“This company mistreats and uses their most valued employees just to make a dollar. I used to work there over 5 years ago. I still know people that work there. Not the sales people. However the talented installers and repair people. These are the people that make them who they are. However they treat them with the most disrespect I have ever seen doing what I do for for 20 years now. They treat their sales people who actually rob customers better than the ones that try to give great service. This company is a crappy example of how to treat employees that matter. “Terrible customer service. I ordered a TV bracket on early Black Friday price to be delivered at home, and then a few days later I’m sent an email stating I refused the parcel and it’s being sent back. I had no one come to the house all day, and was repeatedly told by Best Buy customer service that UPS came to my house and I refused it which is a lie or computer glitch on their system. Best Buy refuses to reapply that price for me, instead offering other discounts that don’t match what I originally paid. Find it hard to understand how they can’t reapply the offer for a mistake by their delivery, and have now lost a customer for life. Best Buy support have no customer service and seemed to take the side of UPS and blame me for refusing the parcel!, HOW COULD I WHEN THE PARCEL NEVER CAME? Never had to fight a company like this for a problem, can only imagine what it would be like on bigger purchases.”
“Best Buy has a 15 day return policy which means on day 16 you do not get a refund or in store credit. I purchased a $300 Canon camera for my sister's birthday. I paid cash. She wanted a camera with a higher zoom. Never used. I returned with my receipt and was told I had to keep the item. I will never buy there again and am warning others of their return policy. Had I known that was their return policy I would have never purchased the camera

“So I guess you have decided to make business purchases separate. No one made this clear my first three times calling. Then I get stuck with a Lynn Eyler who tells me no managers are available and she can only give me maybes. This is by far the worst experience I have had with your store. Not to mention I do not need one of your employees telling me how to do my job. I left the call with no results, no real answers accept it may take up to 7-10 business days or 4-7 with paid express shipping.. No idea when they can get installed.. All maybes and not sure about getting two TV's installed. Absolutely insane!”
“Horrible experience. Had a refrigerator delivered, I watched in horror the delivery men get it off the truck, dragging it across the pavement and then bringing it into my kitchen. They set it down and I asked how they were going to get it in place as it was a brand house and I didn’t want my expensive hardwood floors to get scratched. I watched in even more horror as they dragged it across the wood and pushed it in place. No surprise there was a big long gash across the wood. I was upset so they called the geek squad and filed a claim, who knows what will come of that. I was reeling from the damaged floor when I noticed scratches and dents on the chrome handles. I called geek squad back and they offered me a Best Buy gift card and refused a partial refund. Unbelievable. I am beyond disgusted with Best Buy, this is the worse customer service experience ever. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG YOU’RE SCREWED!!!”

“I ordered a fairly expensive laptop from Best Buy online and it arrived with a missing accessory (specifically chose this item for its stylus pen!). I have a time constraint due to an upcoming trip, and need the laptop! The supervisor Dina and rep before her both tried to not take responsibility, never once admitting they made the mistake, saying an investigation would have to take place, etc...They offered no compensation and now I have to go through the hassle of returning it and buying the laptop elsewhere. I'll never buy from "Best" (Worst) Buy again!!”
“I recently had an online purchase delivery fiasco that cost me a days work and great frustration. I drove over to my local Best Buy and had an amazing problem solving experience from the manager Corey M and an appliance employee Eugenio. They not only resolved the issue but were super friendly and empathetic which meant allot after the stress and waste of time I underwent earlier in the day . Way to go guys amazing service I will be back for in person shopping but never again online . The delivery service needs to be re contracted to people who take pride in their work and are in the solutions business not the looking for problems business.”
“Not a problem with Best Buy per se. I bought a Samsung dryer from Best Buy 2 years ago. It has broken for the 3rd time. Samsung appliances are poorly designed and break frequently. Consumers should be prepared to buy a double extended warranty....they’ll need it.”
“I bought Samsung laundry pair from bestbuy last week. They supposed to install them today. I called the bestbuy and talked with an agent at 5.30p today and have been told they are delaying. Dispatcher will be at my home around 30 min. I called again at 7.30 and another agent told me they need to reschedule it 5 days later from today. Agents does not much helpful he said he cannot help about dirty clothes, he cannot do rather than reschedule delivery. Is this BestBuy? Is this how you guys take care of your customers satisfaction? “I needed service done with my 5 month old washer since it's not working right. I called Best Buy in Canton Ohio Geek Squad to make an appointment. This employee yelled at me for not checking to make sure its balance, but I was trying to explain that it was and only having 2 sheets in there shouldn't come off balance. Then it didn't matter bc it did it several times when my boyfriend was down there and took 3 hours to wash one load because it wouldn't spin to get all the water out. He yelled at me that I might not balancing it right and I dont need anyone to come out. Finally I said, just make my appointment. It was 10 mins of him trying not to make the appointment so he was trying to avoid making the appointment. He did but I figured I'll call the store today and talk to the manager of how I was treated by the employee. I talked to the assistant manager and was treated the same way. Then he asked me who I've talked to and I wasn't sure. I know it was a man but didn't get his name. It shouldn't be hard to see who worked last night in the Geek Squad. Then when I said I think he was a black man, he jumped down my throat saying like I was accusing that he was black. Hell no!! Geez he asked me who I talked to and I didn't say it at first because I thought it shouldn't be hard to see who worked that department last night just check the schedule and be done. Sometimes you can distinguish what race your speaking with. I dont need to be accused of something I'm not. He wanted me to tell him of I spoke with. That shouldn't be hard to check who worked and made the appointment, but he wanted more so I just said I think it was a black man..so is that so wrong. Or would it been different if I thought the man was Asian or maybe a heavy accent like Spanish or even German??? Would that make a difference. Or even he still had an English accent does that matter??? No it wouldn't be looked at that way, I said maybe a.back man it changes it. Really?? I'm not racist this is ridiculous that you can't say Anything or its offended. Then I called corporate to tell them how I got treated from both and didn't even get to the point about the man I talked to. This lady hung up on me.

This is very upsetting since I went with Bestbuy because they said they can deliver it on time. I just cancelled my order and went to Lowe’s. Very disappointing. Bad customer service.”

“Do not order online from Best Buy! I placed an order for some peripheral items (cables, etc.). Right after that my work went into meltdown and I am just coming out the other side now and realizing I never received the items. Their website says the package shipping status is still "Awaiting UPS pickup" which means they never sent the items and they freely admit this. However it has been 7 months now so they will not refund or reship the order. First I spent half an hour on the online chat. That rep seemed perfectly happy to "re"ship the order. Until she found out it was more that 6 months. Then she told me I had to call in as well. After going through the recorded phone tree, I got someone I couldn't understand telling me no refund or reship. It had been too long. I said that if I was complaining about a received product I would totally understand, but their own website says it was never delivered! 7 months was all I kept getting again and again, even from a supervisor. When asked "so you never shipped the product and now you are keeping my money, is that OK with you?" He started the standard script and I stopped him and asked again with the emphasis on YOU. He hesitated a long time and then went into the script. Keep in mind that all of the customer service reps are in the middle east and can barely be understood. I recommend you all go to Best Buy and shop until you find what you want, then go home and order it elsewhere.”
“So, I am writing to you today to talk about my experience with Best Buy. I bought the total tech support because I thought that it would be worth the investment, was I wrong. So here is what happened to me today and why I will not be renewing my total support membership.
At 11:21 this morning I called the Millbury Ma store to tell them that a Turtle Beach headset that I purchased or my son was less than a year ago was not working, They told me that they could not deal with that item because it was not part of the support policy and I would have to contact Turtle Beach.
At 12:09 PM I called the 1-800-433-5778 number to verify if this was true or not and they told me to make a appointment and the store should take care of everything. I tried to relay the information that I was told by the store personel earlier but they assured me that it would be taken care of. So I made a 6:40 PM appointment to bring it to the store.
At 3:40 PM I called the number again to verify that I would not be driving to the store and find out that they would not except the item. The woman again assured me that if they could not fix it at the store, that they would send it to the manufacturer for me.
At 6:40 PM I arrived at the store and was told that they could not help me with the item and I need to contact the manufacturer.
At 7:00 PM, I called the 1-800 number again and explained everything that happened to me and they told me that the store did the right thing. I was extremely irritated because I was told by 2 different representatives that things would be taken care of. I insisted to talk to a supervisor and they told me that there would be a 1 hour wait time. They told me that the supervisor would call me in one hour or so . It is now 9:10 PM and no phone call yet.
I am not happy and I will not be renewing my total tech support membership.”
“Please stay away if buying appliances or large items ..they use 3rd party delivery and installation company to cheap out. Home Depot..PC Richards use in house delivery and installation people that know what they are doing. This 3rd party company best buy uses carry their own liability and won't as much as use a different pipe or screw then they want to because of their own bogus fear factor.
Summary; best buy will say free delivery and installation ....nothing is free. It's $130 more if a GAS dryer is purchased . The washer has to have a PVC drain in the home for them to connect it. Mine does not. They told me to call a plumber and left washer in the middle of my room. Plumber wanted $150 to walk in the door . I explained situation and plumber said bogus...he connects washers to black rubber hose pipes all the time. No problems . Thank goodness he was honest and gave me info on phone. He said best buy should be held accountable . Well they wouldn't . I asked for a return whereas they would have to sell 2asher and dryer as an open box item and lose money . This doesn't make sense . They cheap out by hiring 3rd party delivery service so they don't have to pay insurances yet get returns due to.thismproblem taking a loss on open box items . I want no part of best buy. Their customer service is horrible and they don't care!”
