14 days since my bedroom furniture delivery.three out of the 4 drawer units are badly damaged and some drawer handles cant be fitted.i have had six membors of staff ring me and say they will look into it and ring me back.as it is you have to keep explaining the problem,never buy from them

Do not trust them did not give me a copy of any paperwork except invoice, tried to cancel because or the virus problems and was told their would be a 20% cancellation fee no one told me of this but it is hidden away some where these guys cannot be trusted.

I am writing here to warn about the 20% cancellation fees Bensons unlawfully charging customers. I bought a wardrobe which was due to be delivered in 6 to 8 weeks. I received a call from the store saying that the delivery is going to be delayed. at that moment, I asked him to cancel my order and he promised to do so. surprisingly, they informed me that I have to pay 20% cancellation fees. This has never been informed to me and it is not written anywhere in any form. The store was not honest with me and they never disclose this to customers before purchase. I think I have rights as customer to cancel my order as it is still long way to deliver.

Never again will i buy from this company,Three out of the Four units that were delivered are damaged beyond repair.It is now ten days later and i have no idea whats happening,it gets passed from one to another,im on my fourth advisor and still no further forward.

I-gel mattress sagging after a few years use. Terrible considering the price. The mattress is very hot. Shame, as when first purchased, was great. Causes back ache now.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Bought a bed in haste and asked to cancel the order less than 48 hrs after being in store, a 20% " cancellation charge" was deducted £91 fir nothing, it is not stated in terms and conditions, not told at point of sale, this is so wrong, still waiting on customer services responding to my email and my online form. I would not recommend this company, shocking .

Worst customer service I ve ever seen. They refused to exchange or refund the faulty mattress . The store in Ipswich is awful and unhelpful. Customer service is worse then they told me to contact Firas who just like to come the time and day that siits them. Never ever buy anything from bensons bcz you ll just waste your money and you ll end up in nightmare .

Bensons For Beds: ILL-GOTTEN PROFIT BEFORE SAFETY. I went into their branch with my six year old daughter to get a mattress for her cabin bed. They sold me one which was unsafe for a cabin bed. They then refused to refund when I discovered it was unsafe. These are nasty guys who simply don't care who they hurt. I will however be persuing my money back under the Sales of Goods Act and General Product Safety Regulations.

The buying experience at Bensons was fine, good service and got the bed we wanted. Spent £1359 on a new mattress and bed. After 8 months the stitching has come apart in one corner exposing the inside of the mattress. Sent them 2 photographs and asked them can they resolve. Responses take 4 days on average, first response was an standard email apologising that we were. Or happy, but it was up to us to prove that the mattress is faulty as it isn’t over 6 months old, and we would have to arrange an pay for an inspection(£100) to prove it. If they agree they will refund the fee. I have responses that I am not happy, Cani have the details to escalate, and basically got a response to say that it is not their policy to escalate. I thought that was my decision? Currently getting int ouch with trading standards for something that I thought would be straight forward. Avoid Bensons for Beds at all costs, and choose smaller retailers who may actually care about your return business...

Avoid as all costs. I wish i'd read reviews before I spent nearly £1000 on a mattress that started sagging immediately and only got worse. Bensons send out a FIRA engineer to inspect (who doesn't get paid if he agrees the mattress is faulty) and surprise! he deemed it acceptable. Complained to furniture ombudsman who sided with Bensons. I found out later that they are funded by furniture companies including Bensons! How this is all legal is above me. Now resorting to small claims court on principle. Disgusting company.

id leave zero if i could, mattress useless after few months, was under 5 year warranty, they told me thats normal to be unusable and refuse refund, avoid them at all costs

Absolutely shocking , I wish I had read the reviews before spending £1000 on a bed from bensons for beds Base collapsed and at request bensons we paid for Independent technician aka Home Serve Repairs to send an “independent report” . Technician arrived ( he actually lives in our village ) and confirmed that in his opinion the base had collapsed, so much so that the metal rod was snapped and told my husband that this was manufacturers fault ...... today after endless phone calls to chase report it arrived .... Stating he had been examining the bed 45 minutes when in reality it was less than 10 minutes , just enough time to say manufacturing fault....... however the report states “damage caused by customer” !! what a complete rip off, home serve repairs are obviously getting one big backhander from “ Bensons for Faulty Beds” Never again, avoid at all costs

Customer advisor told me that I needed to pay for an independent assessor to confirm the mattress I have within my guarantee period is faulty... asked where in the terms and conditions it says this to be told “it doesn’t”, asked how I escalate the issue and was told that I needed to go to the furniture ombudsman, asked for the contact details and was told I needed to activity find it myself they wouldn’t provide it!

The mattress we bought dips both sides , we were told by the sales man Leigh that if we weren’t completely satisfied with the mattress we could send it back and get a full refund - 10% for the delivery admin costs .Now they don’t want to refund anything, ..be careful people do your research before you buy from this company......😡😡😡😡😡

Ordered a bed and wardrobe in January. Had a text message on Thursday to say it was coming on saturday as planned. Thursday afternoon, I had a phone call to say that the furniture had been damaged and was now not being delivered for yet another 6 weeks. When I said I wanted to cancel the whole order, they said it would cost me £170!! I WILL NEVER USE BENSONS FOR BEDS AGAIN.

Will never be shopping from here again. Bought a cupboard which didn’t even last me 6 months. Already broken and bensons for beds refuse to do anything about it even though it’s under the one year warranty. Would definitely not recommend anyone to shop from here!!

Ordered a bed in January. 8 weeks later it was delivered and clearly broken. The headboard box had clearly already been opened, at least one of the slats was visibly broken and another box had footprints all over it. Bensons response was we can reorder and wait another 4-8 weeks for delivery. They said they would give us a £75 goodwill gesture for our inconvenience, less than 4% of the total cost. My husband is self employed so had taken a day off to receive the bed.
