I cancelled a purchase of beds within 2 days of making the payment. only 80% of my money was refunded back to me. I was not made aware of this huge 20% deduction at the point of sale in the event of a cancellation. I believe this is a breach of my consumer rights. There is practically no reason or logic as to why they need to deduct 20%. When challenged, the reply I got is that they don't need to let me know. Unprofessional managers at the call centres who are extremely rude and couldn't care less about my issue.

Purchased carpet and underlay for hall, landing and stairs and the service was very good. Ray Monk was knowledgeable about his products, offered the appropriate advice and the price of the purchase was excellent. Fitter was very professional, made a very good installation and cleaned up after himself. We have used this store on three occasions in the past twelve months and always received very good service. Thank you to everyone.

Try to avoid CARPET RIGHT PLEASE Tony, Micheal, and Karl from Blackpool, We booked a carpet and paid 100% 6 weeks back with all taxes and fitting, was scheduled on 12/4/2017 but due to the wrong address no one turn up, letter someone came in and said I am self employee, and refuse to get the carpet fitted due to uneven floor, and left the promises, They refuse the refund after 8 visits also one month follow ups finally they have agree to deliver carpet on 2nd May at 10:00am, Our carpet fitter was in the lobby from 09:00am until 01:00pm, when I called them they explain us that said your hotel was not there so delivery will be next day. and I paid fitter for nothing, ( basically no one came to deliver we have video camera evidence ) Basically they need a experienced manager to look after for the brand value. it is completely unprofessional service means waisting of time and money there are good options available. We got another professional carpet company without a single issues now and carpet has been fitted,

Buyers beware. I have been communicating with their head office in respect of overcharging for fitting charges. The charges on the invoice is very unclear and when questioned, realise that they have charged me £21.65 per square metre for fitting vinyl. However, when they eventually responded to my complaint (29 days later claiming their email system has went down and their customer service department was short staffed) I insisted the fitting charge was broken down for carpet and vinyl. To my amazement, they quote £4.00 per metre for fitting then add 2 x 1 metres of vinyl supplied, fitting charge £43.30 and they advise this is the correct price? I have decided to raise a small claims against Carpetright which although will be expensive, court costs will be added to the refund I'm due as I am now into 34 days of the complaint and they still have failed to answer my questions. Poor customer relations, inadequate customer care and a local Hamilton branch scamming customers for fitting charges. Many colleagues I have spoken to work around companies going into receivership so buyers beware if parting with cash sales, you should firstly avoid them and seek your purchases elsewhere than Carpetright, or if stuck, ask them to fully explain their fitting charges in full and if still stuck in a sale, use a credit card. In the event of administration, buyers have better rights to claim your money back.

Went to the Slough store and I have to say the customer service was the worst I have experienced. Three doors down is SCS and there customer service was superb. I would rather spend extra money and go somewhere other than Carpetwrong.

Bought a bed frame fron Cramlington store. Nowhere was it mentioned by either staff in store or on the website that this was self assembly. Don't mind attaching a couple of pieces but object to building the whole bed. Feel very let down. Very disappointing.

Carpetright failed to turn up to fit floor covering despite telling me several times within the day that the work would be completed. Basically you cannot believe a word they say and customer service is non existent, they just ignore phone calls, emails and basically take the view we have your money so we will fit the flooring when we are ready. Poor service company with inexperienced sales who just dont understand the concept of honesty with a customer.

wrong carpet on two occasions. carpet fitter was so rude and unhelpful to us as the store had short paid him from the money we had paid up front so he refused to be helpful and was very begrudging in having to fit the carpet for us. now waiting to resolve getting a replacement carpet as store assistant has told us you cant guarantee getting carpet same colour as your OFFICIAL sample they send due to the batch of dye that they use so whats the point in getting a sample to match your decor. stress....stress...stress. i am not having one enjoyable moment and have already paid nearly one thousand pounds for my carpet to them and still have the wrong carpet in my house.

My mother recently had her carpet fitted by CarpetWright, the Carpet Fitter was rude to my mum regarding the removing of the remnants of the underlay and excess of carpet. When she asked him if he could remove this He then responsed by being snappy and saying you haven't paid for that, when in fact on ordering that service wasn't offered to her, which baring in mind my mum lives only with my younger sister, so now they have the difficulty of removing this themselves. It would have been nice for him to offer for a charge to take it away, but he was just rude about it and left it with her. Very disappointed in the customer service of one of your employees, and as I can see from your ratings it is a regular occurrence.

We went to the Oldham Store on Saturday with the intention of placing an order. Dealt with this lady who couldn't add up properly even with the use of a calculated and also wanted to automatically add over 30% wastage onto our order - over 12msq. Anyway we arranged for somebody to come and measure up. Got a few phonecalls from a 'gentleman' at the same branch that day arguing that they needed to add that wastage on. Over and over again my partner said that he would agree the actual quantities when they came to measure so what is the point in having this discussion at this point in time. Also it would take 40 days unless we paid an extra £50 for speedy delivery. On and on and on this idiot went on also saying we needed to pay £100 for somebody to come measure up though this was not mentioned in store. To cut a long story short we went to a local carpet suppliers and fitters and arranged for somebody to come on monday to measure up and we will have the carpet fitted within 7 days. We don't pay for delivery - we get a miles better carpet substantially cheaper, cheaper fitting costs and don't pay £19.99 for carpet spray. Lesson learned : stay away from big retail parks with greedy salespeople only interested in commission. Royton Carpets = better option.

Dealt with Bodmin Cornwall store-1st time used CR for a bedroom carpet they had to replace it as massive line in it that would not Hoover out! Thought give them another go for stairs and landing done a good job but fitters never turned up till after 7pm and my neighbours didn't appreciate the hammering and banging well past 9pm! Thought 3rd time lucky get them to do another bedroom and day before due to be fitted they cancel blaming fitters quit! As of yet bearing in mind already waited 4 weeks for carpet to be fitted they have no idea when they will be coming! Will deff not be using again for sure!!

The contractor that Carpetright sent to fit my carpet let them down badly. They missed the first installation appointment which meant I wasted a day at home waiting for a fitter that never arrived. Then on the second installation appointment the fitter hit a nail through an aluminium plate and into the central heating pipework. Water everywhere and an expensive plumber visit to fix. Afterwards, Carpetright refused to contribute towards the plumber costs. This is disgraceful considering I wasted an unpaid day at home waiting for a fitter and then spent a couple hundred pounds for a plumber to fix a problem caused by a careless fitter supplied by Carpetright. This was the branch in Old Kent Rd, London.

Arranged measurement of a property and took the day off to meet them. End of the allocated time slot arrived and still no word from anybody, called Carpetright who said they'd check and get back to me and again, didn't hear anything. How hard is it to respect your customers and not waste their time?
