everything from start to finish , apart from the sales assistant in capehill branch, the selly oak and grand central are to be avoided. it took 18 minutes for THE COMPLAINT DEPARTMENT to answer the call real let down

My local branch in Melton Mowbray is fantastic. I have been there for the last 3 christmas holidays to sort out phones for my kids. The staff are pleasant, helpful, informative and really friendly, nothing is too much trouble. This year, Dominic dealt with my queries which did not result in a sale, however, the service was still excellent and informative. The manager of this store ( young man whose name escapes me) has also been very helpful in the past. Great service!! Thank you

Poor customer service at Stratford Westfield and Stratford Centre Carphone Warehouse stores. In both cases it was poor - we experienced long waits, staff gave misleading information and just could not be bothered. Staff at Carphone Ware house obviously don't need our custom - we left without completing our sale and were told to return "tomorrow"!

Never delivered the goods order. Had problems getting the money back. Store and telephone customers services not up to the standard expected and had to keep referring to notes on what to do ...... Suggest going to the prime suppliers O2, Vodaphone or Apple directly.

I reregistered with their iD network and it is very hard to get any connection even at home. Am changing network and won't be going there for my phone ever again.

If I could rate this as zero stars I would. I signed up for a new contract over the phone and was basically mis sold. I was advised my phone would arrive the next day, it didn’t it arrived a week later following 3 phone calls to customer services. I was asked which colour I would like, I asked for rose gold but the phone arrived in grey. Further phone call and visit to a store to be told eventually the I phone 6 only came in grey. I signed up to a contract after haggling to £26 a month, my contract arrived at £30 a month. I wrote an email complaining and no reply. Appalling customer service, a series of lies. I will never use or recommend your company ever again.

Ordered phones for Christmas presents. Was told when ordered they would be available before Christmas. They weren't - delivery problems to store. I wanted to cancel and re-purchase from in-store stock, but wasn't able to do this. Conflicting advice from different people in Carphone Warehouse. Wasted a lot of my time and a total lack of customer focus. Even their complaints process doesn't let the customer know the outcome!

Phone price at carphone warehouse was labelled at 319.99 exactly the same price as argos who had no stock, after I'd returned faulty phone, so went to purchase somewhere else, after giving name address etc etc and about to pay noticed they were trying to charge me 339.99, so pointed out advertised price, I was rudely told thats the price and thats it, we haven't changed display yet, (and still haven't or covered up) so I said no problem I'll buy somewhere else. Pc world manager intervened as I was leaving store when I pressed sad face on there satisfaction machine on the way out. He went and had a thorough conversation with C/w sales assistant who was adamant and told us he can withdraw advert if he wished upto so many days? Basically didn't want to continue with sale and I wasn't that bothered but the pc world manager was absolutely insistant that they need to change advert and address there bad behaviour and to give me a good deal, I purchased because of the fuss the pc world manager had gone to on my behalf, thanks, which I am extremely greatful for, he was pointing out that pc world do not operate like this to Carphone warehouse sales man, who was less than happy with backing down, I nearly walked out again - once bit twice shy and will never deal with carphone warehouse again at Tamworth, who are bringing pcworld into disrepute in my opinion, oldest trick in the book to get etc 20 quid.

Was served by a man at yate branch today and I can’t believe how rude and arrogant he came across!i came into the store and shouted ‘HELLO?!’ Whilst looking annoyed! I was trying to get out a contract phone and it declined and he was sighing, no sorry, miserable as sin, and when I said I’d come back later to sort it out again he said ‘yeah ok’ but very rude , I’ve never had any trouble with care phone warehouse in the past but this guy just takes the mick with his sad pathetic poor customer service skills!

A busy time of year I know, but after my phone being left at the Dpd warehouse I called to ask if I could change my delivery address. It was being delivered to my office, which would nw be unmanned until the new year. I was passed round three different departments and then passed to Dpd where I waited in a que for over 40 minuets to be told I had to speak to Carphone Warehouse. Really poor service

just received a delivery of a mobile phone delivered by DPD and found the the packaging open and damaged. rang the helpline to get a woman in south Africa who told me to take it to a car phone warehouse shop, when asked if I would get the delivery refunded as I would have to travel 18 mile to the nearest shop, I was told no. I then insisted I wanted the service I had paid for, the delivery of an undamaged product to my door, she put me on hold and never returned eventually the call timed out. Tried to ring one of the shops but again was put on hold and the call timed out. They definitely appear to be avoiding their customers. Can see this going one way to the courts of breach of contract under the consumers act.

***CPW MANAGERS COULD DAMAGE YOUR CREDIT RATING AND AFFECT YOUR CHANCE OF GETTING A CONTRACT!!! - READ THIS FIRST*** I’ll keep it to the point. Called to get a contract on Monday. My credit score is strong, agent on phone offered to send phone to my home, or a store. I asked to have sent to a store near where I was working. Next day I attended store to pick up phone. Store manager cancelled my order and tried to re-process (It was later confirmed by a CPW telephone agent it is ‘not unheard of’ so they can hit branch sales targets)! Whilst I had passed the Vodafone credit check with no issues, the CPW system flagged a concern (trying to but 2 phones in 24 hrs) and I was REFUSED MY PHONE!! WORSE STILL... repeated attempts to resolve this issue have meant Vodafone will now not issue a contract to me for THREE MONTHS and REPEATED CREDIT CHECKS FOR CARPHONE WAREHOUSE COULD DAMAGE MY CREDIT SCORE!! In the last 6 days I have called CPW repeatedly and tried to resolve with customer services... BUT WAIT... Customer services say THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN RESOLVE THE COMPLAINT IS THE STORE MANAGER WHO ABUSED THE SYSTEM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! This suggests the manager will not face any disciplinary action and CPW’s unscrupulous business practices will continue AND COULD AFFECT ALL FUTURE CUSTOMERS INCLUDING YOU!!! THROUGHOUT THIS WHOLE PROCESS I HAVE HAD NO CALL BACK, NO REPLY, NO CONTACT FROM CARPHONE WAREHOUSE! In addition, the customer service team on the phone have dropped my call repeatedly, despite my being polite, honest and never even swearing!!! If you have an issue, THEY COULD WASTE HOURS OF YOUR DAY! ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS BUY FROM THEM! I would never trade with this company again! THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!

We don't normally do reviews, but so disappointed with CPW!! Initially we thought we had a great experience with the team that talk you through the deals, contracts, phones etc... We had emphasised that we needed European calls and texts, and sometimes International calls. The guy that talked us through the plan absolutely 100% categorically stated that the plan he had offered us had all this included, certain amount of minutes, etc. etc. My wife, and then I both went through the plan with him, so we know the advice he gave to us both!! Today I decided to check something on the Vodaphone web site (who our plan was going to be with.) and then to my horror discovered none of this was included, and were all extra "add ons!! The deal we had signed for was absolutely mis-sold to us! Extremely disappointed with Carphone Warehouse, as the advisor seemed so genuine. The phone didn't arrive on the day they stated either, and when I phoned to enquire re this, as I had re-arranged my day to suit, and was going to have to re-arrange another work day, they said well we've done our bit, we passed the phone onto DPD...... Never again. You have been warned, look at all the 1* star reviews. Need we say more.

Avoid this company. Bought a phone while they had an offer on with a free watch included. 3 months later, I am still waiting for the watch and no clear response to my emails, tweets

POOR POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.... The lost the phone between them and DPD and are charging - Customer Service have no clue , been chasing for 6 weeks for a refund.... Escalated to Mark Reynolds, Investor Relations Manager but he seem to give to Customer Service have have no responded.
