Bought a bed plus headboard a month off of 2years base of bed caved in on my side of bed called the company explained what happened said the could not repair it as it was only garenteed for 1 year and also it was a shop floor product my bed is not comfortable anymore had a stroke 2years ago very disappointed with this company this bed cost a lot of money

PLEASE do yourself a big favour and do not buy from this company. They are very good in their showrooms and are good at selling with marketing gimmicks and sales that this is all short lived. I placed my order on New Year’s Day with delivery scheduled for the end of January. Took the day off work, and delivery never arrived. After trying to get through to customer service, which was quite a feat on its own, and delivery was rescheduled for the week after with them accepting that they had made a mistake and had changed the delivery slot without notifying me. Took the day off work again and again no delivery showed up. by this time customer service was closed so had to wait until the next day to contact them. They did not know why the bed was not delivered and said that they would “Look into it” and get back to me. No one contacted me so after waiting another day I contacted them again and for the third time delivery was rearranged for the end of February. Got a phone call at midday on the day of delivery telling me that they would not be able to deliver today due to the bed not being ready - I found this ridiculous as they had promised to deliver previously twice. Rearranged delivery again for March and guess what? failed to deliver again. Rearranged delivery again for end of March and of course could not deliver due to restrictions re COVID-19. When deliveries started up again in June, arranged delivery for end of June. Got a message from their customer service telling me that the bed was not ready and that delivery would now be expected towards the end of August. Bearing in mind that I had ordered this on New Year’s Day and was without a bed at home, I cancelled the order. Bought a bed from Costco, was delivered and installed 5 days later. Avoid at all costs!!

Please think twice before you buy a bed from this company. I made a massive investment and purchased a superking sized Pure Opulence bed for £2300, big mistake! Don't be lured into thinking that spending this type of money will be money well spent. After 2 faulty mattress issues within the first 6 weeks (which they did replace) the bed is now collapsing in the middle. When we lay on the bed the middle bows and touches the floor. They sent a technician out, however, as this is a manufacturing 'design' fault and not an actual fault that can be fixed then apparantly this is acceptable. Stay clear and take your business elsewhere.

Ordering fantastic in the store bed should have arrived 4th April but due to COVID-19 had email stopped delivering due to lockdown understandable, next is when it really went downhill for this company communication none 3 months tried to ring all numbers provided for customer service when I did get through I was in a queue of 37 waited 1 hour got down to 10 then automatically cut off, eventually had email saying 2-7-20 bed being delivered between 7am - 1pm so wife had booked day off for delivery after waiting almost a hour after delivery time she phoned customer service yet again waiting in a very long queue got through spoken to a very rude customer service operator she said that the bed wasn’t even ready and no delivery was expected she told us that they left us a voicemail on our phone saying no delivery, lies as we received nothing then we asked to speak to a manager she replied there are no managers available here then rudely she put the phone down, rang again got in touch with another customer service operator told him the full story wanted a full refund he was very helpful he explained if you want a full refund go to the store where you ordered your bed from he had put a note to the store for full refund got my money back stress was unbelievable would not use this company again.

Shocking levels of customer service, refused to refund or replace a broken bed that left me with lifelong back problems and tried to get me to pay even MORE money for a 'private' engineer to investigate, which I've also heard terrible things about.. absolutely disgusting and very disappointed with my purchase, what a waste of money and time. If I could give zero stars then I would.

Ordered in April with an email saying delivery within 28 days they will re-email confirmation. Next email stated delivery date: 26.12.2050! Husband rang them and they said because it’s an outside company delivering they have to give a date but the company will confirm when they’re delivering. Fair enough; 28 days pass no more news, it then took 2 week to get through to someone who then said delivery will be 1st June due to current events; again fair enough happy to wait. End of May husband rings to find out if they have a time of delivery; after two hours this time of ringing finally get through but the delivery changed from 1st June to 1st July. Talk between ourselves to see if we can ring them and get it sooner. So husband rings again; suddenly it will be 31st August for delivery so he asks for a refund. Person on the phone transfers us to the cancellations who after two hours on hold cancels the call. It then took two weeks to get hold of someone who says it wasn’t even noted we wanted a refund; the lovely gentleman on the phone said he’s had no end of people staying it’s happened to them and he would sort the refund through email. Thankfully got the refund 24th June. Went to a local independent furniture shop, got my bed delivered on the 27th June and I’m so glad as it’s so comfy! And was cheaper than Bensons!!

Just now AWFUL AWFUL! Please avoid this company! They have beautiful furniture, however quality is terrible. We have spent 2000£ on bed and now we are sleeping on our ikea bed for £300. We have care and protection but customer service advised that we need to pay for technician to fix the bed! AVOID!

Ordered a mattress and was told delivery was 1 week and to expect contact from parcel company. 4 weeks later still waiting. Telephone customer service 8 times either 50+ in the queue or when i did get through was advised it was ready and will be with me by end of week. Nope. 4 emails sent and actually replied 2 weeks later with the worst email ever...still no date just a standard message that the parcel company will be in touch!! Eventually gets email from parcel co with less than 24 hrs notice that delivery will be next day between 8am-6pm...I'm a key worker and need notice for time off...no consignment number to try and chase. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER😡

I would of given no stars if i could!!! absolutely shocking customer service, i know we are in the middle of Covid but if B&Q can manage to deliver a load of fence panels the surely 1 pillow shouldn't be so hard. no communication from anyway still chasing the refund, god help you if you order a bed!!!!! avoid go elsewhere.

Ordered a mattress. Delivery day came but no mattress. Called up, on hold for over 1 hour for then to be hung up on when i asked about the mattress. Called up again to be spoken to like a child. They think because they are working fro. Home they can speak to you however they please. Its no wonder that the company is in trouble. They dont deserve to be in business. Shocking. Avoid avoid avoid.

Save your money Bensons for Beds latest scam is when you place your order online they are keeping your money, they didn't even issue a confirmation order email or a delivery date. Their internet sales nor their customer service departments are answering the phone or replying to emails, so the quickest way to get a refund is through a chargeback with your bank.

Absolutely terrible. No integrity and customer service advisers who have no idea what they are doing. I've been hung up on after waiting 1hr on hold for someone to answer the phone. The returns process is a sham, they are refusing to put in place the process which allows the delivery company to pick up items that were delivered damaged beyond use. Don't use this company at all. They aren't worth the headache.

Had bed delivered in may with faulty headboard now awaiting new head board which they tell me is in the distribution centre and they cannot tell me when im likely to recieve it ive sent emails but they dont respond ive rang numerous times i just seem to be chasing them all the time but getting nowhere theyve had my money i wouldnt reccomend this company at all

The worst company I have ever dealt with. They reply to emails after 3 or 4 weeks. They were supposed to be delivering a bed tomorrow and they have cancelled because apparently the bed is in the wrong depot, they have provided no alternative delivery date and I have no where to sleep. Honestly they are the worst. Never ever buy a bed from this company. They are extremely unreliable.

Placed an order for a bed on 02 May and was given a delivery date of 02 June, on the 01 June I got a text to say that delivery date was given in error and my bed will be delivered mid July. So my adult daughter has a few more weeks of sleeping on the couch. Had they have been honest about delivery dates I would not have bought from them, I would have bought a bed from wayfair.

Website allows you to place orders for items that aren't in stock with no notice of what is or isn't in stock, stating on ALL orders that there is a 6-10 week waiting time, only to receive a confirmation email later stating - "31/05/2050", which means it isn't in stock, however they have happily taken the money, which I can not cancel or get refunded back to me. No phone calls or emails answered, and nothing through paypal. Tried various avenues for communication with no response.

Dreadful company can not communicate with anyone there, just going round in circles in the phone. Ordered a bed 3 months ago still no word. Numerous emails unanswered. Cannot even get a refund although they give you a phone number for refunds no one picks up it just goes on and on. I will never order anything from them again shamefully!

Disgraceful customer service it's a joke...ordered 9th march due for delivery week of lockdown we know everywhere shut down. . But we have to keep chasing them for an update. Can't get through on phone ...the only time we get a response is by putting a review on line.... its now 15th June all shops are now open
