'll see what they say. To top this off the chairs aren't grey but have a green tint to them. This has been my worst online shopping experience to date. I've attached pictures of my correspondence and the broken chair.

Just like some of the other reviews. I am stuck waiting for a table that is somehow lost in shipping. I have to reach out to this company constantly. I asked for a refund and hope that process isn't as bad as my whole experience has been. I know the prices are cheap but I would pay double to get better customer service and my actual table.

I'd give this company zero stars if I could. First off, I was told when I ordered that my chairs WERE in stock. ONE WEEK later, I get an e-mail that my chairs are back-ordered and this is ONLY after I had followed up on my tracking info which said "preparing to ship" for a week. I made several attempts after that at contacting the company, to no avail. Ok, they did e-mail me back saying we will update your tracking info and follow up (NOT!). My original phone call was never returned to this day; my e-mails continue to go unanswered for any information and now the tracking information doesn't work to allow me to even track my order. I called last week and the poor operator said, "I can't help you, I'm only an answering service". What type of company doesn't have employees or service consultants that can actually help you? I want to cancel my order immediately and want a full refund. The Better Business Bureau is my next stop. This is utterly ridiculous. I did see this same type of review below so I'm happy to at least know I'm not the only one receiving this treatment. Absolutely horrible experience! I have never dealt with such poor customer care and communication. We all know things happen and there are always late shipments, etc. but have a little respect for your customers and at the very least, acknowledge them and update the status every once and a while. I will never order from this company again.

Shopping experience on Bar Stool Co. could be better if they did better client service for back-order. I had been told it shall be 2-5 weeks for restock, but it actually took two months. And within this two months, no client representative proactively contacted me about the order status, I have to keep asking/emailing/pushing them to give me a tracking status, and strongly doubt if I could receive it without pushing. Will not come back this website as long as there are other online furniture websites.

The screws are too long on the front legs and u cannot screw them in to hold the chairs. Have called twice with no reply!!

Ordered 6 bar stools 10/30. Contacted company 10/31, 11/1, 12/5, 12/6, 12/7, 12/14, 12/15, 12/19, 12/28, 1/7 (via chat message) and today. Please process a complete refund for #1992476 - never received the 6 bar stools I ordered and purchased in October. Also, please confirm you received this message.

Ordered 4 stools and waited almost 2 months because on back order. When I received the stools they were not the same color wood.

I ordered a set of bar stools through the website during a promotional sale. After almost 3 weeks of nothing, I got an email that they were on back order and expected to be back in stock on a certain date. The website offered me expedited shipping at no charge. Would of been more acceptable if I wasn't already receiving the order with free shipping from the promotion. A few days went by after the restock date went by and heard nothing about the shipment. I followed up via email to the customer service rep that had contacted me and got no work back. A few days later I suddenly got a confirmation email that the order had shipped. The stools are good quality, however its unfortunate that the company could not compensate more than just offering expedited shipping. Thankfully they came in time for the holidays as they were a gift for someone, just took a month to get them.

I placed an order on December 6th for a set of barstools, before placing the order I spoke with a representative from Bar Stool Co and they assured me they would arrive before Christmas. Long story short, they did not instead arrived on the 29th. They blamed the shipping company they contract with and did not take ownership of their misleading ways. I will not use this company again!

Order chairs on October 10/6 and they were supposed to be delivered in a week. The items ended up being on back order (not noted on their website when I placed the order), I was notified on 10/10 the items would be back in stock on 10/24 and asked if I still wanted to proceed with the order and I said yes. They offered to expedite shipping at no charge and I would receive them in 1-2 business days once they came back in stock. 11/2 comes around, and I was following up for over a week and kept getting the same story they were shipping later in the week. I needed the chairs for a dinner party and had no other option at this point since I was told they would be to me by 10/26. Finally on Friday 11/3, I get an email saying they were shipped, but for ground delivery and wouldn't be to me until Monday, the day after the dinner party. Huge disappointment. This company doesn't have a handle on inventory or tracking of items. I planned a month ahead and still didn't get what I needed in time.

Just got the 4 Metropolis stools ordered and indeed they look just great. However one of them (1 out of a set of 4) came with a bent leg. Photo attached. I cannot yet provide a final rating until this issue is fully resolved
