My daughter ordered washing machine from boots kitchen appliances and paid £25 to have it connected.. The fitter who was in a hurry unbeknown to her connected the new machine to her old hose that had been there aprox 12 years. He then asked to use the toilet and left it in disgusting state and left. She did not complain. A few months later the hose blew and flooded her hallway. She complained to Boots who told her its got nothing to do with boots sort it out with A O.? Apparently Boots take your money but then take no responsibility when things go wrong and pass you onto A O. (surely if you wanted to order from A O you would) so it appears you think you must be safe with Boots (dont be fooled) A O replaced the hose and few days later machine is leaking and now it has nothing to do with Boots or A O. A O say its nothing to do with them sort it out with the manufacturer. Needless to say she is still waiting for it to be sorted. SO BEWARE IF YOU ARE THINKING OF ORDERING ANYTHING FROM BOOTS APPLIANCES BECAUSE OF THERE NAME DONT GET CAUGHT LIKE ME.I HOPE THIS IS INFORMATIVE TO HELP YOU DECIDE.GOOD LUCK

I placed my order with Boots Appliances under the mistaken belief that they would be reliable with good customer service. The fridge freezer delivered is broken; the fridge temperature won’t go below 14.1C and it’s making an awful noise. I can’t move it so I can’t even turn it off to prevent the humming that’s keeping me awake at night. I reported the issue the day after delivery at which point it was established that the delivery drivers had made a mistake by pushing the appliance against the back wall. Delivery drivers returned to move the appliance but the temperature and noise issues remain. I’ve called again to exercise my right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act but have been informed that I need a manufacturer engineer to visit in order to certify that the fridge freezer is indeed broken; my word or indeed the offer to send video and photos is apparently not sufficient.

Washing machine not delivered on the appointed day. No contact from anyone. I used this company because I could get hundreds of Boots Advantage Card points. Was eventually delivered some days later in September. It’s November 17th and I STILL cannot get the points added despite several attempts. Would NOT recommend.

Guys turned up to deliver to deliver our new washing machine and remove the old one. First thing the delivery man said was that our old washing machine would not come out of the hole….which of course it would. Then he measured the hole only to inform me that the washing machine i had ordered would not fit (despite me measuring it multiple times and checking the size specifications online). I never even saw the new washing machine it did not come off the delivery truck. Then i got an email confirming delivery and that my account had been credited with over £700…for a service they had not been able to provide. After multiple prolonged conversations with customer service the lady i spoke to advised the delivery men had uploaded photos of their measurements and the washing machine i ordered must have the wrong size specifications online and she could not guarantee that if i ordered another through boots kitchen appliances that it would fit. And to top it all off A MONTH later i am still waiting for my refund of over £700! In the meantime i have of course had to pay for another new washing machine to be delivered - we used curry's - video chat very easy told him what we needed, he found it straight away, lovely customer service, next day delivery and v friendly delivery men. I will never use boots kitchen appliances again!

They will not discuss a damaged drawer, tried getting a replacement... Still waiting....since delivery on 3rd September. Tried speaking with them they don't answer the phone. Told me to contact the manufacturer...why ? You sold me it under a month ago? Never ever buy off them again... They get from AO but AO don't care either whether you have been a good customer... well rest assured I won't be a customer again!

Ordered a Bosch dishwasher for delivery 4 days later and it did not arrive! Waited in for 12 hours. Rang them and they said it had not been loaded onto the van, even though I had a message to say it had. I got it redelivered but all I got was the £30 delivery refunded, which would have been free anyway and even then only after having to phone again. AO are getting Boots a bad name. I will not be using AO again in a hurry.

My father who is 86 years old paid for delivery and install of a new dishwasher and removal of the old one Driver arrived and was not able to install the new one as he has to turn the mains water off he is not a plumber just a driver (this is not advertised or mentioned at time of purchase) John Lewis installed previous washing machine and dishwasher never had a problem doing this so they left the dishwasher and left called boots who assured me they would look into this I offered to go and turn the water off and back on when they finished still waiting for a call back in the meantime they have returned and taken the dishwasher away so they have the dishwasher and my dads £410 terrible service just turned up and took it now will have to buy another one and they still have his money despicable

Search the web for replacement dishwasher, waited over 10 days & on the day of delivery no mail, call communication, so I call to be told dishwasher was not put on the truck then changed his story there no longer in stock, why commit & have a appliance devision & the ethics to back up, shameful service.

I bought a fridge from Boots and buying this fridge freezer was a nightmare to us. At the buying phase there were no problem. But then the problems started. I specifically state that they need to carry it to my flat and there are stairs. At first delivery appointment they did not even show up. At second appointment they came, and they said that they cannot take the refrigerator to the flat and they went back. At the third appointment they came, and they tried to take the fridge to the flat. I said TRIED but they COULDNT BE ABLE TO. They DROPPED the fridge, they damaged all the apartment walls, they damaged the fridge and most importantly they BROKE THE APARTMENT GLASS. They could have hurt themselves or anyone else. This was a complete disaster. My children could get hurt. I called them and explain the situation they said they will change the refrigerator and came to my flat 4th time. The team came said that they cannot take the damaged one and they again left my flat. At the fifth time they finally be able to take the refrigerator away from my flat. I want to Express that I am terribly disappointed this experience. The journey began at the June and because of the clumsiness of the BOOTS I didn’t have a fridge until September. We are a family with 3 children, and we did not have a fridge in summer days. Also, we waited all Sunday at home because of them. At the end I asked them to pay for the glass and the walls and they are not accepting this. This is the last point. I trusted the name of The BOOTS and I am really disappointed by the way of your doing things. I would like to say that I bought a refrigerator from somewhere else and it is an american style fridge and I had no problem with the delivery. This is your clumsiness and I am waiting for you to take responsibility.

Ordered TV for home delivery. All customers have to wait 5 days for free delivery + stay home a half of the day during delivery. I did it. No one arrived even at 10 pm. I had to cancel my order. I expect to get full refund in next 5 days. Bad work. Brilliant logistics.Waste of time. It is killing. Never again Boots Kitchen Appliances.

Purchased a washing machine from Boots Kitchen Appliances, customer service is very bad, I'm trying to get a Samsung washing machine replaced, they resold me a washing machine that was returned by a customer, the drum was wet inside, and dusty outside, and not happy at all, the washing machine is loud, rumbles a lot on the spin, and moves across the floor on a spin, the telephone lines for customer services is a wait time over an hour on a very expensive 0344 number, I will never use this company again, ever, ever, ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shame on you Boots!!!!! You are supposed to be a reputable company, not anymore!

This is the worst seller I've come across in my life. We bought a refrigerator. Never in my life has a light burned up in a fridge, but this one did. The whole unit is damaged. Wrote and mailed to Boots, filled in their webform. Called them but after 30 minutes waiting still no answer. Never ever again will we buy from these crooks again.

Threatening behaviour from delivery driver, after incident threatened to take away my new cooker and then refused to unpack, inspect and take it in the house as has been paid for. Reason being could not deliver a previous item as they were not home so had no space for my old cooker despite having paid for recycling, so I was upset and asked when they would take it. Whilst calling his office he was very rude and arrogant towards me, my teenage son heard him shouting and came downstairs and asked “why he was being a twat to my mum” he then proceeded to run into the house towards my son shouting “you what” and trying to hit him by attempting to push past me, a 56 yr old woman with osteoarthritis. I threatened to call the police which he replied saying “you can call them I don’t care no more, you’ll do nothing” and that I had no proof of anything. He then taunted being rude as he walked to the van and the young lad with him decided it was a good idea to stick his middle finger as they away, despite being silent the whole time from when the arguing started. I was left shaking and very stressed and upset due to the fact this man tried to physically assault my teenage son. I called customer service and they said they will take it up and look into it.

Avoid BOOTS APPLIANCES at all costs. If I'd read Trustpilot reviews about Boots Appliances I would have gone elsewhere and now that I know they are part of AO.COM I will be not do business with them either. Friday: Telephoned an ordered for Bosch washer dryer for delivery to London address. Machine, fitting etc & extra £10 for Sunday delivery was paid by Euro Mastercard with Irish billing address. Email receipt and text with link to order tracking received. Saturday: Text confirming delivery advised me to check on Sunday at 7am re delivery time so no plans could be made for Sunday, I had to accommodate Boots. This was the first hint of a badly organised system. Seems Boots do not organise deliveries for Sunday on Saturday. Sunday: 7am delivery link advised "Your order has been cancelled. Current status we've received your order". No reply to my call to depot. During the day and into the evening, each time I called Boots my number was identified, I was advised that the appliance would be delivered and given an option to contact the driver who did not answer three calls at various times. I had no idea of what was happening. Boots sales department advised that Security had cancelled my order because of the amount, that they required sight of a bank statement. Security CANCELLED, they did not suspend and made no attempt to share this information which could have been easily supplied. Meanwhile my bank processed the payment and Boots had my money but I had no machine and no one was doing anything about it. I cancelled the order and have since purchased elsewhere. Mastercard is an international method of payment. When Boots processed my payment on Friday it was cleared by my bank, payment was guaranteed. The order was for a washer dryer to be delivered to a property where it was to be fitted by Boots. It was not an expensive laptop or whatever that could easily be removed. When I cancelled my order Boots staff were not bothered, no one seemed to know anything or tried to put things right. My request for a call on Monday from a manager who might be able to explain the lack of care and communication has not been actioned. Disgraceful lack of professionalism and arrogance.

Product faulty and Boots (which is actually AO) denied us our Consumer Rights under the 2015 act and would not budge, just kept quoting their own company policy which they clearly think carries more weight than the law! Handed the matter over to the credit card company to fight for our money back. All we wanted to do was reject the item and receive a refund but, AO would not listen. Terrible company, please avoid and read other reviews on here.

Completely useless. We ordered a new washing machine and paid extra to have the old one taken away. The day before the delivery we received multiple phone calls trying to upsell extended warranties which we made clear we didn’t want. When the delivery men arrived they refused to take the old machine because they had the wrong paperwork (which we later found out was caused by the salesperson the previous day). Despite us having a receipt for the disposal they wouldn’t take it or even make a phone call to find out what had happened. After multiple calls to customer services we were told it would be collected the following afternoon, but then they turned up an hour early, when we were out, and now they say they can’t come back today or in the evenings during the week. As we work full time we’re now stuck with a broken washing machine in our hall for the foreseeable future.

I bought a Candy washing machine with Boots 3 months a go. We are now waiting for our fouth repair. It took 3 engineer visits to get the door replaced, as the machine would not work if the door does not catch properly. Now we are waiting for an engineer again as the machine flooded the kitchen yesterday. I have asked Boots to replace the machine as I have no confidence in the product now. Boots have refused and an engineer will call out in 3 days. If you have a problem with your item do not expect good customer service. Expect to take many days off work for repeat visits from tradesmen.

Purchased a dishwasher that came with missing accessories, warped bottom rack and generally not fit for purpose. I contacted Boots after a few days to be told that an engineer had to come out and then they would refund/replace. Engineer came out, advised of faults etc. then came the hard work! Boots refused to refund or replace, then said if I have a refund I would have to pay 30% of cost as it was used!. Then indesit could not send a rack as they don't have them, so now with Trading Standards -- you have been warned. Avoid at all costs

Pathetic customer service and no warranty for commercial use - which they conveniently hide. They have no interest in keeping customers and they do nothing to try and help whatsoever. I will never buy from AO or Boots Appliances again.
