“It's been over a month since I canceled my ticket due to coronavirus, and even though the airlines canceled my flight around the end of March, I still haven't got their response or money back. No customer service via the phone or social media. I start feeling like they are not panning to give me my money back and it's going to be a long fight. I am dealing with this company for the first and last time.”

“We are stranded in Australia because of them. Tried to contact them on 15th March (and thereafter) to change our tickets to get home. Emirates agreed we could but it had to be done through Budget air. In the meantime everything locked down. Eventually we got a generic email telling us everything was gonna be alright, advising us to check their website and, believe it or not, trying to sell us another holiday in the future. It ended with let’s make dreams together. Nightmares would be more accurate.
We found out off Emirates that the flight had been cancelled- no notification from BudgetAir. Their website told us that if our flight was cancelled we should not contact them but we would automatically get vouchers in a few weeks time. Vouchers won’t get us home. We have had to pay £1200 each for a repatriation flight when we could have got home for about £100 extra if we had been able to change our Emirates booking. What happened was unexpected and unprecedented but BudgetAir were caught with their pants down. If things go wrong they won’t help you. Book direct with the airline in future”

“I booked my flight from them. The worst customer service ever....Tried to reach them 15 days before my flight, didnt even got a single proper response. Sent them email everyday to both the indian customer service center as well as canadian center and I got all the automatic replies back except the 2 response I got which were like for changing flight you have to pay, every flight has their own changing fee and if you want to change call us.And when you call them the automatic reply over there is due to coronavirus outbreak, we are experiencing higher volume send us email. Where the hell should one go in this case.
I even paid extra for Service Package Premium when I bought the ticket which allows me to waive the administrative fee. Its better to book flight either from direct airlines website or some better website.”

I made a huge mistake for choosing them, and when I wanted to cancel due to the virus situation in the country I was planning to go, BudgetAir became unreachable either by phone or their web email form. Trying to use the cancel feature on their website was useless, even though it promises that "Within 2 days you will receive a cost overview via e-mail" -- that never happened. Tried to call them multiple times, waited for close to an hour each time, and had to end the call, as it was useless since nobody is picking up.
Do not waste your money and energy on them.”

Randomly changing flight bookings from 9 hour journeys to 30 hours and then being commpletely unreachable for days. Steer clear of this absolute mess of a website and company.”

Charged twice (duplicate tickets) delayed confirmation and now only partial refund (1/3RD OF TICKET PRICE FOR NO FAULT OF MINE!) despite false promises OF COMPLETE REFUND.

Booked through their website which went completely blank post transaction and ultimately booked twice!
Chased atleast 20 times over past two months,after which they assured complete refund because it was their fault (of course only verbally despite multiple request to send me details of refund).
Got refund yesterday, completely shocked as they have not refunded the air fare (only £141/ 488) saying cancellation charges. Duplicate booking due to your inefficient website is it equal to cancellation by customer ? Why should the customer lose money due to your fault?
And of course as ever they are not even picking up the phone. Hassled and frustrated as ever. Needless to say will never book with this site again but will continue my effort to fight this fraud at all levels”
“Booked ticket for KUL , flight were changed by PAL and I would have missed connecting flight at Manila due to this change. 3 days tried to budget air but no one picked call .After multiple emails demanded that I need pay fee to change flight . Manage to change my flights with PAL . NEVER BUDGET AIR AGAIN NEVER”

You get no help whatsoever! after 4 long phone calls with waiting time on hold for over 40min and one of the time I got hang up...
Needed to change a flight due to the the ongoing virus, 3 days trying to contact them and when I did they offered little to no help... They told me I have to contact the airline directly which I did.. the airline says the ticket belongs to them and they have to do the amendments not the airline and why I was made to call the airline..
After 4 to 5 more calls (costing me quite a bit) the airline agreed to refund but they had to refund the money back to budgetair as the ticket belongs to them and they to forward that money back to me... THIS THEY HAVE KEPT MY REFUND FOR THE TICKETS and I have not seen a penny!! .... Ignoring my emails.. SCAM AND ROBBERS.. avoid and book directly from airline... Hope this will help other people not to full in this trap of ruthless travel agents..”
