Awful experience. Spent alot of money with Bensons and on the agreed delivery date nothing arrived. We weren't told anything and when we finally spoke to someone they told us to call again at 6pm. The phone lines close at 5pm. This was after we had got rid of our old bed in preparation for the new one and so my heavily pregnant wife had to share a bed with our 4 year old. We were never told the problem and instead tried to give us a new delivery date 3 weeks later! They managed in the end to deliver it a week later. When it arrived the bed was broken and the mattress badly stained. Replacement bed and mattress were going to be delivered 3 weeks later and again it didn't turn up! We didn't hear back from bensons for another week about what was happening. It took 5 weeks to finally get the replacement bed and mattress and AGAIN the mattress was damaged! We finally received our replacement mattress a further 11 weeks later! Disgusting. And so, with the order complete we were offered a "goodwill gesture" of £75. After the months of stress my pregnant wife went through, and to then have to receive the mattress and deal with our new born baby because it's taken so long to get what we paid for us only to be offered £75 after spend nearly £2000. Absolutely disgusted. And complete lack of sympathy at the end. Awful company. Steer well clear.

Purchased a new base mattress and headboard from bensons in the summer. On delivery of the items the base had a glue type stain on the edge and the mattress had what appeared to be a bloodstain. Contacted customer service and agreed £150 voucher which could only be spent in their store. In December we noticed on one side of the divan staples protruding from the frame. Contacted benson on 4 December and again 10 December customer service failed to come back to me on either occasion. I managed to speak with someone on 21 December and was informed to send photos of the fault and they would contact me. Again heard nothing until I contacted them again 8 January and spoke with customer service who informed me that the problem was not theirs and I should appoint my own assessor to view the fault at my expense. I would advise no one to buy their products as if you have a problem they are not interested in resolving it

Bought a double divan,mattress and headboard in December 2019. Mattress has sagged and collapsed despite following the guidance to rotate it on a regular basis. Customer services promised to respond in 48 hours,that was late December 2021. Having read other comments it would appear I am wasting my time so will now buy from a more reliable company. Won't be buying from Bensons ever again !

After visiting one of Bensons for Beds stores I ordered a bed base and frame. The customer service in store was absolutely fine. Everything arrived as it should have. Within 7-8months, the white paint started to come away on the headboard revealing the brown wood underneath. To me, it looked as though the paint layer was quite thin and I can only imagine the wood may have not been properly dried out before being painted or the paint job itself had not been applied and sealed properly. The order was in my dad's name so he contacted the company with pictures and insisted that they needed to take the frame away and replace it or at least strip and repaint the frame. We were told that we had to pay for a specialist to come out and view the bed frame and confirm that it is a manufacturers fault - if this was the case they would then reimburse us for the cost of having it looked at and replace the frame. There was absolutely no mention of this ANYWHERE on any documentation we were given. After going back and forth by email (bearing in mind this was when the Covid Pandemic was at it's worst and was in lockdown) we gave up with them. They took so long to reply and would just ignore us that it became more hassle than it's worth, so I will be sanding it down and repainting it myself. I will NEVER buy from Benson for Beds again and definitely do not recommend to anyone!

Totally shocking customer service promised to refund £150 for delivery of a damaged bed and to date still waiting for the refund despite a number of follow ups with no response received !! What kind of business operates like this.

Delivery date changed 3 times. Finally delivery date confirmed by text twice only for the delivery to be cancelled some 15 hours before delivery was due (3 days befor xmas). APPALLING attitude by their customer service department who felt it was acceptable for my elderly inlaws to sleep on a mattress. After some discussion, they offered 10% refund which I declined and talked with my feet and cancelled the order. I wholly accept that delivery dates can change - what I will not accept is the couldn't care less attitude of their customer services representative. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Absolute disgraceful customer services Absolute disgraceful customer services. Bed paid for in full in Oct. Delivery date agreed on 14/12/21. The bed did not arrive. I was then informed that day, after I had disposed of my current bed in preparation, that the new delivery date was 14/02. I was expected to sleep on my bedroom floor for 2 months. No apology, no compensation, unless I waited 2 months for the delayed order. They also refused to give me a loan bed after this was offered by their customer services. Stay away from this company, complete cowboys

If you value your time and money you will stay away from this shambles of a company. The worst experience involving a furniture company I've ever had. Overpriced trashy company with craftsmanship done by blind people with one hand. TRUST ME YOU DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. WASTED 8 MONTHS TRYING TO CHASE UP A REPLACEMENT AND WHEN THE REPLACEMENT CAME IT WAS THE WRONG ONE COMPLETELY. IN THE END EVEN CUSTOMER SERVICES WERE SHOCKED AT HOW POOR THE CRAFTSMANSHIP WAS AND GAVE ME A FULL REFUND.

The drivers were very helpful and polite. Only complaint was the delivery was late and we were told we would get a voucher for £50 which never arrived

Top prices bottom for customer services & quality of some products, bloody awful. stay away Check out all their reviews on the net if you don't believe this. Getting any refund is like getting blood out of a stone.

Disgusting customer service talk about trying to baffle you with bullcrap would never use this company again with their inferior merchandise. Bout a super king bed and mattress. It didn't last 6 months before we had a problem. They are not interested in anyway with putting the problem straight.

Me and my girlfriend bought a wardrobe for our bedroom and it has been an ABSOLOUTE DISGRACE. We paid someone to assemble the wardrobe and once it was up we could already see faults. The wardrobe doesn't even stand up straight the metal bars don't even fit and its now coming off the wall. We complained and after 8 weeks of waiting to get a response they said someone would come out and have a look. The first time they didn't even turn up after booking a day of work then the second time he came and took a few rubbish pictures and he was in and out in 2 minutes. They then said we could not get a refund because it was our fault due to paying a 3rd party to assemble it? ALL I CAN SAY IS DO NOT BUY FROM BENSONS BED.

So we bought the bed with the tv at the bottom we have gone threw 2 tvs and have been onto bensons for beds I wont go into it but what ever you do I would recommend you stay away from bensons for beds as your not buying the bed from these as I have been told nothing they can do about my tv being broke again as the company they get them from is no longer running so keep away from BENSONS FOR BEDS customer service is C..P

Appalling customer service! I'm still trying to get my refund for a divan bed with Slumberland Clima mattress 6000. Waited 5 weeks for my order that arrived damaged. Then another 5 weeks for a replacement which again arrived damaged. It seems as though Bensons for Beds just redistributes returns to customers for a replacement damaged goods previously sold. Incompetent company who thrives on selling poor quality goods with a terrible customer service. AVOID

Rude unprofessional Manager with no customer service I can see by all the bad reviews written there is a major problem with this company and it’s staff I only wish I had read them before I purchased an item that is no longer fit for purpose .

I would like to give a minus star review. Ordered bed in July, delivery booked for September then cancelled by Benson's, rearranged for end of October. When the bed was delivered, drawers were damaged, waiting another 8 weeks for them... Bed was for 90 year old father, ended up buying another temporary bed in the meantime, no apology, no compensation, please please don't waste your time or money with this company, check other stores/online

Ordered on 11 September, delivery due on 11 November. Rang today to request pm delivery to be told the supplier has run out of raw materials and won’t be delivered until 21 December. No bed after 11 November, over an hour on phone to get nowhere. Disgusting company.

Still waiting for abed ordered and paid for in July. Delivery date was September. We are now in November and still no bed. Glad I paid by Credit Card and can claim my money back because the Customer Service Department dont want to know, they just fob you off with excuses for yet more delays.

Took my money and said delivery would be 6 weeks. Called me 10 days before to say delivery is now not guaranteed and they don't know when it will be delivered! They are refusing to refund all my money despite the fact we will have no bed to sleep on and I have breast cancer and my husband had a bad back! They want to keep £200 of my money and only refund part!! DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL

Benson for beds keep sending me a customers private details to my email address. I have asked them to sort it out several times. I feel sorry for their customer as I now know her full address, phone number, name ,what she bought etc etc. I may have to contact the customer myself.
