I made bad decision getting virgin media, since I had this contract the wifi have barely worked, everytime I have informed virginmedia they have blamed the others never got any correct answer, rude staff majority of them doesn't have a clue about company. Today I received an email that I've been charged extra for company's new upgrade which I was not informed before it got changed such a rubbish company. Give your staff training.. waiting desperately for the contract to finish so I can go back with SKY ..

Unfriendly service, with lots of disagreements and disputes. Simply put, too expensive and not providing good money for value.

Virgin Media is a pathetic excuse for a company. Would give zero stars if possible. I had a terrible experience with Virgin media before, but it was the only broadband available in my area so I begrudgingly entered into a 12-month contract with them. Less than 2 weeks into the contract the service was down for over 48 hours, as I work from home and couldn't be without internet for 2 days I had to pay extra for data on my mobile phone. Their supposedly amazing fibre internet doesn't work on the bedroom 10 feet away from the router. Their customer service goes from bad to downright rude. I'm now having to leave my place due to an issue with a neighbour where I'm not feeling safe in my flat so tried to transfer the service to my new address, however, their service is not available at the new flat (only 5 min walk from my current one) and when trying to find out what to do the 2 people I've spoken on the phone were incredibly unhelpful and rude so now in addition to the stress of moving I'll be £150 short because virgin media doest cover my new area, they didn't even try to pretend they cared, worst customer service i've ever experienced.

17 years as customer - treated like dirt. After 17 years as a loyal customer I noticed they were offering a better package than mine for half the price. Contacted them to ask for this package and was told "new customers only". Offered a package to increase my bill from £65 to £74! Cancelling is a nightmare with rude, arrogant operators who just keep talking over you. Final statement from customer service man was "you will be back in a week" said with a parting snear. Now being bombarded with silent calls from their retension department. If this is their business model then investors beware - their days are numbered.

Impossible to cancel, call center said the plan had been cancelled, but then didn't put it through, so I got charged an additional month for no reason. Very poor customer service and they make it very difficult to change as Virgin need 30 days notice that has to come from you not the company you are changing to(unlike all other broadband companies).

Wow - just dreadful helpdesk. Wait time easily 35+ mins no matter the time of day. and then you get a partially skilled tech person. Will be leaving.

had intermited problems with my phone.they do not listen and tell you its your phone 3 phones later and threats they would charge for engineer same problem.finaly got engineer free which was nightmare to get.and there was a problem in their main box.now problem losing signal on tv intermittently.keep telling me its my tv now which is 2 years old theres nothing wrong with it I'm getting error message saying no signal.but they won't. listen because it is working when tbey are on tbe phone.my nerves are shredded with having to deal with them and i could get the queen out for a visit easier than a virgin engineer

Avoid like the plague. Fine when running properly (although expensive) but impossible to resolve anything when there are problems. They are faceless organisation: nobody to talk to, only one number (in India of course), booking an engineer to correct problem is like a PhD exercise. You are just left in a state of impotent frustration and they don't care. Pure profiteering and zero customer service.

They should rebrand as Virgin Greedier. Charging loyal customers £65 when new customer deals are £27. Shocking.

I have been without broadband for nearly a week. Virgin media are amazingly so unprofessional, there customer service is ridiculous. They are taking money off me per month and not providing a service waste of time. Stay away from them. Now I know why they are virgins as got no idea how to run a business. Never again will I have dealings with such a piece of trash of a so called company.

If I could give them no stars I would. Could never get a signal in any room I live in a 2 bed flat ridiculous to say the least. Call to get someone out good luck they don’t show. The best of all they don’t understand the words of cancelling and continue to charge you even though you haven’t used the services in 2 months. Waste of money £40 just for WiFi nothing else included. These guys love wasting your money and your time. Very contradicting on the phone, worst customer service I’ve know in my life. Honestly Virgin Media you can shove it. GO WITH SKY GET MORE FOR YOUR MONEY DON’T LET THERE LIES GET YOU

over past 2 years price for the broadband went up by 100% + There wont be 2 more years - I we had enough of price increases.

Customer service is getting worse. The box resets itself while flicking through channels. On demand and catch stop working at least once a week. Broadband is fantastic when it’s working. Takes forever before you get to speak to someone. The manager who EVENTUALLY called me back today did not help with my complaint and would not listen to what I had to say. The complaint was not resolved. If you are an existing customer you get nothing whereas knew customers get more. I would not recommend virgin media. They use to be fantastic but over time they have got worse. They basically do not care about their customers.

Won't cancel contract. Sent previous account to debt collector after refusing to cancel contract as well. They offered me to go from every channel, sports, movies and kids to no TV and pay as go calls to save £2.50 a month. Company takes pi*s on everything. Lucky if you can speak to a English person but all they do is virgin is fastest and best broadband and early termination fees for mis-selling you things. They don't give a fu*k about customers. Only nice to sign you up. Believe every 1 star rating on all rating sites. I have had problems with all 3 broadband and 2 mobiles I had in the past. Never think maybe they will be better this time, in fact I think virgin are getting worse

Shockingly bad customer service. I was mid sold my initial package. Head told there were no charges to set up virgin media and was then billed £204. I had specifically asked as I told them I would not take out VM if there was a charge. So they fraudulently gained my account. They then took the money out two weeks early which was directly after Xmas. This put my account into arrests. Each time I have spoken to customer service I have been promised they would sort out the problems but never do. I have been lied to and cheated out of money. Disgusting service. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND VIRGIN MEDIA
