My flight got cancelled, I emailed BudgetAir asking for a refund. One month, no replies. Fraudulent company.

I am still waiting for my refund money as flight got a few flights cancelled due to coronavirus. It’s been 5 and 3 months and still haven’t received my refund... surely it shouldn’t take that long to get a refund... i write emails almost every day and I have the same answer, not even a personal answer... can’t even get anyone on the phone to speak to. Their customer service is awful... spend a bit more money but a better company...

Worst company I have ever had dealings with in over 30 year of booking flights No ticket confirmation, no e-ticket and no reply from various emails. In fact nothing ! Money was taken almost immediately . Now in the hands of PayPal to hopefully get refund

My flight been canceled because budgetAir.co.uk haven't taken money and didn't transfer money to airline company. I had to buy more expensive tickets urgently. Very disappointing

As I am reading the comments bellow I see that I am not alone. I canceled my flight 4 months ago. I didn't get any answer before the flight nor after. I tried to reach them so many times to get my money back. No answers at all. Air Canada could not help me to cancel my flight because they needed it to be done from this non existing agency. They have no respect for their customers.

Left me stranded with a cancelled flight. Did not try to help me at all. Instead of calling the airline and helping me just changed my booking for a way later date for their own convenient. Just threatened me with extra charges. Promised to contact me after i insist being helped and did not contacted me back. They JUST think about your money nothing else.

Absolute thieves, non-existent customer service, misleading and false information on multiple occasions. The worst travel agent I have ever dealt with. I have had open and helpful lines of communication with the airline for my flights (Philippine Airlines) who have shared screenshots of their systems to show absolute transparency that my money is with BudgetAir. I've been waiting on a refund for airline cancelled flights for over 3 months and have had 1 email from BudgetAir. They also charge extra for 'refund protect' and 'service package premium' which I was a fool to buy - do not bother, it offers absolutely nothing... they just steal your money. I will now only ever go direct to the airline for my bookings and never waste my own money with a travel agent.

Depuis l'annulation de mes billets d'avion au mois de mars par la compagnie aérienne SWISS International Air Lines suite à la COVID19, j'ai envoyé des dizaines de messages à l'Agence de Voyage Budgetair pour réclamer le remboursement sans suite crédible. Au début ils m'ont fait comprendre qu'ils attendent que SWISS procède au remboursement pour qu'à leur tour, ils me remboursent. Pendant presque 3 mois je ne cesse de les relancer par mail en vain. Ils ne répondent pas du tout au téléphone. Ensuite, les 11 et 12 juin dernier, je reçois par mail, la confirmation de remboursement de mes 2 billets par SWISS International Air Lines. Mais jusqu'à présent, Budgetair ne me donne aucune information sur l'état de ma demande. Je crois qu'il s'agit d'une attitude d'escroquerie. Je crois que tous les clients qui sont dans la même situation doivent s'organiser pour assigner Budgetair en justice. Boulaye SIDIBE

The worst experience ever. Very bad communication, zero support. The online reference number for the flight I received from BudgetAir is not recognised by the airline, so I cannot manage my booking, and no one at BudgetAir is available to help. Also, I need to cancel the flight due to the pandemic, but I can only do so via BudgetAir – again, no one responds to my emails, so I am unable to do anything about my flights. Do not book with BudgetAir, as you will only lose your money.

From what I've been reading BudgetAir is managed by Travix International BV (in short, Travix) with company head quarters in Amsterdam, Holland. Travix was however acquired or taken over by Trip.com Group which is based in Shanghai, China at the beginning of this year. This therefore means that somebody new is now running the BudgetAir show and if we are now playing by Chinese rules then good luck with getting a refund if you recently purchased tickets and your flights were cancelled. I'm actually down by 18 Malaysia Airline tickets purchased from BudgetAir with no apparent way to contact them as of now, will book directly next time, no more third party agents. BTW, Trip.com Group also operates Skyscanner which is another third party agent selling plane tickets, so BEWARE!!! The above information can be verified via Wikipedia.

No customer service at all. Our refund was transferred back to BudgetAir by Etihad (due to covid cancellation).... and BudgetAir has embezzed the money ... gave no answers for more than 10 weeks and they finally directed me back to Etihad - who obviously turned us back to BudgetAir..... Never again! Stay away from these thieves!!

DO NOT USE THEM OR BOOK EMIRATES with them neither will refund your money flights cancelled 20th March Budget tell me Emirates have our money Emirates tell me Budget have to request it back then give it to us. It's made me ill trying to get it back.

DO NOT use this service - Gulf airline cancelled my flight and I have been trying to rebook the flights, no one seems to be responding back to me - I have emailed them several times but no response. I have lost my money as they haven't refunded the money for cancellation and now I have to rebook my ticket

It's been over a month since I canceled my ticket due to coronavirus, and even though the airlines canceled my flight around the end of March, I still haven't got their response or money back. No customer service via the phone or social media. I start feeling like they are not going to give me my money back and it's going to be a long fight. I am dealing with this company for the first and last time.
