After sending yet another email to bensons, received a reply, no apology made for delivery being 3 months late, state delivery date now January with no guarantee, absolutely fed up!!! Worst customer service ever!!!

Ordeed a sofa bed in Oct for delivery 21 Dec. Beginning of week before delivery was sent a text with delivery time. Received a phone call on 18 Dec to say order is delayed. Turns out it's still in China! Do not appreciate being lied to so asked to cancel order, be refunded and compensated. No confirmation (as promised of cancellation and refund) and no offer of compensation.

IGel mattress delivered 16/10/20 material started to sag around the side tried customer services and they kept cutting off emails bounced back , eventually after several days got through to a lady who said she couldn’t find any details of our purchase then said she couldn’t speak to me as they had put it in my husbands name but had no record of the purchase so would have to go to store which was closed . Store open 2/12/20 and found purchase details Bensons say it passed 30 day return period but was told we had 40 day minimum trial, apparently if you report a fault the trial period is invalid. Technician came out said damage is due to sitting on the side of the bed, when we didn’t agree got the ump went to other side of bed banged it and it made a pop and said base is faulty. After he left the drawer made a noise when opening, took it out and found a piece of board had popped out , put back in , it’s fine. Bensons say base was faulty. It seemed fine when we turned the mattress each week. They accept no responsibilty. Citizens advice say they’re in breach of contract but they don’t care . Store manager said go to furniture ombudsman. Have emailed rip off Britain. They use COVID as excuse for not being able to contact you but when you tell them you couldn’t get through to them deny it.Have had mattress 8 weeks 2 of those waiting for inspection 3 trying to get through to someone to deal with problem

Would never use this company again, over two months late with delivery of bed, after several emails still not provided either a delivery date or refund, the worst customer service ever! Just being ignored, Would not recommend anyone to use this company.

I brought and paid for a bed 6 weeks before it was delivered On the day of delivery I noticed considerable damage and immediately reported this fact to them 3 weeks later and still no-one has made an attempt to resolve the matter I send e mail after e mail but all I receive is an automated response I have tried calling but there is always at least a 40 minute wait I have tried to establish an on-line chat but no-one is ever available Really appalling service Would give them zero stars if that was possible Don't buy from Bensons There must be far better retailers - there certainly can't be any worse

Awful awful company. We paid for a wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside tables in July. We were given a date and made our arrangements to be in for that date. When it got closer to the time we had a phonecall to say our order was going to be a few days late which we accepted because we had not long come out of lockdown and knew that things might get delayed. So we ignored the first delay. The next date we were given the bedside tables arrived in perfect condition but the wardrobe had arrived with two damaged border panels (which were the parts on display so no way of hiding them). We were also told that they were having trouble ordering the chest of drawers and that the earliest they could get it to us is February next year (which is ridiculous). It has taken us nearly two months to sort the replacement border panels out for the wardrobe because its a 10 day delay on each email reply, only to now be told that they might not be able to get the replacement panels as the whole bedroom set has been discontinued. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets to Feb next year and we still don't get the chest of drawers as they can't order it in anymore. They can only offer us an £80 refund, which is useless as we would much rather have a complete bedroom set. Never had a worse experience with a company than this. Absolute shambles.

Ordered bed in October. Be arrived on correct day but was delivered broken. Someone was suppose to contact me about it. Got nothing. Just read reviews. Not sure what to expect.

Terrible firm. avoid at all costs and don't risk being drawn in by their offers. they do not honour any guarantee and have little to no customer service. lots of reviews on here and other sites read the same and they are true. Had to approach the Property Ombudsman to get the guarantee I was sold before Benson’s honoured it.

Ordered a mattress and bed in October we chose one that sales staff said delivery is before Christmas. Delivery was supposed to come in November which was then changed twice (without informing us) to two different dates in December. Multiple days off work mean we have now lost more money in income than the bed and mattress cost us! December came and we had a call to say it’s now not ready until February!!!! That’s a 5 month wait. We are still waiting... Deffo wouldn’t recommend buying from here. Expensive and poor service.

Ordered bed and headboard 21 Jul 2020. Bed delivered on schedule Mid Sep. No headboard - was told it will follow in two weeks. Never happened. Waited until mid Oct. Finally managed to contact Bensons via Twitter (they would not reply to emails or take phone calls). They promised headboard by end of Nov. Never happened. Contacted again by twitter they said they would have it by 14 Dec but would not make any priority delivery for me (even though I had been waiting so long) - meaning it could be in the new year before I got it. I asked for a refund which they agreed to. Two weeks later and I was still chasing the refund. I said if nothing happening I will contact BBC Watchdog. Next morning (today) I got a phone call to organise the refund - or so I thought. The idiot TOOK another payment from my account instead of refunding. She phoned me back 10 minutes later - said she couldnt cancel it so made a refund for two times the amount ( this being the original refund and the additional one they effectively stole from me - as I didnt authorise it). The second payment has gone from my account ...but the double refund has not happened. I am pulling my hair out....

Terrible customer service! 1st: I emailed to ask if I could add to my original order. I was cc'd into an internal email with one department asking another department to contact me. I've not had any contact! 2nd: My order was supposed to take 9 weeks to be delivered. I contacted customer service on the 9th week as I'd heard nothing. After being on hold for 25 minutes and then being cut off I called and managed to speak to someone. I was told my order number didn't exist even though I was reading them what was on my email. Thankfully they found my order and I was then told they had emailed the delivery team and someone would be in touch. It's now been 10 weeks and I've had to contact them again (on hold for 34 minutes this time) because no one has contacted me. I've just been told that it's nothing to do with Benson's as I'm having a Direct Home Delivery and it's all down to the supplier. If it's nothing to do with Benson's why is my finance arranged with them? I don't recommend this company and won't use them again!

Once again bensons for beds didn't deliver their promise. I have been having issues with a bed and mattress I purchased over a year ago and I have been emailing and sending pictures since then. Now they want to replace it!!!! I don't want your faulty products and I want a refund and you can take your faulty product!!! Shame on you and im taking this further and I will not stop until justice is served.

I bought oak furniture from this company for my bedroom, a full set. To sell the team is perfect. The furniture had guarantee of five years. Before the guarantee expired, the furniture showed signs of woodworms - these are the woodworms that leave eggs in the oak and timber. When the furniture is done, the wood goes through the process in which companies hope to kill the eggs in high levels of heat and hope they piece of furniture ends up healthy. The eggs that survive, go though a cycle of five years before becoming adults, when they are adults they are called beetles. When they are beetles they make holes on the furniture, the females fly and move to another piece of wood to leave the eggs, and another cycle of up to five years occur. But during this last step they leave a powder that can give a horrible itch ese in your body or they can bite humans. They sent me a technician from Homeserve, who confirmed I had an infestation. When he gave the report, they refused to take responsibility, kept toying with me and messing around with their responses, until I sent them a video where you can see the bug trying to come out of the wood. I wrote a review in trustpilot, they lied in this web and said they are taking this seriously as this is health and safety issue, and privately send me the attached email. The stressed this company put me though is just unacceptable, Their lack of empathy on the staff, the lack of responsibility of this company is disgusting. I never wish this to anyone. I read the reviews, the things they do to customers is just outrageous. Be very careful to buy anything in there, they dint have corporate social responsibility.

Want to cancel my all products. Already waited 5 months. Was sleeping on floor's along with kids. As i ordered kids, myself beds along with mattresses and wardrobes as well.

Warranty and costume service is something not exist in this company it’s just in words no recommend to anyone. I bought a mattress and bed for £1000 the mattress is deformed and while it have 10 years warranty they try to put me on the wall.the only positive thing I can mention is the shops sell team!!!

The wrong mattress was sent ...we ordered an orthopaedic mattress as my husband is due to have spinal surgery. We received the softest mattress which sagged in the middle. He was unable to sleep on it ...a cost of 800. Contacted customer services who admitted wrong mattress sent and said they would replace ASAP with a letter from the surgeon confirming he was due for surgery next week. Letter emailed as requested. Spoke to 2nd advisor 2 days later, said we had to wait 30 days and then someone would come out and assess the mattress. Denied it was the wrong one sent and said replacement May take 2 months. In the meantime my husband is due for surgery and cannot sleep on this mattress. Issue remains unresolved In addition the pillows ordered did not arrive with the mattress, pillows sent a week later were incorrect and finally received the correct ones 2 weeks later Shocking service, shocking company who basically couldn’t run a bath leaving my husband and I with a mattress he cannot sleep on ....where is he supposed to sleep after his surgery??!! Avoid at all costs
