Plenty staff around however found they weren't as knowledgeable about product as I would of expected. However the overall knowledge was good just lacked in specifics and in one case I found later had misled me. Overall though the shopping experience was good, Carphone Warehouse referred the sale to PC World staff for purchase as I had a voucher for PC World which was good of them.

just got back from my first and last visit to carphone warehouse Just went in to buy a samsung J5 2017 handset only with the cash in my hand. "Yes we have one left but obviously I can't let you have that in case someone wants one on contract, I can get you one for tomorrow or you can get one from our shop in meadowhall (15 miles away)" Well they just lost a quick sale and a possible regular customer and they know where they can stick their last phone

A week ago my partener and I visited the Carphone shop in Freshney place Grimsby to look for a smartphone pay as you go each,being pensioners we really did need help,and I must say Emily was more than helpful ,she went above and beyond to explain to us,so we bought Nokia6 each,and she said if we were needing any help when we came into town again to call in and if she wasn’t there she said to ask for Alicia and she would help, and of coarse when we went in yesterday, she did show how to do things that we were not sure about,we was going to buy two cases for them but there was only one in stock. But no trouble they would order and post them to us as we live out of town,and we received them today I call that first class service,Well Done Carphone Warehouse you deserve five stars.

Bought a deal with them a day ago, only to realise that the confirmation email told me that the phone wouldn't be delivered until this time NEXT YEAR. Phoned to correct the delivery date and was passed through 3 different teams, none of whom could help. When I finally got through to someone to assist, I was told they needed to repoen the order, which essentially cancelled it, and then was told that they no longer had the deal I wanted to buy - they had a more expensive one for less GB of internet with a much larger upfront cost. The woman who spoke to me was very apologetic as it was a Carphone Warehouse glitch in the system, not my fault, but she explained she had no control over the monthly tariff cost and said she would get back to me with something else they could do. When I complained to their email helpline (not about the staff as they were actually trying to be as helpful as they could) I received a very insipid email offering me a £10 credit against whatever I bought with them next. Considering the fact that the new deal they offered me was going to cost me over £170 more, I felt like this just added insult to injury. I would have preferred a more apologetic email that didn't have any monetary 'compensation' attached. Finally, when I tried to ring this evening to completely cancel everything, I got a message on their phone saying the lines closed at 8pm when their website says it closes at 10pm. Never buying from them again.

stay away fake offers only to be told after the offer that the order was not placed. now the price has increased nothing they will do

These people are so disrespectful and unprofessional I am struggling to find the words to describe that! They send you an email to say your order has been accepted and you will receive you phone on this date but then fail to deliver it, when you call to find out what happens and spend on hold 36 minutes to even speak to a live person, they then tell you that your order has been cancelled because you did not pass some security stuff - excuse-me?! - could you not let the customer know so they don't have to call themselves and speak to the worst operators later to find out this? I could have purchased a phone on black Friday sale from someone else but because CarphoneWarehouse 'care' about their customers so much that they don't even inform you about your purchase just say they took your money... And after another line hold for 25 minutes I was told I was transferred to the wrong department, then I specifically asked the guy not to put me on hold and what he did - put me on hold again... How is this even possible in this day and age? I wish everyone just stopped buying from them so they cold finally understand the value of their own customers and start treating people with respect.

The phone was faulty but they refused to believe what happened and said something must have fallen on the phone even after I told them I witnessed the screen cracking whilst I was browsing. and there customer service is beyond terible

Ordered 2 phones online on Friday for in-store collection. Did not receive any tracking information. Was able to collect one phone on Saturday, the second one is a mystery and without tracking information, there's no information on when I may get it.

Terrible company, terrible customer services, avoid at all costs. I ordered a new phone through them and after receiving an email to say at it had arrived, they took my money, and after one of their customer services team told me it was ready for collection i went to collect it, only to be told it had not arrived. I don't know if someone in the company stole the phone or they are just totally incompetent.

I had very bad experience with carphones warehouse sales team in nuneaton . They got clues about deal every salesman and salesgirl different about the deal very lazy and rude with the customers management should take again the nuneaton sales team

I ordered a phone on-line. Carphone Warehouse (CPW) dispatched it by DPD for delivery on the agreed date. It didn't arrive. Everything went downhill from there. DPD couldn't contact their driver. When he arrived back at the depot, having not delivered it, he couldn't find the package. DPD said that they wouldn't search for it unless CPW asked them to. CPW's helpline operator couldn't or wouldn't contact DPD (this at ~5pm). Next morning they did contact DPD (I was told) but said it would be 3 to 5 "working days". Apparently this 24/7 operation, DPD, has Monday to Friday working days, what they do the rest of thee time I don't know. So it went on, it's now 9 days late and no phone. Yesterday, I checked with a local CPW store and they had the correct phone in stock. So, I suggested to the CPW support people that they just find a way to authorise the store to give me the phone. After all, they have had my money for more than a month anyway. No, can't be done, their computer system records the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) against my account and they can't put another one on there. Clearly the system is designed to protect CPW in every way possible and too bad if the occasional customer loses out. I've tried to get Mastercard to refund my payment so I can go to the shop, but they say that I need to leave it for 30 days before they will do this. So, my advice is, if CPW are the only people who have what you want at the right price, go to a shop and get the item in your hands before giving them any money. The guys in the shops seem to be fine. I would add, that their call centre is in South Africa. I deduced this from the accents and I read somewhere that it was Cape Town. I found that I couldn't understand some of the operators, particularly the women. This is down to the local accent, especially when they get excited and also, they seem to have a very poor VoIP (Voice over IP) system which distorts things, especially the dreadful music-on-hold. Another tip: If you use a mobile phone to call them, get the WeQ4U app it will save you a lot of time, up to 40 minutes on hold with CPW!

Went into your buxton Derbyshire branch what a great team.they know their stuff. Got me sorted with a new contract and transferred all my data. Well done mark and tom. Will be back.also very good at multitasking as only two members on and lots of people came in for help. Well done 😀
